Its been a while since I have wrote a review on Yelp. When I visited yelp today, the owner recalled me that he had seen me on yelp and it got me thinking what I had said about the restaurant.
Since my previous review, I have been to Nadias on multiple occasions, and things have changed.
Whenever I go now, the customer service is always good and never have an issue. On occasion I get my shawarma and its not as hot as I would like it to be, but I guess its just a request I need to make.
As long as you keep the iDine program, you will see me keep coming.1 Previous Review: Show all »

Food had a decent Mediterranean flavor. Enjoyed the Shawarma wrap. The lunch special is a good deal. For me the meat was a tad on the salty side. Also had their fresh hummus which was very good. The pita bread seems fresh.
This looks like the kind of place that is either lacking interest from the owner or teetering on the brink of OB.
The poor girl working the counter was working her tail off trying to keep up. It's totally unfair that she was in there doing everything by herself. She was getting it all done, but the owner of the place should be ashamed of leaving this woman alone during the lunch hour. If they had been busy, no way could she have done it all.
Its an order at the counter and they bring it to you kind of place. You pay at the counter then slide you a receipt to sign with a place for a tip even though you haven't been served anything yet. I really hate that. This is on the owner as well for a not so well thought out process.
Some of the tables needed cleaning but nobody was around to do that. If they expect the girl taking orders, running the register, making dishes, and serving customers to also bus tables then that is flat out wrong.
Maybe it was an off day with the support. I'll stop in again and hope for the best. -

In an effort to be a better vegetarian, I dropped the chips and went to nadia's for a falafel plate (the serving was more than generous...I barely made it through half before I gave up). Everyone was friendly, the shop was empty, but it was Monday at 5....so? The falafel was good eating. Not at all greasy, and I felt like I was actually in their kitchen when they were making it. The hummus had a little too much tahini, but everything else (fatoush and pita) was stellar. I can't rate their yogurt sauce, because I didn't have any (trying to watch the waistline), but definitely come through if you want authentic Mediterranean.
It may take a little bit (made to order), but it's worth it. Couldn't rate anything but the vegetarian options, but they're probably good too, if you like meat. -

Found this place while driving home and looking for some good food. It was Ok but overpriced for the quality. I prefer Zamani which is a little further away.

Nadia's is delicious! I love Shawarma there! The Gyros are so good, they give you tons of meat. I usually love super tender meat, but this meat is tender AND has a great crunch on the side. I also love their garlic sauce! The only downer is it often takes a while for your food as they cook it fresh right in front of you. I like to call ahead and get the ball rolling, then it's nearly done by the time I get there. (I only live like 2 miles away)

Let me start by saying the owner and her family are some of the friendliest people I have come across. Not only did they greet us, they talked with us quite a bit while we were there, and the owner actually brought me a free dessert while we ate outside. I was won over! I have only had the falafel sandwich, but the other dishes look quite tasty. The falafel is very well put together and as you see in other reviews, not greasy or over done. Excellently spiced. I'm a fan of her hummus. The quality of the dishes (and there are a number of the standards you will find in a mediterranean restaurant) is good. You get to watch them cut your meat, grill it, and prepare your meal. They bring your meal to your table. You get your own beverages (with free refills). The seating area is small and it's in a strip center and easily missed, but worth a stop if you enjoy good mediterranean food.
