Straight-forward, clean designs at amazing prices.  Reg made the usually crazy furniture buying experience nice & easy.  There was a little blip with a custom-ordered piece but even this was handled with great care by Reg and I could not be happier with my new stuff.  Don't mess with the higher priced (and poorly staffed) places - just go funky.

The prices are reasonable and the selection is decent.  I was really excited about their style, but don't expect to get your furniture within 4-6 weeks unless you're buying a floor model.  

We took home a floor model sofa and ordered a love seat and chair which were both delivered 8 weeks later.  And when we finally got them, the legs were a different color and taller than the ones on the matching sofa we bought.

It took 4 months and several follow up calls to get new matching legs that in the end still don't really match.  The color is too dark and one set of the legs are still too tall.

They did fix one of the cushions for us that lost a button... which was nice, but still disappointing since we only had the sofa for about 6 months.  Under normal wear and tear conditions you wouldn't think you should have to have it repaired so soon.

Overall, I guess you get what you pay for.  I say don't expect more than you would from Ikea.

I just found this store walking the dog down the street actually.  It didn't catch my eye the first time I passed but after a few times I went in.  Eventually I ordered a custom sectional.  I don't have much design sense I suppose and the staff was extremely helpful in helping me pick the materials and colors.  It looks great in my space!  I would happily shop at Funky Furniture again.

They have some really cool stuff here at totally reasonable prices. There's a lot of aluminum stuff, which doesn't strike me, but I like the small warehousey feel and some of the fun pieces. Check them out!

WYSIWYG (WhatYouSeeIsWhatYouGet) furniture place.  The usual 4-6 weeks wait time?  No such thing:  browse through, desire for an item, purchase, and take it home, like right now.

The proprietor is a soft-spoken, no frills individual.  I like the absence of salesy, pushy with a close-up smile type of staff.  As a potential client, you are free to roam, pontificate and decide.

Upon deciding on a bathroom cabinet piece, I settled my transaction, borrowed a dolly, and there I was strolling back through Folsom with my new cabinet piece on top of the loaner dolly

The selections are unique while the price is very reasonable.

Great store, nice variety of styles.  Like in the other review, no sales push and decent prices.  Very relaxed shopping :-)

If you're looking for good furniture at a fair price, this is the place to look.

I was riding my bike to work last week and saw this place on Folsom.  I liked the chairs in the window and decided to come back after work that day.

I found the perfect table to go with the chairs, so much that I was prepared to return the table I'd just hastily bought somewhere else a week before.  Since I was in the neighborhood, the owner offered to deliver the table and chairs to me that evening at 6:20.  Guess what time he came?  6:20.  He'd said curbside delivery but what the hell he carried everything up three flights of stairs for me.  Stellar.

So, now every time I walk into my kitchen I go "ahhhh."  Highly recommend this place.
