I really envy those people that can look out their window and throw a rock at their local bar. I would love that man!
Crappy day, time for a drink! Walk 40 feet to my local bar. Great day, time to celebrate, walk my 40 feet to the bar. I got a new pet, or my pet died, or I got a promotion, went through a breakup, found a new love, wow, 100,000 reasons to visit my local bar!
Do I expect it to be amazingly beautiful? No. Do I expect gorgeous Hollywood show girls to be all over the crowd? Nah. Do I have any hugh expectations what so ever? Nope.
Just a chill place to have drinks with cool people from my hood, cool bartender, and some damn good pizza to off set the 100,000 reasons for having this place as your local spot for drinks.
I'll walk the 40 feet with you, cheers!

Ducked in here for pre-movie drinks with the boy. The bartender was sweet and knew how to pour 'em!
Oh, and California Labor Code Section 6404.5(b) doesn't apply here. Be prepared for your clothes and hair to smell like smoke.

drove by the other night and saw some guy outside vomiting. the bartender makes you go on a diet, fast! it would be a pretty good place if it didn't stink and lure the real bad alcoholics. old man city and a real low class bar. head down the street if you don't want to sit next to someone who just got out of jail. it's not a good crowd and there is drug use going on outside, the police are often there,, i live behind this place, unfortunately for me.

Typical neighborhood dive, except a bit busier than most. This bar has a large base of regulars, so expect some of the drama that comes with that. Live music on Saturday nights, acoustic open mic on Sunday nights, and Karaoke several nights a week. The talent at the open mic and at the karaoke was surprisingly good. The MC of the karaoke was really into it and knew how to work the crowd. The main bartender, Sassy, is very nice and is an excellent bartender.
