The place is small but the staff is friendly and eager to please. They have lots of specials that keep me coming back. Jakie is the best masseuse.

It is very clean and well decorated.

I had three visits here for the promotion week for spa week. The only thing I didn't like was I had to come back 3 days instead of one to get all the treatment done, but that was no biggie.

The first time coming here, the staff was very friendly and although the place is a bit small i really liked how they decorated it.  The products that they use were average to high quality products.

The first treatment I had was the 50 minute body scrub. I really liked this and out of the 3 treatments this is my favorite one, except I wanted a little firmer pressure and I asked for it, but she didnt seem to give me more pressure. But, after I rinsed offf, my skin felt really smooth and soft. Afterwards, my skin was glowing. I really loved it. And the body scrub they used was Mancine kiwi scent, it smelled so good. Also, did this in a couples room with my friend. It did seem alil crammed but it wasnt that bad as JP mentioned. Although, the $20 charge wasn't really worth it and we were coming back three times that'd be $60 extra.

The 2nd treatment I did was the swedish massage. Boy, is this relaxing. Jackie gave me the right pressure and she's super friendly. You should ask for her for massages. I had so many stress knots in my back and shoulders and she took them all out. Love it!!!

My last visit was a European facial.  Sorry, but it was my least favorite.  i don't know whether it was because we went very early, but my room was soo cold and I got goosebumps, slid into the heated blanket as told it was heated i still felt cold.  Well, after awhile that seemed okay because there was warm steam blowing at me...,but then i was applied with super cold cream. The esthetician Marie was really nice. My face felt really greasy afterwards, but that could just be me. But after I washed my face like 3 times it feels so clear and smooth.

Overall, my experience was I would say 4 stars. Would I go back? yes.

Pros: friendly service, nice bathrooms, yummy teas =) good quality products, nice ambience, relaxing music, Jackie, spa week promotions, lots of parking

Cons: small, I think the showers should have filled up bodywash, shampoos, etc and not near empty bottles. It's annoying when I'm trying to like shake it out, extra charge for couples room, its just moving the bed in the room, it's not that hard.

Services offered are the same as those in bigger day spas but cheaper!

Great ambience. Customer service is excellent. When you make an appointment, you will get in at the time agreed upon.  Upon entering, you are waited upon. They will offer to take off your shoes, offer you slippers and give you somme cucumber water. You will feel instantly relaxed.

Employees will not stop until you are satisfied with the result.

Besides getting a couple massage, this is my first time at a day spa. The service is fantastic. Usually, that doesn't mean anything to me because service should be good everywhere, but this place was exceptional because they accomodated my friend and i in a room so we can get our spa manicures (for $30 each) in the same room, gave us water, answered my very blunt questions patiently. They only have one nail room, and there's two chairs in that room, so I assume only two people can get their nails done at a time.

My manicure was done by Angie. She mentioned that she's been doing this for only a little over a year. She was a very sweet nail technician, but i have one complaint... my french polished nails aren't smooth!! It's annoying, I rub it and i feel a dip between the white polish and clear polish -_-

Four stars because they are eco-friendly. They have paperless receipts, so they e-mail you your receipt instead. I thought that was brilliant! They use 100% cotton towels washed in cold water rather than paper towels that other nail spas would use and throw away. They also take SpaFinder certificates =)

Get on their e-mail list cuz you'll receive e-mails regarding Spa Week which occurs twice a year (once in April and again in September), and they send out coupons for your birthday! I haven't gotten it yet, but I sure am looking forward to them :)

    2.5 Stars!

I've decided to come and check this place out, after seeing the promotions that they were having for spa week. I lured my boyfriend to come and check it out with me, so I booked an appointment for a couple's mud wrap session. The website didn't specify if they had a treatment for couples, so I called and they said that they did, and immediately booked our session.

The place is extremely small, but very pleasant and clean. The staff was accommodating and nice. The thing that disappointed me was that it took 15 mins to get started, and my boyfriend and I were in separate rooms. The receptionist forgot to mention in my appointment that it was a couple's treatment. We had to wait another 15 mins for them to squish another bed into the room. The room was squished with 2 beds. I wondered how the therapists managed to work with such little space. On top of that, I had to pay an additional $20 for a couple's fee that I was totally unaware of. I was like, WTF?! Not because I had to pay extra, but because of the receptionist's mistake, 2 beds crammed up in a room, us having to wait a little more, AND because no one dared to tell me it was an additional $20!

Anyway, about the treatment... it was just different from the other mud wrap treatments that I've had. It was really minty, which felt very refreshing. I think they should've warmed up the bed before they started the treatment, because I was shivering and I was so cold, too cold! The foot massage was just ok, I've had better. Overall, the feeling after the mud wrap was awesome! My skin felt soft and somewhat relaxed. In the end, I think I won't come back here again because I've had much better treatments and a better atmosphere. The therapists just seemed too young and inexperienced--maybe you're better off with a massage here?

Okay went back and it was a different experience. The staff was polite and courteous. It's still expensive but they give out a lot of promotions.

I came about this place when a group of girlfriends wanted to do lunch and get massages.  Well I ended up getting a facial and one got a masssage by Jackie which she LOVED!  I wasn't to fond of my facial made my face really dry and even a peeling like texture after a few days.  I think it was the product.  I went back with my sis n law to get a 2 for combo on their NOVALASHES.  Which I totally loved... had it done and got fills a few times...and stopped.  Got a lil expensive... and out of my budget to have beautiful lashes!  I forgot my techs... but they did an awesome job!  I also brought my mom there for her birthday for a massage which was like $85 bucks she thought was nice but too expensive...she' d rather go to the cheap reflexology places in Westminster lol!  Actually she has never been too one so I don't know what she thinks she missing on... over all the place is small, love their decor, bathroom, and ambiance.  The staff are super friendly and would recommend this place for Lashes! lol because I myself have not had any services!

After a few visits, I think I can consider myself a regular.  Why do I keep coming back?  Convenient location, reasonable prices, great massage therapists, love the ambience and spa water, and it's run by super friendly and helpful staff.

I really like coming to this place, especially for their rainy day specials.  I am embarrassed to admit that I check the weather channel religiously just to see when the rains will hit again so I can enjoy amazing savings.

"Life is not about the destination, it's the journey..." I found that saying on the bathroom wall of the My Spa Journey's women's restroom, so true. I went on a journey and what did I find, a place to feel rejuvenated yet conveniently close by. Go onto South Street in Cerritos inside the shopping center which has a Chinese supermarket on the first floor, and on the 2nd floor in suite 203 you'll enter My Spa Journey a.k.a. MSJ. The staff are friendly, calm, and nice. They greet you as you enter then offer you water or tea. I got lost getting here because for some reason I ended up at the shopping center with the Babies R Us, but sure enough, I found it and though I was 5 minutes late, the staff welcomed me and had no worries of my tardiness. They have you fill out a form which lets them know what kind of treatments you are interested in and your spa history, etc. My massage therapist was Angie and she was so cordial and informative. I chose the "Purifying Journeys Facial," which was a 60 minute treatment focusing on acne and blemishes. Angie also removed my whiteheads, a little painful, but hey, pain is beauty and beauty is pain! This facial also included a face, neck, and shoulders massage. You have a choice of lotion or oil for the massage and for the oils, there are lavender, eucalyptus, and some other one that escaped my mind. I chose the Eucalyptus oil for my massage which felt very soothing and relaxing. Oh by the way, they have you wear this wrap for your body and a head wrap to keep your hair away from your face...make sure they give you an appropriate size, my body wrap was on the wrong way and it took a good 2 minutes to figure it out. Overall, this was an excellent spa experience and I have already made an appointment for another treatment, which you get 10% off if you book it after completing a treatment. Ask your massage therapist to recommend any products and they will give you free samples. If you have an hour or so to spare, then go to My Spa Journeys for great skin care!
