6 reviews for MY Museum
This place just rocks! Our little guy especially liked hanging out in the Pizzeria -- lots of action here, kids cooking, serving stuff up, etc. One little girl told my hubby that she had to leave to deposit money in the bank, but her employees (did those other kids know they worked for her?) would take care of him!!
He also loved the "magic" painting, the dinosaur table, and the magnet table.
There is also a toddler room in back with finger mazes, blocks, and books, and my nephew loved the theater set up with tons of costumes for dress ups.
We're really looking forward to the opening of the new facility.
This place is great for kids under 9. It is great because it lets their imagination go wild with different areas they have there. My son liked the tree house, the ambulance and the farm area. The museum is not that big, but the kids had a lot of fun, I would go back there again. We spent quite a bit of time here and even my baby (who is crawling) had an area to play in. It is very kid friendly and very reasonable.
16.50 for me and both my kids.
I was expecting a bigger place.
This place is like a long hallway about 20 feet wide and 100 feet long.
Kids had plenty of fun playing with the different activities available and of course I got to overhear a lot of (we're the best parents in the world) talk.
It was ok for one time but I won't be back. It's got a bunch of the same stuff they would have at a nice daycare.
Most people are bringing there 2 and 3 year olds here.
I can't see anyone over 9 or 10 having a good time here.
It's on the mid level of the signature big parking garage downtown and there's a union bank of california atm downstairs (which is a small miracle since that's my bank and they have like 3 atms in the bay area)
We had several hours to kill before we could check into your hotel, so in addition to lunch we spent quite a bit of time here. It's an advancement on the indoor playground thing that's spreading lately, but with a focus on interaction over free play. They have things like a crafts area, computers for kids to play on, lots of dress up opportunities, and an area where they can put on a theatre production complete with CCTV monitoring.
My only quibble is with the general pricing. Everyone entering pays the same except for the 2 and under set. They should allow the first adult with a child in free and charge for additional adults. My 2 cents. Anyway, it wasn't applicable to us because we just happened to come on $2 Tuesdays, so all three of us got in for just over the cost of a single admission.
$5.50 2 and up. If there's more than one parent per child, the excess person should definitely bring a book. 4 stars.
Definitely a great place for kids to play and explore freely. Hours and hours of fun. My girls especially loved the bubble structure, where the child can stand inside and a huge bubble is formed around them. The only problem to this place is that it's on the 2 1/2 floor, in which you can't reach by elevator. So if you have strollers, you have to walk it up. However, the girl working there offered to help carry the stroller for us.
This is a fun place for kids. Plenty of things to explore, create and play with. A little hard to find and parking is the pits but it's worth it. They'll be moving to a new and bigger location which will be fantastic.
