Is that Paris Hilton in the leash and collar section? Muttropolis is oh-so-posh and stylish. Incredibly so. So stylish that a single collar and leash set for my pooch could set me back more than my grocery bill for the week. I'd be surprised if celebrities don't shop here for their purse dogs whose paws never touch the floor while visiting Boulder or Aspen.

Super cool place to check out, though- gourmet treats, haute couture collars, carriers, pet beds, and toys- and maybe someday I'll be able to afford to actually buy something when I come in! Until then, though, gorgeous window shopping and VERY helpful staff.

This store is geared more toward small dogs.  I've actually encountered employees there who were intimidated by the size of my guys (to be fair, most of of the people there don't have that problem).  
For more out-doorsy, tougher quality, and less expensive (for the same stuff) items, I go across the street to McGuckins.  
Watch out for their draconian return policies.  Officially, they'll let you return stuff for store credit only.  I've had luck getting money out of them (for a leash that broke in first five minutes of use), but they do it grudgingly, and always with disclaimer that they are doing you a giant favor.
It's a cute store.  There are just better ones out there--at least for my needs.

If you're having a difficult time finding stylish pet supplies, Muttropolis is your store. They have lots of cute, colorful and contemporary toys, beds, collars and other pet gear so Fido and Whiskers don't have to look so last season.

They have cleverly displayed collars of every color, with spikes, pearls, rhinestones and various other decorations. Heaps of fluffy colorful pet beds draw you to the back of the store. They had some modern cardboard "art" for your cat to enjoy either scratching or sleeping on.

I would be all about this store if I had a bigger income. Or maybe a dog, cats don't need much accessorizing. For me $25+ for a cat collar seems just a wee bit steep. So, alas, my kitty will be horribly out of style.
