I came to the zoo last summer to see Bucho! perform and it was a lot of fun. It was pretty neat to be there after hours and get to walk around in a mostly adult crowd (no offense kids). They had beer, wine and foodstuffs to buy. Weeeee drinking at the zoo!
Definitely bring in your own seating unless you are lucky enough to snag a picnic table but there are far and few between. Also, the picnic tables aren't as close by to the stage as you might like them to be. The picnic tables tend to be in the dustier part of the zoo, so take note.
Fun fun fun at the zoo!
This event is each July in the Zoo. Nice venue for local bands.
Bring a collapible outdoors chair, or get there early and snag one of the picnic tables (you can move them). Food/drinks are sold. Zoo access is not part of the ticket price, but I was able to wander around and check out the animals during the show.
