My mother-in-law re-married yesterday, and my wife and I hired Daphna and Bruce to provide music for the wedding at our home in Campbell, CA. We had seen Daphna and Bruce play at Regale Winery in Los Gatos, and they were fabulous there as well. We contacted Daphna to check availability, and she was available at the date and time we needed. She provided a very reasonable quote, and sent us a contract. A few weeks before the wedding, she came to our home and met with my wife and mother-in-law to review the details. She was very pleasant and professional. On the day of the wedding, she and Bruce arrived on-time and setup promptly. They provided music as the guests arrived, wedding procession music, festive music at the ceremony concluded, and fun danceable music during the reception. They amplified their music, and it was just the perfect volume. Many of our guests commented on how beautiful, appropriate and fun the music was. Daphna really understood how to read the crowd and tailor the musical selection accordingly.
I would highly recommend Daphna and Bruce to provide classy music to any event, and I would certainly hire them again. -

We just had our wedding almost two weeks ago in Saratoga, CA at Villa Montalvo! The day was spectacular and everyone commented on how beautiful the scenery and the music was. I asked Daphna if they could include music from my favorite TV show GLEE called 'Halo/Walking on Sunshine' which was a mash-up of Beyonce's Halo R&B and some 80s song Wakling on Sunshine pop rock. I wasn't sure if it could be pulled off but I wanted to try and they were game for it. They were very encouraging to trying out new songs and worked with the materials that was out there on YouTube and other current media to figure out 'Halo/Walking on Sunshine' and it was such a hit!
I love the unexpected twist and fresh ending to our ceremony when we walked away and we received a few comments from music-o-philes and gleeks on how wonderful it was that they could play that song! We also asked that they include "The Beautiful Jasmine" which was a very traditional ancient folklore song and they did an amazing job. It was very touching for the elders in our families to hear that song at the wedding. We really appreciated how they were willing to learn new songs and to make it reflect our taste in an Asian-friendly wedding while pulling off some fun with a Glee song!
Plus they were super organized and super responsibe on email. Always important when planning for a wedding! And they were the sweetest too! We got a lovely card from them on our wedding! Awww! :-) And they were patient! Our wedding ran a bit late (like probably half an hour over) and they were very accommodating and worked with the shifted schedule and were just lovely lovely! -

Daphna and Bruce played at our Jewish/Catholic wedding and they were amazing. They played Jewish songs and classical for processional, Ave Maria for the interlude, and a folk song for the recessional. So we had really a mix of everything, but Daphna and Bruce did such an amazing job with each genre. You can find Daphna singing Ave Maria on youtube and she is just as good in person.
Working with Daphna was great. She sent a long list of suggested songs that we could pick from, and they even learned some new songs at our request. Daphna was so flexible, agreeing to talk with us at 8pm since that was the only time that worked for us, and she was so pleasant to talk to. -

Not only are Daphna and Bruce amazing Musicians, but they are also wonderful people. They played at our wedding last month and last summer at my Sister in law's wedding. We had a Jewish/Catholic wedding ceremony and they did a great job playing songs that incorporated both of our religions and threw in some of our favorite Beatles songs! The music was beautiful and made our day so special. This was by far one of my favorite wedding appointments. Daphna made the whole process so simple and even asked me for my event coordinators phone number so she could arrange all the details with her personally. She made me one happy bride.

We had the pleasure of having Daphna and Bruce play at our wedding-- they played beautifully and were an absolute pleasure to work with. Planning a wedding is a lot of stress, and Daphna was incredibly professional and on top of everything. We looked at A LOT of wedding musicians, and these two really stuck out as sounding the best. The classic guitar and violin sounds beautiful together, and they both have OUTSTANDING voices and play a wide variety of songs for both the ceremony and the cocktail party following. They learned 2 new songs for our wedding, which they performed beautifully, making our day that much more special and unique for us. We got TONS of compliments from our guests.
I would highly recommend this duo!!! -

I highly recommend Music by Daphna. From the initial contact emails, through to the performance itself, every step of the way was courteous and professional.
They are a very talented duo, and with an artist's sensibility, they provided just the right atmosphere and ambiance for our event. They really went out of their way to be accommodating, and I would definitely hire them again. -

AMAZING! Daphna and Bruce did a great job of wow'ing us and the diverse group of guests at our wedding. The music was flawless. I don't know many musicians who can please an Irish and Armenian crowd, but this duo did exactly that.
During the planning process, Daphna was able to hear what we needed and was able to guide us in choosing the music for our ceremony, including taking the time to learn a new piece. Being an Armenian bride, I was impressed with her knowledge of our culture, music and traditions. I would highly recommend having Daphna and Bruce be a part of your special day.
(To all the Armenian yelpers out there: Daphna and Bruce amazed my old-school 79 year-old Armenian dad.) -

Daphna and Bruce played at our wedding this summer at a small vineyard in Sonoma and were wonderful. They came highly recommended from our wedding planner, who has a lot of experience with event planning at another popular winery in Sonoma, and proved to be true professionals from the very beginning. Daphna met with my wife and planned out every stage of the ceremony and selected music that met both my wife's (traditional) and my tastes. They created the perfect atmosphere for our ceremony and we feel very lucky to have found them.
