I give Guisselle and her team two Big Thumbs Up!
My existing travel agent (NOT Mundi) contacted my group to let us know "now is the time to book". While they booked travel for some of the group, they left a few of us in the dark for approx 3 weeks. Complete silence... did not return our countless calls and emails. As we waited, prices went up and up and ultimately out of our budget. For those who were left in the dark, our trip had to be canceled... All year long, my group worked hard to raise money and save PTO to deliver 100+ wheelchairs to needy folks in Thailand. Now, a few of us are going to be sitting at home and waiting for next year. (Silicon Valley Wheelchair Project)
MUNDI TRAVEL TO THE RESCUE:
I called Mundi Travel and Guisselle gave me her full attention. Guisselle and her team provided me with excellent service and processed my request quickly... The most impressive part of it all... Guisselle was coordinating my itinerary while she was out of town. She gave me status updates regularly and worked until 10:44pm to help me out. She really cared about me and my team's cause.
I look forward to working with Mundi Travel in 2012.

i called mundi about my travelplans to vietnam, got connected to Jim.
though they didn't specialize in travel to asia, Jim, took the time to give me information on other travel agencies that did and gave me really great tips on booking cheaper travel.
that's great customer service!
when i have travel plans to italy or latin america, i'm calling Jim up :) -

Unfortunately our concerns were not addressed but we were told about our concerns "Thankyou for your feedback" or "Im sorry you were not satisfied" - In my opinion I dont think i would call my concerns being "addressed" at least not for the 15,000 dollars that I spent.1 Previous Review: Show all »

I called hoping to find an agent who could help me with last minute cheap flights to Thailand for December. I spoke to Jim & he was fantastic! Very patient and helpful. Although he couldn't come up with any cheap flights since it was last minute & my schedule was for the holidays...he took the time to listen & help me which none of the last 3 agencies I called did that for me.
If you call this travel agency...ask for Jim! He's all about customer service!! -

This review is for a FREE travel consultation that I signed up for, which was with Tara. I'm a bit of wary things usually, but since I had some time, I thought I'd give it a try, hoping that I would not be pestered endlessly afterwards.
Tara was extremely professional, warm. She gave me a lot of good advice about a trip to the Galapagos Islands, and only at the end of the call did she talk about her services. She was very upfront with my concerns regarding being charged a higher price through their agency - and offered for me to look up a preliminary itinerary and she will let me know if she can price match it before I even pay the deposit.
I'm still in the process of figuring things out but if I were to go with anyone, it would be with Tara at Mundi for my travel needs. -

Unless you really know what you're doing, it's best not to plan an overseas trip on your own and I'm very glad we used Mundi. Guiselle did a wonderful job planning our honeymoon to France.
She provided the best options considering us, our schedule, and best of all, our budget. Sure, you can search online all day and save a couple hundred bucks, but you will spend several days doing what Guiselle did for us in a few phone calls.
The next time I need a travel agent, this is definitely the first place I'll call. -

Can't say enough good things about Guiselle. She made what was going to be a VERY difficult bit of honeymoon planning into an EXCELLENT holiday.
Not only were there myriad possibilities and options, but she then taylored such to our budget. Answered a bazillion questions. Followed up on our return.
I'll not travel far without her involvement! -

I've had plenty of opportunities to travel outside of the U.S. but I always made excuses - not enough time or money or relationships just go in the way. Well, this time, I was forging ahead. This was going to be my graduation present to myself!
My husband and I decided where we wanted to go which was South America. I would have loved to travel through Ecuador, Peru, and Bolivia but instead, we decided on 1 country - Peru. I tried figuring out our travel plans on my own but it became too time consuming, frustraing, and downright confusing. I enlisted the help of Mundi Travel and Guisselle was truly fantastic in helping to plan a trip to Peru and within our budget.
She went through the itinerary with us, gave us suggestions, and sent us on our way! Ryan and I had a great time in Peru seeing all the Inca sites especially Machu Picchu. Everything from the flights to the tours to the hotels went relatively smoothly. Now, I just need to save up for another trip and have Guisselle help me again. -

I give this travel agency 5 stars especially to Jennifer. My finance and I went to Vegas to celebrate my 21st Birthday!! She made the trip stress free and relaxing. My fiance and I loved the trip and enjoyed the useful information that Jennifer provided us. She had everything down from the second we left her office to almost every step we took throughout the entire trip. Thank you again. We had a wonderful time celebrating my 21st Birthday in Vegas!! We did pretty much everything possible that you could do in Vegas with he exceptions of hookers, we celebrated my first legal drink in -5 degree temperature and walked the strip and saw many shows! We cant tell you how much fun we had. The whole trip was amazing and fun. Ps. Thank you for our birthday cards. My mom and I loved them! =] -

My wife and I just celebrated our 25th Wedding Anniversary in New York.
Ivania Arguello was excellent! on helping us getting on short notice a great package at a great location and a great price.
I was not sure we were going to make it, until she found us this package and in our way we were. And back. And very pleased.
I definitely highly recommend Ivania and Mundi Travel.

My boyfriend declared this was the best vacation he ever took, which means a lot because he doesn't like to travel very much. Guisselle booked our trip and communicated with me very promptly and with attention to detail. I had always booked air and hotel reservations on the phone or on my own by internet, but using Mundi Travel saved a lot of time and check in/out was easy (no credit card to deal with etc). Our tickets to Disneyland, our hotel vouchers, and car reservation came in one package -- no need to juggle different pieces of information. I can't wait to book my next trip with Guisselle!

Mundi Travel is absolutely terrific! We decided to go to Hawaii at the very last minute. Guiselle is a doll. She was able to coordinate 3 flights from San Jose & 1 from El Paso to Honolulu and back. I was completely informed of all iteneraries in a timely fashion. Guiselle also had some recommendations for activities which turned out fabulous. Thank you Mundi Travel and a special thank you to Guiselle. I look forward to working with you again soon.

My husband and I just got back from our honeymoon to Europe! We had an AMAZING time, and most of it is due to Guiselle from Mundi. She just planned everything out so promptly, with no hassle and confusion at all. I admit at first, I was a little hesitant going to a travel agency for our vacation needs; but Guiselle didn't pressure us into anything at all. She laid out all our options and took great care of us throughout the whole entire process. I definitely recommend Mundi Travel for their professionalism in customer service and their hospitality throughout the whole vacation process.

I was especially impressed with the helpfulness and knowledge of Jennifer. She worked hard to book a trip (flight and hotel) for Rio in Brazil. I saw her value in that she provided advice on how to prepare for a FUN trip...getting shots, getting the US touring visa, etc. Unfortunately, I was booking on behalf of a few other friends and they did not want to move forward with the travel agency. I still write this review in that because of my experience with Jennifer, I WILL DEFINITELY CONTACT HER in the future for other travels.
