4**** for a classic, bustling, "been here forever" small town diner with both counter & booth service. Full menu, everything coming out looked good. 3 guys on the grill busy, busy. Coffee continuously refilled. Truly warm & friendly service.
We had not been here in at least 18+ years, glad that we took a chance and despite the amount of folks waiting, counter seats were soon available.
I had a patty melt, a favorite that I seldom order. This is a 1/2 lb. patty, cooked to order with a nice amount of chopped onions & melted swiss.
I was good for half, so consider sharing. Cole slaw was perfect. Very pleasant decor. We enjoyed our time here & will return again soon.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 3Oh no 0 - Feb 1, 2024
Love the diner! Still had the Christmas theme up! As soon as you walk into the restaurant it's like Christmas wonderland! Food was good, waitress kept trying to get you to order like lady chill you have like 4 menus for me to look at I can't even decided which one to pick up and start reading yet and you want me order. They seemed like they get a lot of regulars in but I'm a newbie and I need to read to see what you got. You only have like 200 items!
I finally ordered and got the ham steak with scrambled eggs and side of corn beef hash. You can skip that can processed crap. The ham steak was huge and very salty. Wouldn't get that again. On the other hand hubby got the turkey hash now that was REALLY GOOD!
I also got the fresh squeezed orange juice that thing was like $8 for a small. Eh it was a bit sour. The waitress chats up with customers and you can't even get her attention because she's damn near sitting with them at the table. Thank god we sat towards the front and asked the young man to go grab her for us! If it wasn't for him we wouldn't waited forever to get her attention!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jan 24, 2024
Mundays is a fun local eatery for the family. There arent alot of relaxing family friendly restaurants in Huntington, but Mundays is it. Good old fashioned diner like food-nothing crazy. I love a good BLT or grilled cheese and my girls love their pancakes and chicken fingers. Sometimes service can be slow but its usually fairly.
If you have kids-Mondays are balloon night. They have someone come and make amazing balloon creations for the kids, it is amazing and is a tradition now to go on Mondays. My girls get very upset if we miss it.
Decorations: they decorate extremely creative for the holidays, and this is SO fun to see!!!
We truly enjoy Mundays. It is a fun local restaurant, with good food and a fun environment.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Apr 2, 20241 check-in
Very cute inside and the servers were nice. The food was good, above average diner food. The menu is quite small, do not expect a normal size diner menu. I would definitely go back during another holiday season to see the decorations!

An amazing gem of an eatery in the heart of Huntington. Our waitress Joan was super gracious and served us ample portions of delicious dishes. The decor and ambiance is old school and the prices are very reasonable. I highly recommend Munday's and they truly deserve a 5 star rating.

What a charming little spot! And it's 100 years old. It's also 100 years old. This is a fantastic place to get some delicious breakfast. Grab a stack of pancakes and a cup of coffee - you'll love it. They also serve lunch breakfast and dinner.
I visited during the Halloween season, and it was decked out in cute spooky decorations. Despite the fact that it was busy, service was attentive and friendly. If you arrive late, you may have to wait.
4 stars because it's just a fun and happy place with great breakfast.Helpful 9Thanks 1Love this 4Oh no 0 - Renee G.Kissimmee, FL31116Apr 1, 2024
Munday's is a terrific classic little diner. It's always busy but I've never waited too long to be seated. Parking can also be tough if it's a busy time, as with any of the shops and restaurants in that area. The staff is super friendly and attentive, always quick to refill coffee and get whatever you need. The food is great - I tend to order breakfast items, which they serve all day, so I can't say how the lunch or dinner food is. I love how the decorate the entire restaurant depending on the holiday/season.

Absolutely terrific spot
Place is clean, accessible and staff are soofriendly and welcoming
Breakfast today was a great many selections.
Pumpkin choices, fresh eggs and piping hot coffees to start your day !Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Nov 14, 2016Previous reviewImmediately seated, piping hot coffee served up with cream and breakfast foods were served at appropriate temperature. Toast cooked, and served dry as requested. Marmalade was awesome. The waitress seemed as though been there forever bc all customers greeted her and she knew their drink orders. She was AWESOME! Never had to ask for water, coffee, etc... she was on her game. The only reason I removed 1 star was PARKING. Huntington needs to awaken and make an app for parking bc those meters are not set in the right place to access easily with disabilities.

Okay I wanna start by just saying that I've been coming to Munday's for 20 years and I've never had a bad experience before but for some reason the last few times I've gone(for their later shift never the morning... the morning crew is solid) it seems like only high school students work there. We only ever saw our waitress once, when she took our order. It was really simple; one app and two specials. Someone from the back (not our server) didn't address us or tell us to enjoy just carelessly dropped our mozzarella sticks off on the edge of the table, as quick as they could, and ran off never bothering to even bring us two little plates or anything. And then not even 5 minutes later someone else brings our entrees out while we still have more than half off our app and brings the wrong order. I had to wait and let my food get cold while they made the correct entree for my boyfriend. Still no sign of our waitress, mind you. My boyfriend and I both have a combined like 45 years in the restaurant industry on Long Island, so we tipped her well considering the bad experience and because it's the right thing to do but jeez I'm only ever gonna come here for breakfast when all the old timers are working, they know what's up.

Very lively place, always packed. Service was great as well. We only stopped by for desserts. I had the brownie a la mode. Both the brownie and ice cream were just average nothing special. Great portion size though.
