This place rocks! First of all the location is very convenient for me and best of all its VERY affordable. I can drop by during the week, get $10 worth of tokens and have the kids play games for hours.

Often times a few of the machines or games can be played for free. I don't know why but I've had several free air hockey games and Guitar Hero had like 100 credits.. people played for free all day.

Unlike at Chuck E Cheeses, they'll actually get cool toys when they turn in all their tickets at the end of the night.

Best of all they have regular promotions going like $15 p/day for an all day pass. Sure, the place is small and they have to ride the same rides over and over. But trust me, they don't care!  Besides, do you really want to spend an entire day at an amusement park spending lots of $$$ on food and having to walk several miles to get to each ride and back to your car. Let's not forgot those crazy lines!

Everything is conveniently close. Free parking, free admission, and just a few bucks entertain the kids for hours. Yup, I'm loving that!

The negative:
-When it's packed, it's annoying! Just walk away... half the machines will be broken or they will no longer have tickets.
-Oh, and let's not forget the ghetto people that come with low prices.
-The bathrooms.. yuck! Enough said.

As there is not much to do in the Torrance area, I was surprised that a family fun center was here. This place reminds me of a more homey version of Boomers. The arcade, batting cages, mini golf and go karts.

It wasn't as bad as I heard from others. The mini golf must've been revamped, because it seemed pretty nice when I went. There are two different mini golf courses. The one on the left is an easier course.

The place is very kid friendly and fun. I had a lovely time.

I go on a lot of field trips for my summer job. I was quite impressed with our experience here.

Pros:
-the staff was super professional, friendly, and helpful. so refreshing. my fellow summer camp staff were really impressed!
-the entire facility was very clean.
-lots of things for younger kids to do
-games give out a lot of tickets, and most prizes don't require an astronomical amount of tickets to win
-snack bar is more like a little restaurant

Cons:
-bathroom is very small for a facility of this size
-the arcade room gets positively sweltering when it's full of people
-1/2 of the ticket counting machines were out of order, so it was rather chaotic trying to redeem tickets for prizes
-snack bar and prize counter are too close to each other and it makes it difficult to use either when the game room gets really crowded

The best part: I walked away with a furry leopard slap bracelet and a container of bubbles shaped like an ice cream cone that smells like strawberries.

I took my son Saturday Night.
I do not remember it being as ghetto as Chucky Cheese but there was a few of the *Usual Suspects* there. My son rode the go karts for little people, the batting cages and the arcade. He and I both loved the batting cages. 2 bucks for about 20 balls, we will be back for that. it was cool. The arcade had a few good games. We played air hockey about 3 times, my son swears he can beat me.... lol. He is a cheater and still can't win. Hell he is only 7. We did the basket ball game and football game, he is becoming a lil man and wants to do big boy stuff. Mommie #1 does not allow him to play with guns but since she was not there we assaulted some terrorist on this one game, it was bad ass. We did not eat there so no food review on the rain Forest cafe, we were there during closing time so we hot tailed it to Claim Jumpers which will be reviewed next!!!!

Thump...Ka-ching, thump...Ka-ching, thump...ka-ching!

Do about 300 of those and your arm will feel sore and jello!  I'm not talking about stroking it, but yes I'm talking about hitting it!  A baseball and/or softball.

I don't really care much about the kiddy rides or mini golf course, for me it's all about the batting cage at Mulligans.  I've gave them a four star because of their lighting at the place and the number of batting cages they have.  I go there during the weekdays and there are plenty of batting cage to swing at.  Another reason for the high rating is they have plenty of bats and helmet, which I was told is required.

When you go there, don't get the one hour batting cage deal, which cost $28 for an hour!  You would do the same amount of swinging for $20 bucks since it gives you 28 tokens and it takes about 2 tokens each session.  50 balls for each session, so about 24 tokens for 300 at-bats, which is almost an hour after each break.  And, trust me after a hundred you would want to stretch up just keep your arm loose.

The food is okay at this place, I've been here before for birthday parties for my kid's classmate.  The putt-putt place is okay and usually crowded, and there is a play structure for toddlers, which is good for my boys since they're only 4 and 2.

Overall, if you're looking for a batting cage in the South Bay, this is a good place to get your swing on during the weekday and a good place to take your kids to get their energy out on weekends.

Well...

I drove about 20 miles to get to this place. The advertising on-line is great and make you say "LETS GO" i should know because i got suckered into it.. It's not a LETS GO kind of place...

The place was rundown and yes a lot of characters there... After playing a few machine games i went outside to take my daughter to the Jungle gym and wtf?? Jungle gym my butt. She would have had a better time at McDonald's Play-land.

She didn't even get on the Jungle Gym but just kind of looked around at this disastrous place.

The people there are rude and have no manners...(trust me) We ended up leaving after 20 min and ended up at another disastrous place... You could fin that in my previous review...

Family Fun - NO!

Great For teens - YES!

Will Go Again - I think not!!

Good thing i didn't have to pay to get in.... *phew

Wow what a pile of crap this place has become. I have been going there since I was a wee little one and I have to say it has gone down hill immensely. As Shawn L. said this place is full of "ghetto" people and I must say it doesn't smell very good but when most of the children there smell like dirt and catsup then what do you expect?

My last experience there was the final draw. My nephew was having his 7th birthday party there and when we went it was packed, I could deal with that. We went in and I went to find a table and the back room was empty so I fixed the tables in the back corner so everyone had a seat. Someone ordered food (which is actually pretty good) and we all sat down. Five minutes later we were joined by this family with shitty attitudes, bad language, and obviously didn't know anything about the English language.

Then some rather hefty hefty lady [about 3-4 bills] wearing booty shorts which would have looked normal if they were worn by a person who actually wore that size and a tube top that had muffin from the top and a slab of meat pouring over the front of her shorts) and proceeded to bitch that she needed to sit on two chairs because she needed to be comfortable. She wouldn't shut the hell up so I grabbed a seat from outside and she had her way. Oh yeah, then her family walked in. This is nothing compared to what was about to happen.

The food came and she complained about her needing to eat first and I guess the family got tired of listening to her so someone that came in in a wheel chair got up and started yelling at her. The wheelchair lady then proceeded to flip her shoes off and the big one followed. Then they both took off their hair and started punching each other. The lady in the wheel chair got back in it and stormed out with all of the family and told the big one to walk home because she was "too fat to get in the back of her car." They left everything, food, gifts, cake, etc. and never came back. I felt bad for the kid whose birthday it was.

All in all I fully enjoy a show with my food but not when it comes at the cost of $200 in tokens to get a parachuting alien and the safety of children. Never again.

Underrated place, sucks even more because of its location. Yes, it's in a ghetto neighborhood and surrounded by industrial buildings. It does have a few things going for it though.

Speedway - They have two go-kart tracks, one for kids, and one general. The laps get boring after a while, and the max speed is satisfactory. But it got boring after the third lap, and they leave you in there for about 10 minutes.
Mini golf - You better go somewhere else. Their golf offerings are too little.
Paddle boats - What a joke. It's the size of a medium swimming pool.
Lazer tag - Decent. At least there is enough room for 12 people. Too bad I always seemed to get the broken vest, despite the numerous times I have been in there.
Rock wall - Always slippery, for some reason. At least they let you try as many times as you like before giving up. The problem is your fingers will be extremely sore after about the third climb.
Jungle gym - Smaller than the kid's area at a McDonalds. Avoid like the plague.
Video arcade - The main draw. You don't have to pay for the arcade. It's basically free unlimited arcade time.
Food - A ripoff. They get you by the fact that the place is in the middle of nowhere, so their food, as bad as the quality is, is horribly overpriced.

Depending on who you go with, it may be fun. I enjoyed my short time here, but I wouldn't want to spend too long here. Workers are mostly teenagers, so don't expect stellar service. Come once or twice just to check it out though.

A game of putt-putt will run you $7.50, but you can play both 18 hole courses as long as you don't play the ball eating 18th hole. Both courses are kind of lame in comparison to the half dozen or so mini-golf courses I've been on in my life. Nothing is that fancy or insanely difficult.

Tuesday nights they have unlimited everything for $12. If we had gotten there earlier I would have done that. Since we got there 90 minutes prior to closing it was pretty empty. That was a plus. The golfing experience was kind of a letdown, next time I won't let my friends pick the place.

This place has to be the worst family fun center I've ever been to.  What kind of lame manager decided that combining the food and attraction lines would speed things up?  And I've never seen so many undisciplined kids running around.  Nevermind the fact that i had 5 kids taunting me as I prepped for a clutch putt (that I missed, crumbled under pressure, sad), but it was just a huge mess everywhere.  I don't think I saw a single person in charge older than a high schooler.  Ridiculous.

And this isn't even including that absolutely HORRIFIC stench coming from the bathroom area.  It smelled like some kid had puked and then dropped a deuce on the floor all at the same time.  Made for some miserable air hockey.

I don't care if this is the only family fun center in all of Torrance, no person should ever subject themselves to such poor service/attractions.

I met my first "really great guy that I left for a loser" here in high school. The first of would- be- many but I didn't know that. If only I knew what I wanted, he would be the ideal guy. He was kinda adorable.. reading passages to me from his favorite book, supportive, and ambitious. Funny the things you remember.

Anyway, I used to come here and play Dance Dance Revolution and the arcade games. I like mini golf but I have no aim so I always lose and it must be a freaking curse - I always hit my ball in the water. Every single effin time.

They have laser tag too but I always lose. Cuz I told you... i have no freakin aim.

If you are him or know of this poor boy, can you let him know I'm sorry?

I only came because my niece's birthday party was here. Yeah, I spent a lot of money on tokens, but it was worth it since all the kids were having a blast. They have a great selection of video games and a lot of activities for the tykes. The way their eyes would light up when the tickets would spout out of the games... it cracked me up. The staff was helpful and efficient as well. It's a good place to take the kids, if you have enough $ for all the tokens they demand.

My first and last time visiting Mulligan's.  Went with my kids.  At least 20% of their arcade games were marked as "out of order."  We tried another 4 machines that just ate my money but didn't work.  Played laser tag, and the vest didn't work.  6 people playing had the same problem.  The batting cage my son tried didn't work.  There is one counter and lineup for tokens and food.  I waited 30 minutes just to get change - twice!   They don't give refunds and there is nobody on the floor to help.  Finally, the ticket counter machine was broken.  It ate all my kds' tickets and did not count them.  I couldn't find anyone to tell and I didn't want to wait in line another 30 minutes.  The go-karts were okay and the mini golf wasn't bad, but extremely crowded, as was the entire place.   Mulligan' is a very poorly run business that appears to have nobody looking after it.

Mulligan is a place where parents bring their kids to have large parties, and where parents bring their kids to let them run around crazy. There has to be a place to do these things in the world, and this happens to be it. Fear it. Expect it. Respect it. No, I'm just kidding, you don't have to respect anything about this place. It will drive you crazy if you're a normal uninitiated person. But I must say the go-karts are very cool in all their lawnmower-y puttputt-tastic 3 mph glory. There are batting cages, a minigolf course, lazer tag, and an arcade. I think they may even have a climbing wall. I haven't tried the food but it looks pretty mediocre. If you're planning on doing several activities, you might want to consider one of the value pass options that gives you 3 or 4 activities for a slightly discounted price. I think they may have a driving range, too. Parking can be a hassle when they're busy. You might get stuck at the far end of the lot and have to huff it.

Call me a 7 year old trapped in a 23 year old body, but this place is great!  Mind you, I suck at miniature golfing, go karting, and laser tag, but I still have a great time.  Also, aside from the peak hours there is hardly a wait (but still a respectable crowd).  I've been going here since I was 12 and don't plan on stopping any time soon!

This place is terrible, i hate it. I used to love it back in my kid and teen days, but it's changed so much since then. This place sucks most definitely it's so boring and so crowded now a days. It's packed with ghetto people that just makes the experience worse than it already is. They even took out all of their money making arcade cabinets, how can they take out INITIAL D VER 1, 2, AND 3 PLUS PUMP IT UP. OMG those were the machines that made the most money for them, me and my friends used to come here every weekend just to play those games, and hang out with the rest of the locals, this place used to be THE SPOT TO BE on the weekends, people would come from all around LA just to race against the locals on initial D, i seriously cannot believe what this place has turned out to be. I thought me and my friends would still be going here once we turned into adults but i guess not, this place sucks and i will not be going here anymore anytime soon, at least until they put pump back in or get initial d. I spent over $500 at this place during my whole time going here and it was a total waste. What happen to the good old days? i really don't know.

What a disappointment.  This is the worst "family" fun center ever!!!  It's a PUNK center.  It took 20 minutes to buy tickets, you have to wait in the food line.  The lazer tag takes 2 hours (no exaggeration) because it's just a disorganized, packed room of people with no order or system to it.  The racetrack does allow bumping.  They allow it before the race starts, during the race and pulling in to park.  There are no adults working here, and the security guards stayed outside in 1 corner chatting the entire day.  When we asked for the miniature golf scorecards we were rudely told we were supposed to get'em when we came in!  This place is just a free-for-all for teenagers.  These teenage employee's allow the other teenagers to do and say whatever they want.  The language is indecent for children to be around.  Some of the juvenile delinquents in this place are probably hanging out and causing trouble here because their parents didn't want them at home either, actually they probably didn't want them at all.  What a bunch of punks!!!
