Muir Hanna Vineyards wine tasting room is located in downtown Sonora at Washington & Bradford.
Why drive to Napa & Sonoma when you can taste and support local winerys
Free wine tasting.....I'm there! I didn't catch the names of the two guys that were working here but they were very friendly and knowledgeable of the wines. We got to taste 6 different wines. They have fruit and crackers to wash your palette after each wine.
They also sell dipping oils.
I will definitely come here again the next time I'm in Sonora.

My first experience of going to a wine tasting was excellent.
I walked in and was greeted by a nice man, he poured me a taste of a wine and gave me info on each wine I tried. I must say they have the best Chardonnay I have EVER tasted. I came home with a bottle or Chardonnay and Merlot. When i got home and the Chardonnay was gone I realized that I should have bought a case of it. I will definitely be back soon for more!
The gentleman that served us in Sonora was a great guy. the Alpenglow is by far one of the most unusual wines I have tasted, and would highly recommend to everybody.

History
Established in 1999
Our grapes are grown organically and sustainably in the Oak Knoll region of Napa Valley. The vineyard owner is the great-grandson of John Muir, and his son is the wine maker. They continue to foster a relationship with Yosemite through their wines and work with preservation organizations.
Meet the Manager: Steve G.
Steve is the guy who runs our tasting room in Murphys. In addition, he is responsible for maintaining a relationship with Yosemite National Park and other wilderness areas. He loves his job!
