Much Kneaded Massage

Andrew at Much Kneaded does an amazing job. Customer service is top notch, messages are responded to in proper time, and he does a great job of making you feel welcome and comfortable.

The storefront is nice, but I believe it to be by appointment only-so be sure to call ahead! Much Kneaded offers a variety of massage types ranging from the traditional Swedish massage to sports massage to hot bamboo massage and everything in between. It's easy to find a massage that suits you for how many options are offered.

Andrew runs monthly specials that you receive when you sign up for his newsletter, and his pieces are unbeatable by anyone else in the area.

I really can't recommend Much Kneaded enough. At a time when large scale or chain massage parlors are all that's known, Much Kneaded brings a welcome, local option to the area.

The location was right across from the river and parking was adequate. The room is what you would expect...soothing color, low light, pleasing fragrance, soothing music. I ordered a bamboo massage because I have had several on cruise ships and I thought this would be the same. It was not and this massage was not for me.

My masseuse, Andrew Deca, was not very attentive to my needs. I went in asking for help with my shoulders and neck. He massaged all over my back, with the exception of the area I needed help with. He began on my leg and I had to ask him to go back and work on the area he avoided.

His touch was too light for me. I tend to like a medium touch but he had very little pressure. I asked him to go harder but it had no effect on his pressure.

A light massage may be great for some people. I was just hoping for the bamboo massages like they have on cruise ships where they use moderate pressure and smooth out the knots. I sought out the massage to help with the knots in my neck but there was no change in them and my wallet was $132 lighter.
