Wow, do not be misled by attractive women in the Admissions office! There are not enough women in science and engineering anyway, so come to school here if you want an education and are good at finding your own distractions. I graduated in 2001 and since then my program was nixed to a night program as MSOE is trying to be mainstream and teach theory-based curriculum by PhD's instead of promoting what it's more often and well known for which is a hands-on and practical, industry-based experience in the classroom. It's not what you learn but whether you can communicate that knowledge and apply it... Depending on which program you wish to study, other colleges and universities may offer better or more affordable options - however, they may not - if you do, find a way to live outside the dormitories, they are probably still just horrible.
