Mario did a good job cleaning my studio in nob hill i had lived in for 3 years. the place had never really been cleaned while i lived there and when they left it was good as new. A couple of very minor things that i feel like i have to mention but would not deter me at all from hiring him again were:
1. they left the light on in the kitchen and I didn't get back there until Monday morning meaning that the light was on in the kitchen for an entire weekend, kind of a waste of energy. and in all fairness i guess i should have gone after they finished cleaning.
2. i was never mailed or emailed an invoice as i was promised. Both very minor things and i can easily recommend MRM to all my friends and family. -

We used MRM for a post-construction clean. The bottom line is they didn't do a very good job. It was a bunch of dudes with little attention to detail that required a lot of supervision in order to do a passable job. But at the end of the day, there was still sawdust on shelves and in crevices, debris in the middle of the bathroom floor, residue on counters, streak marks on windows and the like. The kicker is that the construction was new bathrooms and refinishing wood floors, so it's not like we even had dirty tile and mold and grime to begin with. A really good vacuuming and dusting was all that was needed. According to Ariana, Mario's daughter who manages the office I believe, they weren't even going to bring a vacuum until we asked them, apparently (really, sweeping is how people still clean these days?).
I expressed my disappointment to Mario in an email the night of the cleaning and never heard back from him. I'm a little surprised actually, since he knew we found him on Yelp and it stands to reason that we would subsequently Yelp our experience.
I also note that we specifically told them to use Bona on the floors, and Mario confirmed that Bona is all they always use. I reiterated the importance of this since the floors were newly refinished and not yet cured. Thank goodness my husband was there to watch them because the guy cleaning the floor was about to dilute the Bona with water - you never do that with Bona, it is ready to use and the point is that you do NOT use water on wood floors.
For $350, totally not worth it. -

There goes our security deposit. In July my flatmate and I tired of our squalor, called upon MRM for a thorough purging of our fairly large Victorian flat.
In the appraisal visit, very personable Mario took a look and estimated $215 including "complimentary" steam vacuum of the carpeted loft bedroom. The end cost was $250.
We explained how we cared less about the kitchen. However when they were "done", they had thoroughly cleaned our refrigerator and oven, but only mopped two of 8 rooms. The hardwood flooring in one of the rooms was permanently damaged by chemicals that spilled out of their mop bucket.
MRM refused to refund, refused to clean the rest of the house, and refused to compensate for the damage.

Had Mario and his MRM team Gustavo and Oscar out this morning to clean the carpets. I'd been fostering dogs for a few months and there have a few "accidents" along the way. So now that all the dogs have new homes, time to clean the Oriental carpets.
Mario and the guys showed up on time, unloaded their really good rug cleaning equipment and went to work. An hour later the carpets were smelling fresh as a spring day. They paid close attention to stains and didn't even have to be told where they were -- they are on the ball.
Great experience with pleasant people with a family run SF business. Much more pleasant to deal with than the big franchise chains who have the same equipment and skills but charge more. Highly recommended Yelpers. -

Everything seemed like these guys would be great - great reviews, a recommendation from someone else, and even the initial phone call with them was nice and helpful...
This morning, I waited around for 45 minutes, making myself very late for work while I waited for the crew. I finally got in touch with Mario, and he had no record of the appointment. His daughter later left me a voicemail saying she thought she had informed me that they no longer clean lived-in apartments and had cancelled my appointment. I never got this voicemail, yet I did get a confirmation call from her that the scheduling was ok, so I'm very confused, and really, pretty pissed at this point. I am hosting a party at my house tomorrow and really did want my carpets cleaned and apartment in top shape today. Now it's too late to even book someone else for the job. -

I had MRM clean a rental unit berber carpets that were horribly stained with animal urine and Lord knows what else plus steps. Now mind you, I was doubtful that they would be able to get the stains out because previous attempts by other companies including Chem Dry people were unsuccessful. Or the stains would get out and then come back. I was amazed that he was able to get it out--they look like new carpets! Plus, they added an additional protectorant for wear.
I also had them buff out the hardwood floors. They were great--courteous, on-time and were meticulous on the cleaning. Would definitely use them again and am thinking about using them for move-out cleaning as well. -

Wish I could've had a chance to have a great experience with these folks. I called over a week ago, and didn't want to leave a voicemail because there was only a robot-voice telling me the number I called. Waited until I could get ahold of someone, and finally did on the third try. Angelina said she'd be happy to schedule a walk-through and would call me back. Going smoothly, she called me the next day, but I missed the call while at work. Called back about an hour after.
That was it. I never heard from them again.
I called again a four business days later, reminding them of my call and leaving my number on the voicemail.
Tried the alternate number, left a voicemail.
One week after I missed their call still no trace. Where did they go??
I was genuinely looking forward to using their services, and am disappointed I have to find somewhere else. -

I had my ceiling repaired by people who left without cleaning up the white powder from the drywall job. I could write with my finger on the furniture due to how much dust was left.
I YELPED and thanks to all of those who wrote before me I found this excellent service! Mario came out to do an on-site estimate. We arranged to have the work done while I was out of town due to the urgency of needing the rooms cleaned. He phoned me after the job was done and called again after I returned to the city to be sure I was satisfied with the work.
Mario was so flexible in working with me and my neighbor to accommodate my schedule. His crew did a great job. They were left alone to get the work done and did an amazing job.
I would highly recommend him to anyone. Their work is superb; they handled everything with such good care. And I can't recall the last time I had such good customer service. -

I recently moved and did not have enough time to clean my apartment. I found MRM Professional Cleaning Services to clean my apartment spotless. I met with Mario and his team to let them know what I needed to be done. They cleaned the apartment very efficiently, and thorough. I had hard wood floors and Mario suggested using BONA, which made the wood floors shine like new. I DEFINITELY RECOMMEND MRM PROFESSIONAL CLEANING SERVICES!

i have used Mario at MRM twice to clean my white carpets. both times they did an amazing job and made them look like new. we have a 2 year old little girl and so her carpet in particular had many stains from milk and snacks. It's now perfectly white.
Both times they were super easy to work with and this last time, Mario coordinated directly with my house cleaner so that i wouldn't have to be there to let them in. Thank you so much! -

Had Mario in to clean the commercial carpet in our showroom and once again he did an incredible job! I was worried that the black stains wouldn't come out of the pale carpet but it looks new again and you really can't beat the price.

This couldn't have come at a better time as just a week after Mario did the job, it started pouring! The rain is beading up on the wood just like it should. The decks are protected, look great, and we're all set for a few years to come.

Good, fast, and cheap? Yes!
I used to work as a carpet cleaner, so I know what questions to ask and what to listen for when someone is selling me services. I shopped around before deciding to go with MRM to clean my two-bedroom apartment. The owner, Mario, immediately struck me as someone who knew what he was doing.
Mario also showed me that he actually wanted my business, unlike some other companies. He didn't act put out by being offered work like some of his competitors did (I was actually no-showed twice by another company that has a fancy website and an 800 number - I guess they must have enough work).
Mario was on time for the estimate. We had a thorough and knowledgeable discussion of what needed to be done, and he gave me a very fair estimate. He and his crew were on time for the work. The job was done quickly, done right, and the price stayed the same.
I highly recommend MRM to anyone looking for a professional, reliable, trustworthy, and fairly priced cleaning service. -

Mario and his crew were fantastic. They arrived on time, were courteous and very professional. Their thorough clean out move included the interiors of all of our closets and cupboards, fridge, stove, granite counter tops and stainless steel appliances. I would totally use their services again, though I plan to never leave our new abode.

These guys are great. I got in touch with them right away, they were able to come when I needed them without question and they did a great job on our move out cleaning. The minimum estimate was exactly what we charged and there were no hidden costs. They also assemble furniture, paint, complete move in / out cleanings, regular cleanings and others. We will use them again.

Mario is absolutely terrific! Tell him what you need and he will tell you exactly how he'll take expert care of it. If you like dealing with truly nice, professional people... look no further than Mario and MRM Cleaning Services. They are even stringing Christmas lights for one of my top clients. So whatever you need... just let him know. If they can't do something, I'm sure he would let you know. ...But I have yet to encounter that situation.

I am so incredibly impressed with Mario and his team. When I first called Mario, I mentioned that I found him on Yelp and was looking for a cleaning service that would do a complete move out cleaning for a very picky landlord. He was enthusiastic and assured me that he and his crew could handle the job. Mario is completely professional and really knows his stuff. Come day of the cleaning, Mario and his team arrived early and got to work right away. The end result was more than we could have hoped for. I highly recommend Mario and his team.

Another 5 star review for Mario. He came to my apartment today for a thorough cleaning after my roommate of 4 years moved out. He was very professional, even calling to tell us he would be 15 minutes late, and everything was beautifully clean when he left. The minimum quote for the job we had discussed on the phone was exactly what he ended up charging, ie there were no "hidden" costs or fees. I will definitely use MRM Cleaning Services again.

The bathroom was recently completed for renovations and there was dust everywhere so I relied on feedback from other yelp reviews to find a reliable and affordable housecleaner. I called Mario and from our telephone conversation I felt completely comfortable and set up an appt. He brought 5 workers and within 2 hours the place looked great! The hardwood floors sparkle again and the place is dust free! The cleaning solution even smells nice:) Best of all, Mario is professional, a super nice guy and looks out for his workers. I absolutely would recommend him and I look forward to working with him again!

Mario did an excellent job cleaning my apartment when I moved out. His crew was very professional. They managed to clean all the rust stains from the carpet underneath my couches. They cleaned all kitchen appliances and the bathroom completely. I would highly recommend their service.
