I am very rarely in this neighborhood, but I was at a meeting at an office near here and we had a 30 minute lunch break and an acquaintance suggested I try it. Busy, busy, busy and really badly organized - the kids at the counter couldn't figure out when to charge (before you get the sandwich? after? while you're waiting? after you eat it?) and couldn't quite do the math on the prices, but they were nice and the sandwiches very generous and tasty. Great BLT with avocado, LOTS of bacon and avocado, everything was really fresh. I doubt I'll ever be back in that area but if I am & need a not-so-fast sandwich, I'd stop here.

We visited here last weekend. I LOVE pickles so I really wanted to like this place. I visited their website and the sandwiches looked good.
When we walked in I was overwhelmed by the smell of burnt plastic and my appetite ran and hid. There were movie posters all over the walls and loud punk music playing. There were two teenage kids with hair all in their face working the counters.
I was turned off by the atmosphere so I changed my mind about eating there. My boyfriend asked for a to-go menu (they didn't have any) and we left. The girl working through her hands up in the air and made a loud and annoyed sigh before we were even out the door.
I am giving the benefit of the doubt, with 3 stars, because I didn't actually try the food.
I will try another Mr. Pickles someday, but not this one. This is the down fall of franchising.

It's a nice little place. Love their menu..you have so much to choose from.. and they have unique names for their sandwiches. I tried the Hang Loose sandwich - hot pastrami with cream cheese and avocado and bacon. It's really good!!! The prices are okay. The service was not bad. Definitely a better place to have lunch than Subway's or Quizno's. The downside is that when I used my debit card, they charged me an additional 79 cents for it. I just don't like it when they do that. Every single establishment should accept debit or credit cards and should not charge customers for it...that's customer service!
