Fucking A!
I love this place.
$1.50 PBR's on tap. How can you beat that??
Add that to the free delicious popcorn, and enterting this place basically pays for itself.
The bartenders are cool, the people here always seem to be having a good time (the most obvious sign of a good place), and there's fun live music.
What else is there to say? Mozzi's is the shit!! -

The first thing I noticed was the wide age range in this place! It feels, for the most part, dive-ey, but I enjoyed it. The live band was great and got the majority of people up and on the dance floor.
The group I came with are all SoCal residents, so it was a nice change of pace to be among the locals of Cambria! With the nice bartenders, the inexpensive beer, the pool table, free popcorn and music... I couldn't ask for more of a relaxing Saturday night. -

Came here on a early Saturday night, staying at folks 2nd home. (I am coming from S. Cali)
Came around 8pm, recent Saturday.
Free Popcorn-
Beer of the month (always a special, we got Rolling rock for 2.50 all day/all nite)
Mixed drinks, beers were cheap.
One pool table, few TV's, one other table that looked like a pool table but it was for another game. Outside area in the back.
People VERY mixed LOL from "locals, nice, drunks, old, odd drunks, young locals"
The best way I could describe this place is a local, popular dive. Music was mixed from today's to some of the older locals music. When I mean older I mean like 50ish and above.
I would go back due to prices, locations, hours and people were cool. minus one guy lol -

Where the hell do you get a drink on the Central Coast? Well, Mozzi's, of course! I was at a corporate event at Hearst Castle on a Monday. It ended somewhat early...and so did most of Cambria! I was still a bit hungry and eager to see what else there was in the area. I only get up here every five years or so!
Enter Mozzi's. Great, friendly vibe, nice bartender, free popcorn, fairly clean. They even have pot pies from Linn's across the street! Missed out on that, but I had some good pickled eggs and pretzels. Good TVs to catch football highlights. For the only place in town, it was pretty darn good! -

Walked by this place multiple times, without even thinking about coming here for drinks...what was I thinking!
This place is totally chill! Lots of space to mingle, sports channels, pool tables, old school video games, and cheap drinks!
We'll be stopping by on our next trip to Cambria! -

My girlfriend and I came to cambria for a little get away and on our first night we wanted a place to get some drinks. So I looked around online and found Mozzi's. The place has a friendly vibe so we felt real comfortable and not Intimidated since we weren't locals. The bartender was awesome!!!! Talked about the crap that they play on the radio and what happened to the good old metal. Unfortunately I don't remember his name :--( but I do remember he was Irish. The drinks were pretty stiff so my girl and I got pretty drunk but it was well worth the price. Yay cheap drinks!!!!! As for music luckily they had an internet Jukebox so I could find any song I wanted to listen to. If your visiting Cambria and looking for a drink make sure you drop by here, you wont regret it :-)

NEW UPDATE: RE-OPENING IN 2008 and it looks like the new owner Kelly, really has gotten into the spirit - go Kelly!

UPDATE: So sad. Camozzi's is currently closed. I am holding out hope that the new owners will reopen in the traditional Camozzi's fashion.

Let's give a shout out to Camozzi's Saloon - the best damn dive bar ever.
Let's take off our hats and have a moment of silence for Camozzi's Saloon - the lights are out and the party's over.
Camozzi's has closed it's doors and placed upon it a sign that says "New Owner". The five stars are for what once was and for what it should strive to be - live music, cowboys, cold beer, pac man, locals and wonderful pieces of art (nothing lights up a room like neon beer logos).
Love this place and hope to see it unveiled soon in all it 's dive bar splendor!
UPDATE: When they say that all good things must end, they didn't take into account the best damn dive bar ever. Yes, come mid 2008, we will see bar stools dusted, beer glasses full, the juke box bouncin' and the front doors open wide as Mozzi's Saloon celebrates their grand opening! Go Kellie! http://www.mozzissaloo...Listed in: Cambria

Stopped by Mozzi's (name changed) on our trip to Cambria. Talk about a place to people watch. It appeared to be the locals hang out during the day, people playing pool and having a few drinks.
Later that evening the band showed up and the place was jumpin with a mix of locals and vacationers. The dancing was wild, so much so I could only watch as a go go dancer went wild, clearing the floor. She was amazing. Something from a page out of 1960 if only a cage was available. Then there was what I dubbed "monkey man" who danced without moving his arms. They just hung by his side. I love it when people dance like no one is watching. It was a good evening. -

Cambria is a great town but it is not exactly a hot bed of activity. My girlfriend and i blew through this town and parked the motor home a few miles past here. Unhooked the Jeep and found this little gem. Mozzi's has a full cast of characters in there for sure. Our bartender was super cool. He is the big guy in the photo with me and my girl. Then the other photo is of the locals and one french dude on holiday. My favorite is when i put on "Beat it" by MJ on the Juke. Some toothless old dude came charging out of the head yelling ..."who played this , who played this?" Having no fear he was going to bite me, I raised my hand and he came over high fived me and started to moon walk and pop! Are you serious? Hell ya i liked this place! We had a blast. I seriously am looking for another run up the coast and want to do this place again without a doubt.

This place rocks! As soon as my wife and I walked here in, we knew we had found THE bar in Cambria.
This is a great locals hangout. Good selection of beer and wine(including a great zinfandel) plus they had a beer on special for $3/pint.
All the locals we chatted with were friendly and they all seemed down for a good time on a Saturday night.
We even came back later in the evening to hear some live music.
The band(classic rock) started around 9 pm and they were jamming! Great cover tunes and even threw in some grateful dead songs to make us stoners happy.
Mozzi's even has a little outdoor area out the back door great for smoking and/or fresh air if that is your thing.
No food is served here but they do sell potpies from across the street. They even heat them up for you. We did have one potpie towards the end of the evening and it was a darn good one at that.
Heather, one of the bartenders is awesome! We spent half our time talking to her and she was super cool.
Thanks Heather for the great conversations!
I don't know if and when we will make it back to Cambria...but if we do, Mozzi's will be our first stop! Maybe our last too! -

This is what a bar should be...cheap drinks, great atmosphere & friendly people. Unfortunately, Camozzi's is now closed, but I hear the new owners are going to eventually re-open this place under the name "Mozzi's". Let's hope that it keeps all the elements that made Camozzi's so special.

Cambria is one sleepy town, especially on weekday nights. We rolled in half past nine and couldn't find a single restaurant still serving. Almost threw our hands up and got dinner from the gas station, but took a chance at the last minute and dove into Mozzi's. Ok, it was the only spot still open on Main Street. But a great scene - you can tell it's where the locals gravitate. They played good music as we watched the pool game in the back and poured hot sauce over our chicken and beef pot pies ($5).
Check it out if you're in town for the night. -

Hey, we just had a great time at Mozzi's in Cambria. Happy Hour was perfect, great price and popcorn to boot. Mitchell, co-owner, was a gracious host and treated us to a Boiler Maker made with Root Beer Schnapps. Tasted just like A & W. When in Cambria you must visit Mozzi's. Once called Camozzi's the place holds Cambria's history. Sports on the TV too.

THE best bar in the state of California in my opinion. I proposed to my wife at this bar and I wouldn't have done it at just any bar. The place is steeped in history. If you like funky watering holes where you can knock back a few and then stumble out into a great little town, then you have to hit this place.
