We live right down the street, so we eat here a lot. We're Chinese food aficionados, and have ordered from pretty much every CF restaurant anywhere in a 15 mile radius. With the exception of the Chicken Fried Rice at China Wok on Harper in SCS, I can tell you that the *best* of this category of food is right here at Moy's.
The food is *always* fresh, quickly made and almost always includes a free side of bread or whatnot. The folks here are extremely nice - they're simply not tech savvy in any way.
Moy's is absolutely worth a try. No doubt. -

Ordered the Sesame Chicken to go.. Not very good.. the chicken was bland, dry and soggy.

Fast takeout, friendly staff. Huge portions.
That's the good news. The bad news is, the food was really bland. If you're in the mood for heaping piles of mediocre Chinese, this is the place for you. If you want something with any flavor, I would suggest looking elsewhere. -

Man, I don't know what those bad reviews were all about, this place rocked. Hot crispy egg rolls, a very tasty won-ton soup with lots of veggies and noodles and a sweet and sour sauce that was sweet and sour. The fried rice was flavorful. Most places in this area you can't tell the difference between white rice and fried except in the price this was goooooood. They even have hot tea for you while you wait for your order.

It seems like the quality of their food went down hill after their move. Their eggrolls used to be so good. I've found them excessively oily and soggy recently, and the beef dishes very fatty and overly salty
Pity.. -

Best Chinese on the Eastside (East of Gratiot).
Take out only and now located on Greater Mack across from St Joan of Arc. Open until 9PM; closed on Tuesdays.
My personal favorites are the egg drop soup, the dinner rolls, vegetable fried rice, sweet & sour chicken. Family owned and very friendly service. -

I am so picky about Chinese food and Moy's is about the only place I will go to for Chinese! I love their egg rolls and everything I have tried there. I really appreciate the rolls they provide with dinner too! Yummy!

Love Moy's. It is a shame they eventually were forced out of their old location and had to move and are now only take-out :(
Their food is delicious and the waitstaff (family owned and run) so nice! Best in the area for chinese food. -

Moy's is a small family owned Restaurant. It is carryout only, but even if you walk in the wait is only 5-10 minutes. The atmosphere was calm and relaxing-there is hot tea out for everyone to have while they wait for their food.
The portions were very ,very generous, and well worth the price of the dinner combo. With the dinner combo you get their soup (yum!), bread(fresh and soft), an egg roll(or spring roll), and your meal selection with friend rice. Seriously, I think my dinner weighed 5 or 6 pounds. I had the sesame chicken, and it was obviously fresh, very tender, with a perfect amount of flavor. -

Oh how I miss Detroit Chinese food! Moy's is another classic. Slightly more expensive than my all time favorite Dynasty, but closer if you are in GP. The almond chicken is fantastic and the hoisin and crispy noodles are as well.

The food is good American-style Chinese food. Very reasonable prices and large portions. Never had anything bad from Moy's and I go there quite a bit.

For a takeout joint, this was a welcome surprise. The rice with seafood was more than filling and tasted great.
