Review from Ambriss R.

It's hard to find a good hairstylist, but once you find one you like you stick with her. I've been going to Ashley for about 3 years and she always does a great job. I like trying new things and she is always is up to the challenge. My hair is also processed and thick and she specializes in reparative treatments that do wonders! If you visit Moxy, see Ashley R.

Review from K A.
Sacramento, CA
The last haircut I got was at the Paul Mitchell Academy, and I was traumatized! But the time finally came to chop my mop, so I walked into Moxy. Trish was able to help me right then and there, which is AWE-SOME. She was really nice and interesting (in a good way!). She gave me great tips on blow drying my hair and product suggestions (without being pushy!), and the cut was just what I asked for (keep the length, clean up the dead ends, add some style at your discretion). She was also happy to give me recommendations on everything, from house hunting to her wax lady.
For $48, it was a very pleasant, quick in, quick out visit. I will definitely go back! -

Moxy Hair is a gem. Beside the bustling freeway of Sacramento lies a truly talented salon. The owner is very serious about your hair. The sylists are fluent in hair-talk and the products truly peform for themselves.

Paula and I started off as friends at the Bonn Lair (see my review!) then after I complimented her on her hair (it's short & platinum today, but always fabulous), I found out she's a hair stylist. She's done such a great job with my mousy mop. She convinced me that bottle blond is not a good look, added lowlights, and understood my plea to keep me from looking like a frump. My hair is now far from frumpy and I can't wait to go spend some more quality time with her. I deducted a star for the seriously uncomfortable shampoo sinks -- I actually left looking gorgeous but in need of a neck massage!

Review from Larina M.

The already cramped shop is separated into little mini sections, further shrinking the tight space. I don't understand this disjointed salon. I got two great haircuts here, but not my girl seems to have left (with about half the staff, it appears). Disappointing to say the least. I won't be back.
