Movement and Play last year for me:  Wake up casually and refreshed.  Go for a little hike.  Eat wonderful breakfast.  Spend the day soaking up warm sun and even warmer people as I learned tons of new things - dancing, flow arts, massage, yoga, hooping, etc., etc.  Jump in the pond to refresh.  Eat nectarines.  Wonderful dinner.  Put on warmer clothes.  Dance to awesome sounds and watch fire.  Soak in wood burning hot tub.  Go to sleep happy.

Even my boyfriend (who is NOT a dancer/spinner/yogi/flow arts kinda guy but decided to go last minute) had an amazing time and was almost more excited about going again this year than me!

The Movement Play Microfestival is a 3 day summer camp out that brings together the elements of larger music and arts festivals:  great live and electronic music, interesting art, inspiring performances, and tons of movement and play workshops.

With less than 200 people, the MPM experience is much different than that of a larger festival; with a smaller group size, people connect more, relax more, and experience a great sense of ease.

If you like to move and play, this event is for you!

Movement Play rocks! Amazing lovely talended peeps, free movement/yoga/relationship classes, incredible performances & DJ's, wonderful food, and overall one of the best festivals every year for me. If you love dancing, learning, connecting and playing, you won't want to miss it!

Two years ago, I started envisioning a deeper connection with flow...dance...my soul...my body. In that process, the Movement Play Microfestival entered my life. Just hearing the name was all I needed to say yes to the event. After the experiencing the very first Movement Play Microfestival, I was blown away  by the experience. This experience propelled a deeper connection into a beautiful community that I hold closely to my heart. Wonderful and nurturing food, movement workshops, warm weather, a gorgeous facility, hot tubs, beautiful people, and more. I highly recommend attending this event. If you are feeling it, give it a shot. :)

I've been to no other festival like Movement Play! The small scale of it makes it such a sweet and special gathering. The people who come are down to earth and love to have fun, and many are very talented in various movement arts. There is always great music and never a dull moment. It's absolutely a nourishing and relaxing weekend too. I met some wonderful people while volunteering on a kitchen shift, enjoying coffee in the sunshine in the morning, and just lounging on the lawn. There were some awesome hoop & staff performances in the evening, and Beats Antique and Zoe were amazing!

This is one of my favorite festivals all year.  The space is amazing. The event is well organized.  It's an intimate environment.  At the end of the festival I felt like I'd met everyone. Also, the food is amazing.  Unlike other festivals, I leave MP feeling healthier.
