Mountasia is a cool place if you're looking for an hour or so of entertainment. It provides a variety of activities at reasonable prices .The go-karts are always fun, the batting cages are a steal at only a dollar for 20 pitches, and who doesn't like mini-golf? Of course there's a lot more to do. However, the years haven't been so kind on the place and its in dire need of some major restoration in terms of equipment and staff.
It seems almost everything is falling apart. The pitching machines at the batting cages jam very often, the golf course is getting old, a lot of the arcade stations inside are out of service and no ever seems motivated to fix them. The staff isn't quite helpful either seem unhappy most of the time.
Mountasia is still a fun place, but could be so much more if the owners restored it and give a new breath of life.

Ain't much more fun than drunken mini-golf!  Who ever cheats best wins!  Of course you can't buy booze here, so you need to arrive trashed (luckily for me my gf is always my DD).

I also have a soft spot for the batting cages.  The go-karts would be more fun if you could be a bit more reckless with them, but I don't hold that against Mountasia.  Saftey first...I guess.

Fair video game selection here.  Apparently it's fun to watch me make an ass of myself playing Dance Dance Revolution, but I prefer playing the shooting games more than anything.

Mountasia provides a great assortment of things to do. There are games, bumper boats, mini golf, batting cages and even a Farrell's Ice Cream Parlor. It used to be a lot of fun.

The place has gone downhill over the past couple years to the point that we do not go anymore. The golf courses are in serious disrepair. After a year or so of being dry, they did finally get the waterfall/stream filled with water. The course lacks all "fun." There are no windmills or obstacles, just very basic holes with peeling fake grass and dirty white carpet to simulate sand. For golf, go out to the mini golf course in Ventura.

The bumper boats are fun as are the go-carts, though the 52" height for drivers might keep many kids off of the go-carts.

The games are seriously overpriced. Many cost 3 and 4 tokens to play for a minute or two, this adds up quickly. There have been several times we went that a large percentage of the games were not working.

The staff really could care less. What should they expect when they only hire a bunch of kids to run the place?

We ate once at the Farrell's and tried to on two other occasions. I get better service at Denny's. The food was very poor. On two occasions, we tried to eat there and had to wait forever to be seated despite having empty tables (all of them were dirty and had to be cleaned). When we were seated, it was impossible to get someone to take our order and after waiting long enough, we just went elsewhere.

Not bad for a small get-away/ bonding moments with your family.  Nothing much to do inside except for some arcade games and laser tags.

Mountasia what happened!?!? This used to be the kick ass place when I was younger and I came back a while ago and its just eh. I mean, the bumber boats is pretty cool, but its just not that cool anymore. :( I had the pizza and it wasn't as good as I remembered, but I was in the arcade the whole time... kinda disappointing.

Ok, so I agree this place is fun. I've been here several times and I even had fun in the lazer tag with my son. But the problem is it is a rip off! They only give you 3 tokens for a $1.00, and the activities are not cheap if you want to do more than one. I only think this place is worth it when you have a coupon. They usually have them on their website or in LA family/parent for buy one attraction get one free. So this is the only way I will take more than one kid here (my son usually wants to take a friend or 2.) Otherwise, by the time you are done you have spent a fortune. So for fun factor I give it a 4. But value for the money 2.

Great place to take your kids (or siblings) for the day and let them tire themselves out.  Food though is gross.  Fries were either not cooked all the way through or were burnt and the pizza well it was just disgusting.

When you compare the quality of Mountasia to say Mulligans in Palmdale there is no competition. Mountaia is spotless three times the size and they give you more tickets for your bucks. The kids can actually get a nice prize. The estabilshment has Farrels Ice Cream Parlor attached to Mountasia and if you grew up in the San Gabriel Valley you probably experienced this great Ice Cream Parlor at least once. If not, your are in for an ole style surprise it's a time warp into the roaring 20's It's  a nice drive out of the smog if you live in L.A. and a nice drive south if live in the Antelope Valley.
