Mountain Lakes
3 reviews for Mountain Lakes
My grandparents has had a membership for like 46 years so my family have been going here since I was a kid. I know it has changed over the years, because they used have tons of events plans every weekend.
Maybe its the economy, and they are just waiting for it to pick it back up. But I remember they used to have magic shows, and like a carnival type thing, and swap meets. I really enjoyed it when I was a kid.
But I don't think now they have the funding for it, but everyone is really nice there.

Are you a happy camper? I want to be but I guess I grew out of it a long time ago. This past weekend I stayed here at a cabin with a friend that has a membership. They have 2 man made lakes, one with trout and one with catfish. They also have a restaurant/bar, several pools, an arcade, paddle boats and miniature golf. If you have an RV they have hook ups complete with cable TV.
It was HOT HOT HOT HOT! I mean sweaty miserable hot! It is located on the base of the San Bernardino Mountains. Members pay a one time membership, yearly upkeep and RV's and Tents are free and cabins are really cheap. If you get the national membership you can use any of the campgrounds that they belong to nationwide.
Uh...my son had fun so that is all that matters. We did see the meteor shower on Sunday night and that was pretty cool
