You're on the road in 20 minutes. No dealer BS and you've got the exact tire you wanted, mounted correctly and carefully balanced. You are encouraged to watch the whole process. This is great for people who like to do their own bike work but don't have the equipment, skills, or patience for tires.

MotoTireGuy aka Robbie aka Best Tire Repairman absolutely lives up to its name.
I figured when I first rolled up the driveway that this would be someone's personal garage, and what do you know, it is. But once you're inside, you'll know for sure that Robbie has all the equipment that is needed to get your motorcycle tires switched out carefully and efficiently. Just seeing him go through the process never skipping a step and carefully inspecting the tire once its on the rim already shows his attention and skills.
And with this process, it definitely saves you money on the by just purchasing the tires yourself online so that you know exactly how much you're paying for the market price and having it shipped to Robbie's address. After that, you're just paying for the labor and disposal of the tires which is more than fair for the amount of work and precision Robbie puts into it. For $84 total, its a damn good deal. -

Can't say enough good things about my experience. First and foremost, you get to save money using Internet commerce and get the work done by a local pro, right in front your eyes. Second, Robbie took the time to adjust a few things on my bike that needed adjustin', and then explained to me why they're important and how to keep 'em in tune. And lastly, Robbie was a heck of a nice guy. Like I said, I can't recommend him enough!

Took my Ducati Streetfighter there yesterday to change both tires. Robbie is very friendly and offered great service. I had the tires shipped directly to him and he called (and texted me) me as soon as they got to his shop. Called him back and he scheduled me for the same day. Would definitely recommend.

Robbie is great guy who has a passion for motorcycles (and tires), and it shows! As a relatively new rider, the thing I appreciated the most about my visit with Robbie was the fact that he took time to show me what he was doing and explain to me why he was doing it (adjusting chain tension, reading tire wear, basic suspension info, etc.). For sure all of my future tire purchases will be ordered on-line and sent directly to Robbie's shop for installation!

Robbie is a stand-up guy. I had a slow leak in my rear tire and was debating whether to pay the premium for tires at a shop and throw in the labor but when I read all the great reviews of this shop's service, I had to give it a shot.
Ordered tires online which were a great deal and kept in touch with Robbie. Had the tires shipped to his place and when they arrived, all I had to was ride my bike in and he took care of the rest. Also looked at some of the basic upkeep of the bike and pointed out probable repairs I should make in the coming months.
I'd go back in a heartbeat and will probably be getting my tires replaced here from now on. -

Robbie came through again.
I've had some tires put on my moto a while back by Robbie and everything was done very smoothly and professionally.
Recently I had a flat tire with a nail stuck in it and I hit up Robbie's email at 9:00 at night and he gave me a response soon after to confirm a time for the next day. He came through and that's 2 sets of 5 stars from me.

Robbie (MotoTireGuy) is awesome. He had left a business card on my bike several months back so when it came time to get new tires I gave him a call. He helped make recommendations on what tires to consider and let me know how the process worked. I ordered a set of tires from http://motorcycle-supe... on Thursday, and they arrived straight to Robbie's garage on Monday. Robbie left me a message that they arrived and I called back to schedule an appointment. I was stoked to get something same day, especially since it was supposed to rain the rest of the week I wanted to get it done ASAP.
Robbie's garage is a chill environment, some good classic rock plays through an old stereo, there's a mini fridge w/ soda and water, posters and some chairs to wait in. Robbie is helpful and points out some maintenance recommendations or potential issues, lubes the chain, and checks your brake pads. He had a set of tires mounted and balanced in less than 45 minutes. Chattdd w/ Robbie for a few minutes afterwards until his next appointment arrived and then he helped jump start my bike since it wouldn't start due to a weak battery.
I definitely recommend MotoTireGuy w/ two enthusiastic thumbs up. I will refer all my rider friends and definitely go back when its time for more tires. -

So I emailed Robbie about putting on some new tires on my bike. But I wanted to learn how to do it with tire irons in the chance id have to change a tire on a track day or something...
Robbie was totally cool showing me how to do it that way and teaching me all sorts of little cheats and tips. Great guy to talk to, knowledgeable as all hell, awesome pricing. -

Robbie is great. When I called him on Monday, he walked me through the whole process of getting tires online. He's with me on the phone when I walked outside trying to figure out the sizes of my tires, than walked back home, went online and searched for the rear & front tires. He's still on the phone until I finalized the purchase and shipped the tires to his place. He emailed me on Wednesday morning to notify that he got my tires, I told him I'll come over with my bike within an hour, and luckily he's available. The process was quick (about 25 min/tire) and he knows I'm a new rider and need to learn a lot about bike maintenance. So he showed me how to check tire pressure, how to add air, how to lube my chain, what products to use, etc. I left his garage 1 hour later, I did a test ride at a nearby roundabout before hitting the road. Everything seems OK. It was painless and affordable. Another good find, thanks to Yelp.

i found Robbie by searching for tires changing services in SF and his garage happens to pop up near the top of Google search engine. Searching here on Yelp, i found out that he's got quite a Rep here. and i decided to take my bike there.
i follow the information he had on his website and bought tires from Cyclegear. (they had a promo on tires)
The Service in which I've gotten there is BEYOND FANTASTIC! besides being able to watch the tires changed right in front of me, i was able to learn little tips and tricks in which Robbie was more than happy to teach. I'm a fairly new rider and any info that i can soak up about my bike I'm more than happy to take, especially since he's a fellow CBR rider.
i showed up at his garage early. 10am, he barely woke up, but that was the only time that i could take my bike in. Despite just waking up he was able to complete my tire change with lube and chain adjustment in about 45mins. and that's with Robbie teaching me stuff about types of tires, tire pressure in which i should ride with, safe riding techniques, and how to break in my new tires.
overall completely satisfied with the service. he even offered me a soda. I'd surely recommend his service to all my riding buddies. -

I had previously had tires installed by Robbie when he was affiliated with Subterranean Cycles, so when it was time for a new rear tire I decided to go back to him at his new location on Urbano. His garage is fully equipped with a pneumatic lift, tire changer, compressor, air hoses etc.
I ordered my tires from Jake Wilson and had them shipped to Robbie's shop and he sent me a text message when they arrived. I arranged to come by at 5:00 p.m. and when I arrive he tells me to take a seat, offers me a soda and then quickly and expertly changed my tire, adjusted my chain, lubed it, checked my tire pressure on both tires, and then threw in a clutch adjustment, and checked out my front tire, which he indicated should be changed soon. The whole job including disposing of my old tire was $40. If you ride a motorcycle in San Francisco this is the place to get your tires mounted or repaired. -

Robbie is the best. i basically emailed him before i ordered my tires and he responded quickly. he told me to just send him the tracking number and he will follow it and call me when it arrives.
As soon as he got the tires were delivered he called me right away and we got the tires installed the same day. He runs his business out of his garage and it is legit. he has motorcycle rack and tire machine. He is super nice and super professional. He even gave me some advice on how to keep my bike in good working order. thanks robbie. definitely 5 stars. -

The best and cheapest motorcycle tire installation foreal! Why go anywhere else when you literally pay half for the same service
I had my tires shipped to him which I ordered by the internet. No tax and free shipping. Message me for the company and Ill gladly let you know. I let Robbie know a pair of tires were on their way to his house and he even asked me for the tracking number which I thought was very professional of him.
Robbie basically runs his business out of his garage. He has all the proper equipment for installation. He also really know what he was doing. He gave me tips on tire maintenance and proper air pressure. I was in and out of there in almost 30 minutes. He gave a free soda as I was waiting.
I definitely recommend Robbie. If you also need any other services, him and buddies can do it. -

A friend recommended Robbie to me as I needed some new tires on my '05 Repsol. Had an appointment at 6pm, I brought the wheels and new tires and he had them installed, balanced and ready to go in about 17 minutes flat! Very reasonable prices, very knowledgeable about bikes and tires and overall a very cool cat! Highly recommended!

Robbie happened to have an odd-sized and rare tire that I needed for my spanish two-stroke... he had it shipped down to San Jose for me with the quickness, and even bothered to follow up on tracking and let me know via email when it was scheduled to arrive. Wish I were closer so I could have him handle installs too. Anyway, he deserves your business.

sometimes, if you're lucky, you find people who's attitude to conducting their business is: first and foremost, help and advise your customers with all you've got.
even though i'm not even a customer of Robbie the MotoTireGuy yet, he just spent the past few days walking me through a bit of a bind i've been in with a flat bike tire, and finding a proper repair/replacement...he did this without trying to steer me toward himself, but rather with my safety and special situation in mind...this type of "customer" service is hard to come by these days, and he deserves the utmost of appreciation and respect for how he conducts his business...now i'm almost looking forward to my text tire replacement :)

Can't say enough about Robbie and his work....
With one phone call, Robbie explained how to have my new tires shipped directly to him ( he's a preferred installer with Motorcycle Superstore).
Placed order on a Wednesday morning, tires were shipped that day and arrived after noon on Friday, 2 days as promised, could not have been easier.
His garage/ home/ shop is located right off Ocean Avenue and Junipera Serra, so super convenient form Noe Valley/Mission/ Sunset/Outer Mongolia./Moscow, you name
Robbie gets too work immediately, literally the fastest tire mounting and balancing I have ever seen, and he even adjust chain tension and lubricates the chain.
This is guy is a total pro, fair pricing and GREAT SERVICE, will def recommend and use again, don't waste time with anyone else. -

Ack! The wear indicators on my tires remind me about Robbie. Great guy, fast turnaround and WSBK running while we chatted, that's what I remember about him. Last time I ended up sourcing my own tires from shops around the city (it was kind of a last minute emergency before a track day), rode over to his place with the tires around my stomach, was greeted by Robbie who promptly took care of my belabored red beast.
A bunch of my friends use him as well and none have ever had problems with the online process. I'll be doing that next time. Now, if only I can make it through the winter with these tires... gah. Doubt it. -

I found Robbie through Google, which pointed me to Yelp. I was looking for a new tire spontaneously and was wondering if MotoTireGuy could help. The answer was yes. Even though you typically order tires online for installation, Robbie had a great tire for me in his shop to install.
I drove to see him, and within a half an hour after our initial chat my bike was on the lift. Not only did Robbie do an excellent job, he is also a great and trustworthy guy. He made sure my front and back tires had the right pressures (which they didn't before my visit), and also made sure my chain was fresh and lubed.
Only advice to Robbie is to get a POS device to accept credit cards. A simple iPhone plugin (ala Square) could do the trick. -

I went to Robbie based on reputation only. He gets 5 stars for a reason.
Had my tires shipped to him and he emailed me when they arrived. I couldn't make it in for several days, but when I called him to check his availability he saw me within an hour. I rode over and he had my new tires mounted, balanced and had me back on the road in under 45 minutes. He even recommended a few adjustments to make on my bike and gave me some tips on maintaining my wheels and tires.

It's tough to find a place open and flexible on a Sunday, but when I got a nail through my rear tire last Sunday I found Robbie on Yelp. He was friendly, professional, even let me have the tow truck drop my bike at his place.
Because I hadn't had time to shop around he kindly went and picked up a replacement tube, fitted it and called me the next day when it was ready. Outstanding service for a very reasonable price. He even gave me tips on maintenance and how to save on future tire purchases. I could not recommend him highly enough. -

Robbie, the MotoTireGuy, is a cool down to earth dude, yet professional. I had a tire delivered to his place. He replaced my tire on a Sunday, which is pretty awesome. His prices are very competitive for the same, if not better, service that you'd get from a dealership or garage. He was very accommodating to my requests and quick to respond via email, text, and phone.
I will definitely be going here in the future for any tire replacement needs, and would definitely recommend his services. -

Awesome!
Order tires online, Robbie called me when they arrived.
Set up an appointment to have them fitted.
Rolled up on time for my appointment and in 30 minutes I am riding out on a new set of rubber on my r1200 GS Adv.
I have waited longer just to check in at other places to have work done on my bike, this was superb.
He takes pay pal so a couple of clicks on my iPhone and he has been paid.

Robbie's excellent customer service and wealth of information on motorcycle tires begins before you ride your bike into his garage. Robbie is quick to respond to emails, texts, and voice mail messages with thorough answers, solid advice, and, most importantly, the reassurance that you're dealing with a competent technician -- and you want that from the guy who will be servicing the part of your bike that keeps it rolling forward.
On his website, Robbie keeps an updated list of recommended tires and current online deals from various internet vendors. Basically, the tires listed are all more than good enough for all of us without corporate sponsorship and umbrella girls. This in itself makes the tire shopping process easy and painless.
Once your bike is in Robby's garage, the whole process is quick, professional, and worry-free.
I had my tires shipped to Robbie's place directly and within an hour of UPS notifying me that they were delivered, Robbie phoned to let me know that I could bring the bike in any time for installation. One hour later -- including the ride from my house to his -- my bike's got new tires and I'm good to go.
MotoTireGuy's got a solid five stars from everyone here, and, yes, they are deserved. -

HIGHLY Recommended! Very professional but more importantly completely honest. Needed tires replaced on my 600RR and was done hassle-free. Super flexible too! I originally had an appointment for the weekend but was jonesing to ride so I texted him if he was available. Even on such short notice, he fit me in that evening! Best part was the advice he gave me regarding my bike. I'm new and the suggestions he gave for a better ride was priceless. Now I'm getting my fix and it cost cost me pennies compared to some of these "paid-by-the-hour" kind of shops. Again, from one stranger to another who doesn't know Robbie personally, he's the real deal on moto tires... Ride safe!

I was running late heading out to Robbie's place on my Ninja 250 one Sat evening, arrived late, but Robbie was totally cool about it, after I apologized like 3 times. :) Anyways, he's pretty cool, offers you a brew or soda to drink to make you comfy, and gets to work right away on installing the tires. he also checked/adjusted the slack on my chain and after 30 mins, my bike was ready to go. Will come back here whenever I need new tires installed on my bike. A+ service.

Really like Rob's operation - keeps the overhead down. He saved me $75 off of my normal garage's price for the installation of two tires. Had a very flexible schedule and got both installed in under an hour. Great guy, I'll definitely be back.

For those of you that have worked with MotoTireGuy (Robbie) before you'll know he does 5 star work . Quick turn around for tires for my '05 CBR 600. Initially I wasn't sold on the option to order tires through the suggested internet vendors on his website but the online process went just fine, like ordering a DVD or book from Amazon, and the prices are fair/comparable. Robbie also likes to talk shop and has given me good tips on other parts of my bike and on riding in general. I'll be back in January to check out his new shop. I know, I know, I should probly get my tires done before the rain season - don't give me a hard time ;)
