The menu is ginormous and the food is all fantastic. Double-props to the best chocolate chip pancakes in the Chitown metro area (mini-chips are the key!). The spaghetti is off the charts delicious and you will definitely have enough for at least one day of leftovers. The soups are especially amazing, try the Chicken Rosemarina when they have it.

Plates are a little pricey, so it's not an everyday place.

There is PLENTY of parking here, 2 lots and street space.

I agree that since the smoking ban, this is a much nicer place to visit. You can still head over, grab a drink and watch a game or the news on one of their many overhead tvs.

The service can be a little spotty, the waitresses might be good, might be bad, but the bussers are usually right on cue.

It is like so many other sit-down, low-cost joints in the suburbs.  Pretty big menu, offering the Greek-owned/run diner staples like omelets, skillets, burgers, and such.
Food isn't really very good, and the service is almost always annoying- whether it be because they are rude or complacent or just obnoxious.
About the only thing I like about this place is the tree that is inside the place right at the entrance.  Doesn't add anything to the dining experience, but is cool to look at when you come in or leave.

I'm so pissed.  We didn't order anything that would have qualified us for the bread basket.  I LOVE bread baskets.  It's like Christmas burrowing through it so see what kinds of stale bakery goodies and packaged crackers I can wrap in napkins and horde for later ingestion.

Anywho.  There isn't much for vegetarians except for breakfast so that's what I had.  It was pretty good.  My husband had some kind of steak sandwich (ew) and he said it was good.

It's close to us and I think they had one of those rotating dessert trees so we'll go back.  And their hours are convenient with our erratic work schedules.

I'm a little scared to admit that I used to regularly hang out here when I lived in the area but its open late (and early) and I have logged many hours in this place. I will say the food is average and I try to refrain from eating meals here. This is a place to go and meet up with friends for a chat, NOT to impress your family or date at. It has gotten much better since the smoking ban too. It doesn't make my eyes burn or make me want to shower the second I get home anymore. The prices are fair and they'll even give me free refills on tea (which is HUGE for a non-coffee drinker). The deserts are usually pretty decent too. So if you're laid back, not picky and need a place to have a drink and possibly dessert with friends check it out.

Good, fast, hot and plenty of it.  We came here for the first time for breakfast, we were driving past at about 9am on a Saturday and saw the parking lot was pretty full and the name tickled my funny bone -- it has to be good and it is a good diner.  We've been hitting some sub par places for breakfast, from Bad to just ok.  Apparently it is difficult to make a proper waffle and/or pancake or bring it out hot.  Mother's did not disappoint.  We ordered a Denver omelette, some eggs with ham and an order of pancakes, all were very good as was the service.

Please don't ever ever ever eat the pancakes or burgers.  I go there for desserts and coffee, they have drinks too.

we used to hang out here a lot.  they are open late, but they also have a really good breakfast.  beware the smoking section, it is very stinky.  this is another coffee-shop place in that they have ALL kinds of food (sandwiches, salads, chops, steaks, breakfast) most of which they do okay.
