    This place was AWESOME!

We were visiting from NorCal to go to Disneyland for the weekend. We've stayed at various Motel 6's throughout the past couple of years, but they are all pretty much the same...you get what you pay for. But here, it seemed we got MORE than what we paid for! Sure, it was about $10 more than other standard Motel 6's, but well worth it!

The people at the front desk were extremely helpful- all of them! One day we had a late check-out, and we apologized to the front desk for the late departure, and he simply said, "It's no problem at all! Next time, just let us know if you're going to check out an hour late, and you're more than welcome to do so!" They gave us information about Disneyland and the shuttle they provide. They also answered our questions about what's good to eat around the area. They also provide coffee in the morning for those who are interested.

** The rate we paid was extremely fantastic. $47/night.
** The room was spacious and bright/colorful. We had 2 double beds and there was still alot of extra space.
** The bathroom was clean and had much room...enough for me to do my make-up in the mirror while my boyfriend took a shower, without either of us bothering the other.
** The TV was very nice and worked well....free HBO! About a 32" flat screen.
** It's just down the street from all the restaurants and other hotels.
** The customer service was wonderful. Everyone seemed eager to help with any questions we had.

No wonder we've stayed here twice on two different stays in the past few months. :)

I was very pleased when I stayed here at Motel 6 over the Christmas holiday. The prices are nice and cheap, it was only 80 a night/ which is a little higher than I usually pay at Motel 6, but it was the holidays so I expected a spike.

I was pleasantly surprised when my family and I walked into our room for the first time, it was very clean and very cute! I couldn't believe it was a motel 6. There was a nice flat screen TV and a King size bed. The room was very very spacious and had a nice large bathroom as well. The heater is on the wall near the door, so it sucked out some of the heat, but we could turn it up as high as we wanted and be super comfortable!

The great thing about this place is they take pets and don't charge you extra! I love that features. There is a nice large pool here and a hot tub, which we didn't get to enjoy but they looked nice. They have free coffee/hot cocoa in the mornings for guests and a little store inside the hotel in case you forgot to bring something from home!

My family and I went to Disneyland and this place is a short walk away, which was wonderful, we didn't have to worry about parking or paying for buses. The parking here is great too, plenty of spaces. Also the area felt safe, so we didn't worry about our car in the parking lot, lots of lighting.

Only cons I can really think of is that the bed was a little hard, but it's a hotel after all. And you have to pay for Wifi. It's only 2.99 a night, but saving that little extra would always be nice.

I will definitely be staying here again next time I come to Disneyland!

I stayed here earlier this month and I was highly satisfied for my first visit.

+ The rates were very reasonable - $53/night.
+ The room was clean and VERY spacious.
+ There are outlet plugs conveniently placed all around the room, so if you need to charge your cell phone or camera, you can plug in as many devices as needed.
+ The location was perfect - about a 15 minute walk to Disneyland, and 10 to the Anaheim Garden Walk mall.
+ There is plenty of (FREE) parking all around the entire building, which also made it very convenient to run out to the car if we forgot to bring something into our room.
+ There are tons of take-out menus and restaurant coupons available near the front desk, many of which offer free room delivery!
+ They have a microwave in the lobby and offer free hot chocolate and coffee in the mornings, as well as a continental breakfast.

There were a couple of cons, but for the most part you can work around them as long as you pack and prepare for your stay accordingly.

+ Although the beds are cozy and comfy, the blankets could be warmer, so I definitely suggest bringing an extra blanket from home.
+ There's no DVD player in the room, but there are components beneath each room's flat screen TV so you can hook up A/V or HDMI cables from your DVD player or game system (I brought my slim PS2, which is VERY convenient for travel).
+ If you book a room with a queen-sized bed, or a smoking room with two queen beds, they do NOT come with a refrigerator. Also, it costs a bit more if you do want a fridge in your room, which I believe is only available to rooms with two queen beds. If anything, just bring a cooler - they have ice boxes on each floor!
+ Like most hotels, the towels are not adequately sized, I recommend bringing a few from home for your own convenience. (On the plus side, the bathroom is generously stocked with towels and wash cloths.)
+ Again, like most hotels, they have small shampoo bottles and soap, but that's usually a given. Bring your own from home.
+ Wi-fi is not free. I'm not sure how much they charge for the services, but if you have a phone that can tether, that's a great alternative for internet access, plus it'll save you a few bucks.
+ I got a room near the stairs/elevator, so I was disturbed by loud passersby during the middle of the night. The walls are not as thick as I would have liked them to be, so upon booking, just request a room away from the stairs/elevator, as well as facing away from the freeway, because I read a few other reviews by people who were disturbed by the freeway noise throughout their stay.

Like I said, the cons are for the most part only slight inconveniences that can be resolved by preparing for your trip accordingly.

All in all, I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. I already booked another stay for my next month's Disneyland trip! You're gonna end up spending a lot on your vacation to begin with, so this is an inexpensive and accommodating place to stay! Also, do you have AAA? Because they give discounts!

I love this Motel six it's always reasonably priced under 60 even on the weekends. Spacious colorful rooms wood flooring which is perfect for those of us who travel with pets friendly service.  We've never had a problem when staying here. The rooms are clean If you are looking for a five star place of course you are going to be disappointed it's a motel 6  cheap serviceable furniture clean comfortable bed nice friendly staff . The only complaint I might have is the lack of a dresser but they do have a shelving unit that works just as well and it gives the room a much more spacious feel.

I returned yesterday from my third stay this year. Everytime we were able to check in early. Our rooms were always perfectly clean. The rooms are oversized. We like the high definition flat screen TV. Plenty of hot water and strong water pressure.

We saved a bundle having veggies in our icechest. Motel 6 has a microwave in the lobby for guest use. We ate healthy meals in our room at the mini table.

Rooms are super clean. The towels are plush and soft. This is way nicer than any of the other motels that I have stayed at near the resort.

The walk is not bad. My friends were staying at the Disneyland Hotel. We left the resort at the same time. I walked the 3/4 mile to my Motel 6. They walked  to their room. I was in my room before them!!! (My room was near the front of the motel.)

The pool is clean and nice. The hot tub is always the perfect temp. I am not a fan of burning hot hot tuns.

Dogs are allowed so it was fun seeing the few dogs that were there. I missed my dogs while traveling.

Staff is super nice. Shuttle is super easy. PARKING IS FREE when other motels are charging $9-15 per night! Plenty of safe parking.

Garden Walk mall next to Motel and really good night-life restaurants (Cheesecake Factory, Buba Gumps)
are a block away.   High end hotel next door this is a classy location!

SO CLOSE TO DISNEYLAND WE COULD SEE THE FIREWORKS FROM OUR BED!!!

    Free coffee in the morning.

I've stayed at a lot of crappy, cheap motels. This one wins the gold medal of CRAP.

It looks nice at first glance. I guess at least they tried to have style. The furniture is nothing but that cheap fake wood crap you get a Target when they have going-back-to-school sales in the section catered towards college students. I know this because I have nothing but cheap, crappy fake wood Target furniture in my apartment and their furniture matches mine.

The nonsmoking rooms smell like ashtrays and even contain ashtrays. There are no tissues. There is no clock or phone. The bathroom door is supposed to be classy I think, but come'on...it's a closet door....

But my biggest issue is the NOISE. I've never slept at a noisier motel!! Absolutely obnoxious. Do the owners of the motel realize they are RIGHT NEXT to a highway and need to work around it? They make no attempt to block out the sound. I'm pretty sure the walls are actually made out of paper. You could hear suitcases rolling around and screaming children all night in every part of the building. The room would shake if someone walked by two floors down. The highway sounded like it was right above the motel. I've been to airport hotels that were quieter than this one. The noisy AC/heater was of no help either. Sometimes white noise does the trick, but the ones at this motel make a horribly high-pitched whirring sound that is bound to blow out your ear drums if you leave it on too long.

If you're looking for a good night's sleep, skip this motel. Or bring ear plugs.

We needed a Motel that allows dogs, and thru the Motel 6 website we found this one. It was supereasy check in, we were WAY early but she still checked us in.
The place is a little like a maze though... it was rather hard to find our room without a GPS and the floor and room plans are a little confusing, our room seemed to be missing between the 40 and the 42 lol

Anyways, after walking in circles and burning off some vodka calories we found it. The room is clean and very big and for a smoking room smells normal. Im a non smoker so I cant even smell the stink :)
price is higher but oh well :)

You really can't beat the price for this one..and this is Motel 6....however....
The room was dirty. Smelled like cigarettes and strong cleaning fumes. It smelled bad...burn your nose bad. Everything including the clothing that stayed in our suitcases smelled when we got home.
There was something gross on the door jam between the bedroom and the bathroom. I hope it was only food and not poop. I showed the pic to the manager and he didn't charge us for 1 night there of our 2 night stay. The next day you would think after the hotel comped us for that the cleaning staff would take care of it right? Nope, still there after the maid service came. Gross. See my pic.
No mattress pad just a thin sheet over a stained mattress. The comforters were badly stained. Again gross. No lamps...Just industrial lights. Thin thin thin teeny towels.
I think we will try the Best Western next time.

For $55/night, this place is awesome.  Futuristic 60's mod vibe.  I love that the rooms aren't carpeted because grimy motel carpet really grosses me out.  Fluffy, clean towels, hot shower, comfy beds and pillows.  We were in room 326 on the back side of the complex.  I know the room two doors down was occupied because we saw some kids hanging out out front of it that night, but we had no disruptions; very sound sleep.  Less than a mile to Disneyland which is completely walkable by anyone's standards other than Southern Californians' and the elderly.  No breakfast, but there is complementary "coffee" (think 7/11 latte...so crappy and delicious) by the check-in desk as well as overpriced snacks in the adjacent vending machines.

$85 for 1 night on a Saturday night! (Halloween weekend 10/29/11) - AMAZING DEAL!

This Motel 6 exceeded my expectations by a long shot!

HOTEL: Conveniently located behind Anaheim Garden Walk and Disneyland. TONS of parking spaces all around the hotel. The elevator always seems like it's going to break down though! It's one of those hotels that doesn't care how many people are in your room (they can't see people coming and going anyways!)

FRONT DESK/CHECKING IN: No hassle with a friendly, smiling (handsome) staff.

ROOM: Not only is it gorgeous, it's spacious, clean and brightly lit! Just look at the pictures posted on here! That's what sold me. I didn't find any cockroaches or other bugs.. no hair-in-the-towels nonsense! Wooden floors make for an uncomfortable bed for drunk friends. There was an ashtray on our table with a no smoking sign - not sure why they'd give us one? Extra charge for a fridge in the room, just don't forget to turn it on and set it to the coldest temp! My room's lock thingy on the door was broken (you could still lock the door, I'm talking about the lock that you can only lock from the inside).

What wasn't too cool were the bathrooms. The doors to the bathrooms open and close like cabinet doors - you can't lock them at all! Plus when the two doors shut - there's that little opening that you shouldn't undress in front of. Still, a nice, clean, bright, spacious bathroom =]

    CHECKING OUT: Fast and easy!

    Will DEFINITELY come here again!!

This is the best Motel 6 I have ever stayed in! If you look at the photos you will see that is it is very very modern and chic. My BF and I went to Disneyland and this was the perfect place for us to stay. It is about a mile walk to the park. Other yelpers complain that it is a long distance, its not, trust me, it takes no time at all to get to the park or to get back from the park to the hotel.
The room itself has a fake hardwood floor which is nice as I find that it is a lot cleaner than carpet. The bed is very comfy and the pillows are nice and full and fluffy. Honestly I brought my own pillows from home and did not even use them because their pillows were pretty amazing. The bathroom was also very clean and spacious. Nice water pressure and temp in the shower and a good deal of counter space. The staff was also very friendly upon check in and check out.
The only thing I would change about this room is that the toilet is very loud when it flushes. Just like a commercial toilet. Not a huge deal but when my BF got up in the middle of the night it woke me up. Again, not a big deal!
Next time we come to Disneyland we will be staying here no questions!

Stayed here during a convention. A very nice motel! Rooms were very clean and modern looking. One bad thing was there are no dressers so you have to live out of your suitcase.

Its a pretty good distance from Disneyland and the convention center, but I walked it several times so its not impossible at all.

They say they have free wi fi but it didn't reach to my room. They also do not serve breakfast. They have coffee and hot chocolate in the morning, but you have to find your breakfast elsewhere.

They do have a pool and hot tub that seemed nice, we just never got in it.

Great price! Not sure if I would stay here again just because of the distance from the convention center. It was about a 20 minute walk. There was a shuttle, I just never figured it out.

Stayed here and went to Disneyland for Labor Day weekend. This is the most upscale Motel 6 I have ever seen. They have free parking, free coffee/hot chocolate, and even room service. It is only a 10 minute walk to Disneyland, so I highly recommend walking and not waiting for the shuttle that takes half an hour. I would not mind staying here again when going to Disneyland. Honestly, the people that complain about this place do not appreciate that it's a Motel 6, not a Disney Resort, and for the price it's a great option!

I've stayed at this Motel 6 3 times now. The remodel was complete for the latest visit. This motel is always priced well for the proximity to Disneyland and restaurants. It's an easy drive to the Disney parking garage, and you can walk to restaurants (Cheesecake Factory, Bubba Gump's, etc.). You could walk to the Disneyland entrance in 10 minutes, but I wouldn't recommend it after a long day of Disney (especially if you have children).

Pros: GREAT price, good sized rooms, new flat screen tv, wood laminate floors, clean, modern "college dorm like" decor, coffee/hot cocoa, fair to good lobby service, easy freeway access, shuttle available, small convenience store inside, elevator, free parking spaces and pets stay for free.

Cons: Exterior corridors, can be a little noisy depending where your room is (only a minor inconvenience during 1/3 stays), the layout of the bathroom area is strange, yet trendy, with french doors between the beds and bathroom area. It didn't separate the sink area from the toilet and shower making it difficult to get ready at the same time as other people and lacked privacy.

You can't beat the price for what you get with this one. Just expect not to get a 5 star hotel and you're good to go...and bring an extra pillow.

You defiantly get what you pay for here. When booking our trip for Disneyland we checked out so many different options and this seemed like a good deal. It was cheap and the website listed it as being 2 blocks from Disneyland. The pictures looked nice so what the heck!? We didn't need anything fancy so we booked the standard queen room for 5 nights.

Check in went fine they do have an option of early check in which was nice. We get to our room which is supposed to have a Modern theme to it, problem was there was NOTHING in it but a tv, 2 beds and a bathroom?! Now when I booked a standard room I was at least expecting a little something? There was no dressers or closets to unpack our things so for 5 days myself, husband and 4 year old lived out of suitcases. There is no hair dryer, iron or even lotion!!!! The only thing there was was a packet of conditioning shampoo and a bar of soap. Really? There is no refrigerator or microwave. So forget about bringing your left overs back. There's also no do not disturb signs to hang on the door, if you don't want maid service coming in you have to call them and let them know. We also requested more pillows and they gave us ONE pillow and told us that was all they had.

In regards to the 2 blocks away from Disneyland. HA!!!! That's the longest 2 blocks I've ever walked! There is a bus that takes you to and from every 30 minutes or so.

The rooms look clean however looks can be deceiving. We pulled back the blankets and there were blood stains and a big black hair. Almost all the towels had orange stains on them like someone was eating cheetos and wiping their fingers on it.

Next time we will be paying the extra money and staying somewhere else.

    Pros:
Thanks to the reviews below, we knew to look for a room that was: away from the freeway, on the 2nd floor, far from smoking rooms. They accommodated us easily and our room was great.

The hotel is about a 15-minute walk from the front gates of Disneyland, so we didn't even need the shuttle. The wait for the shuttle was 20+ minutes... no brainer! Plus the route took us right by Garden Walk, a sort of outdoor mall with shopping and restaurants that was far enough away from the Disney gates to not be at all crowded.

The king bed was HUGE! The room was really clean and spacious.

    Cons:
The heater/AC is CRAZY. Maybe possessed. We went for New Year's Eve, so it was freeeeezing outside. The heater could only make our room unbearably hot or unbearably cold - there was NO in-between. I got up several times during the first night to adjust it.

The walls are thin and the doors SLAM!, so you might want to bring some earplugs. They made life simple.

Pillows are about 1-inch thick, so you might want to bring your own if you like to be comfortable. Also, bring your own bath towels unless you like 2' x 2' paper towels...

I've been here twice and let me tell you that it is CHEAP and the area is super close to DISNEYLAND!

The rooms are all updated modern art deco and a lot nicer than the other Motel 6 I've seen. The staff can be a bit eh at times and unhelpful, but that can be ignored.

    Pros:
PRICE! $51 including tax and fees on weekdays. $60ish on weekens if you do online appt.
    Walking distance to Dland.
Layout and comfy bed...very clean room with lots of space!
    Thick walls. Quiet and comfortable.
    Plenty of parking!

    Cons:
    Service.
Only one ice machine on each floor....ugh and it's FAR!
Maid service barges in on you even if you say LATE CHECKOUT.
    No dvd player.
    No wifi.
    Not enough shampoo or conditioner.

Couple of things to start off:
I was terrified of staying in this hotel because of the reviews i read before:bedbugs, roaches, hair on the towels blah blah.
I was on a budget, so my best friend and I chose to take a chance and stay here. They renovated the hotel, so I thought why not?
When we got to the hotel, I was surprised because of how close it was to Disneyland. It has an okay outside, not too nice looking, but not run down. They have a little shop in the lobby filled with overpriced touristy stuff you might forget to bring from home. The hotel staff was not nice, they were just.. alright. They didn't seem to care very much at all. We checked in, we asked to stay on the third floor in an attempt to not be around roaches. They only had one luggage cart and didn't know where it was so we ended up having to carry our stuff up instead of having it in a rolley luggage thing. We got to our room, and it looked clean enough at first glance, but I checked the beds and found stains on the sheets (bleh) and sure enough, there were hairs in our "clean towels". luckily, we had brought our own, but i called the front desk and the lady apologized and offered to switch us into a room with a refrigerator. We switched rooms, and this one was cleaner, but i would still definitely recommend bringing your own towels and blankets or sheets. We waited for the shuttle, but the couple who was there said they had been waiting and it still hadn't come, so we ended up just walking down the street to the other shuttle stop the entire stay we were there. It seemed like the shuttle never came, maybe we just missed it, but i thought that was strange. The walls, they are really thin, and you can hear everything that goes on next door, but we didn't notice it too much because we were never really in the hotel for much more than to sleep and get ready. Also, the whole time we were there, we did not see one roach, and I did notice the sheets on my bed were changed each morning with what I would like to believe were clean ones.
    PROS:
    price
    close to disneyland
    CONS:
I would call this a dirty hotel. I would not stay here if I were not a broke starving college kid.
    no continental breakfast
    unfriendly staff
    unreliable shuttle
    no free wifi
    no dressers
    no closets
air conditioner is just all right. we left it running all day and when we got back it didn't even feel like it was on.
You definitely get what you pay for here. Bottom line: if you don't have a family you are traveling with and are on a budget, stay here, just bring your own towels, sheets/ blankets/toiletries. If it's a family or you want to be able to not have to wake up in the morning praying you don't see a cockroach, pay the extra money and stay somewhere else!
I gave this hotel two stars because it's true, i have definitely experienced better, but it was not a terrible experience.

Well, okay.  You get what you pay for, and there probably isn't a cheaper hotel closer to Disneyland with relatively clean everything.

But I can't believe no one has mentioned how odd the rooms are.  One reasonably large room, coldly and spartanly decorated.  Like you're locked in a futuristic holding cell.  You know how I can best describe it?  It was like my wife and I had been abducted by aliens, and - interested in observing our behavior and seeing whether or not we'd procreate - they stuck us in a cell that was meant to simulate a "natural" Earth-like environment.  You think I'm talking crazy.  But go ahead.  Check it out for yourself and you'll laugh when you remember this review.  It's clean... it's not ugly... but it's... a little creepy.

We were sent first to a room that hadn't been cleaned (towels on the floor, bed unmade), but after we trekked back to the front desk, they apologized and sent us to a new room that was just fine.  The floor is actually linoleum with the look of hardwood.  Wifey and I agreed we were actually happier with this than with carpet - the dark carpeting of most hotel rooms can hide a multitude of sins.  Or the gooey result of sins.  And bugs.

The beds were hard and uncomfortable - I swear I woke up in the middle of the night with the entire side of my body tingling from pins and needles from being crushed against the concrete-like mattress - but they were reasonably large.  The walls really were thin; we got to listen to the girl next door have some pretty loud and mouthy sex with some dude named "Cedric."  It was over quickly, much to my gratitude (and Cedric's chagrin, I imagine), but a few hours later (circa 3am) she was back again with ANOTHER dude (Cedric clearly hadn't gotten the job done, despite her loud proclamations of ecstasy at the time).  All I can say is I'm glad I didn't bring children with me.  To be fair, my wife slept through all the sexual antics, so if - like her - you can sleep through natural disasters and the like, you ought to be fine.

All in all: yes.  It's a good deal for its location, and yes - it has been newly redecorated.  And one more "yes" for "it wasn't cockroach-ridden."  Really, I shouldn't complain, seeing that list.  But I probably wouldn't stay there again, largely for the poor night's sleep on the hard beds and disturbed by our loud neighbor through the thin walls.  And the creepy factor shouldn't be ignored.  Trust me.

This review is long overdue but I'll still post it just because it's been sitting on the draft for so long!

So, I gave this Motel 6 3 Stars as a fair review.

    Pros:
-Pretty neat/clean (not ghetto especially because it's right next to Marriott Hotel)
-Interior Design of the rooms are a bit similar to HOTEL rooms.
-Flatscreen TV and you can hook up DVD players/Playstation/XBox/etc.
-Unlimited Coffee/Hot Chocolate from 5AM-10AM @ the lobby.
-Really near Disneyland entrance. You can practically walk it.
-They offer Wi-Fi, I forgot how much but I'm guessing around $2-$3 per night?

We rented 2 (2 Queen Size Beds Non-Smoking rooms) from April 9-April 12 for $478. I called in a week or so ahead of time to reserve the rooms and specifically asked for the rooms to be right next to each other and the person who booked our rooms (Tequila) had said that there were a lot of rooms available and that it's for sure we'll get the rooms next to each other.

Once we got there, we were given separate rooms that are 6 rooms away from each other. (not a room apart that they have promised us) It was alright though. We weren't too bummed out about it since it's still fairly near at each other. Right when we settled we still had 30 minutes before the pool closes so we decided to go for a swim. Swimming pool is pretty clean and they also have a jacuzzi but it was crowded since it's really small.

I'm giving this review 2 stars less because of their bathrooms. The interior is nice but we had so much problem with the bathrooms all throughout our stay there... To make it worse, it's not only one room that we had problems with but both rooms.  First bathroom's problem is the toilet. Every time you have to flush the toilet you had to open the tank and hold the button so the tank can refill with water.  Second room had problems with the shower. The water wasn't draining out and some sand/dirts were coming out. We called it in so someone can take a look at it or if they can move us to a different room but they said they no longer had any room available and that the they won't be able to fix the shower until the next day. We just found that as a hassle because now all of us had to use one bathroom to shower in. The shower issues was solved the next day but they couldn't do anything with the toilet so we had to do deal with the problem the whole time we stayed there.

Other than the bathroom problems I actually think that this Motel 6 is probably the best MOTEL I ever stayed in. You'll definitely get your money's worth. I'll for sure stay here again when I'm in the area... Hopefully next time we won't be stuck in a room that have bathroom problems so I can give them a higher rating that they really deserve. :)

5 stars to a motel? Yes!

My boyfriend and I have stayed here the past two trips to Disneyland and both times have been great experiences.

Hotel has cheap rates. More money saved can be used to spend at Disneyland :)

The room itself is nice. I believe it's been remodeled recently. The beds are nice after a long day at the park. There's a flatscreen tv, hardwood floors, and a nice bathroom.

What's great about this place is the shuttle. It's $12 a person for a 3 day pass. It's also walking distance to the Garden Walk. We were super hungry after checking in at around 10:30 p.m. after our flight. Luckily for us, The Cheesecake factory was still open. It was just a block or two away.

A downside if this motel is the super slow elevator. If you can find the stairs, please let me know.

Overall a good experience. We'll probably stay here again.

This Motel 6 is very nice for a Motel 6.

I found my room to be surprisingly comfortable (or maybe it was being compared to an 8-hour car ride?) and the TV was quite pleasant. It's also super near Disneyland/Downtown Disney. Guest service was helpful. Also in the lobby there's a Disney store!

Minus 1 star for the thin walls; people next door came in around 5 in the morning and woke my whole family up.

This was our first time staying at this particular Motel 6. It was a great experience. The room was big and spacious. Hardwood floors were a plus, and it had a good size TV. The bathroom I loved! It was bigger than your average hotel size. The shuttle was super convenient and cheap, $2 for adults and $1 for children.
Next trip to Disneyland we will be definitely staying here again!

This is the most upscale motel 6 I've ever stayed at - and I've stayed at a lot! Unlike the vast majority they have shampoo and, wait for it..., room-service :-) There's also a pool, a gift store, guest laundry, and ample parking. Location is great too - close to Disneyland, Anaheim Stadium, the Pond, Anaheim Amtrak station, and more.

The room was larger than the normal Motel 6 room with 2 queen sized beds and plenty of room to walk around, a flat-screen TV, and a small table with chair and bench crammed into a corner. The bathroom was bog-standard Motel 6 with no lock on the door as usual.

The decor screams 'Disneyland' i.e. someone thought this looked futuristic 20 years ago. No carpet on the floor, only linoleum tile which looked a bit odd.

Overall you can't beat this deal for the $80 we paid.

    Yes, I stayed at a Motel 6.

This is not your run of the mill, seedy interior, Motel 6. The rooms are completely updated with wood laminate floors, new paint, furniture, bathroom fixtures, ect. The bed was sufficiently comfortable. A/C worked well and there were plenty of lights around the room. Lots of towels provided. Maids cleaned the room efficiently. The building is only 4 floors.

    Pros:
-Close to Anaheim Garden Walk (You can walk to it)
-Close to Disneyland (You can walk, or find a shuttle/bus)
-Close to basically everything in the Disney Area. (You won't starve, Katella and Harbor Blvd have everything you'll need)
-Cheap, great value for what they offer.
-Front desk employees were friendly as far as I could tell.
    -Free Parking
    -Security on Patrol
-Coffee until 10am, vending machines, and a microwave in the lobby.
-Swimming pool looked large and clean.
    -Wall mounted TV
    -Table with chairs

    Cons:
-The Motel does not have automatic doors. Kind hard to struggle with luggage and hold the door open at the same time.
-Plenty of parking spots, but are somewhat of a tight fit.
    -One elevator.
-Hotel walkways are sprayed down with water every day and might be slippery.
-NO IRON/HAIR DRYER/CLOSET/SAFE. You can borrow a Iron/Hair dryer at the front desk but you have to give them your ID as collateral. There is no closet with doors, they provide 6 hangers in the bathroom that you can hang onto a hook on the wall, but otherwise, there is no designated closet space with a door.
-Cheap-quality toiletries, so make sure to pack your own.
-The toilet has no door. It is in the same room as the shower, but there is no door between the toilet and the bathroom sink.

This Motel is relatively safe. We accidentally left the window on our Rental rolled down all the way overnight. When we discovered it the next morning, all our belongings were untouched, and the car was just as we had left it.

However, this Motel 6 attracted some cheap clientele. That's all I'm going to say, but for the value and proximity, I could care less. The walls were thick enough to muffle any noises from any neighboring rooms or the exterior.

Overall, the room is comfortable, the motel isn't much for Disney-style ambiance. However, when you're at Disneyland, you won't be spending much time in the room.

After my last experience at a cheap hotel, I was sooo hesitant of booking another one..

But since I had not had my Disney fix in a while, I needed something!!!

I didn't want to spend a fortune on a room that we would not be hanging out in, so I decided to do Motel 6.  We booked a 2 night business suite with a microwave and fridge for $67 a night.  Not bad at all!

I was pleasantly surprised at how clean and nice it was!  Hard wood floors always helps ANY room, and it was great to have the bathroom sink separate from the shower...it's just more convenient, don't ya think?

They also had a nice pool area.

All in all, I will stay here again and recommend it to people who just want a place to lay their bodies at night.

Not bad at all.  $56 for a Saturday night near Disneyland, very cool.  Very quiet, very clean and beds were actually way comfortable.  Anaheim Resort Transit is the way to go when staying here to go to Disneyland - $4 all day - you can't beat that.   Decided to stay here even though I like 20 minutes away because after a LONG day at Disney, I'm just not in the mood to have to drive home....

Totally worth staying here....very nice people!

If you're a poor college student like me, then this Motel 6 is the place to stay!  Its cheap and the rooms are pretty nice.  It's also within walking distance from Disneyland! (So no having to pay for parking) and there are restaurants along the way.  So you can eat breakfast at Denny's and not have to pay for expensive meals in the park.  Or after you're done at Disneyland, stopping at a restaurant on the way back and breaking down the day could easily be the best way to end the night.

OK, I know it's a Motel 6, but do not judge! This is probably one of the nicest Motel 6's around. If you are looking for a hotel near Disneyland, I suggest here because it's super cheap for the location (anywhere from maybe $50-$80/night, depending on the season.  If you've been looking at near-Disneyland hotels, you know this is a good deal). No complaints with the room, everything a motel room usually has and was clean. I haven't stayed since the remodel but the photos of the remodeled rooms look great.  Much more modern lookin'. I highly recommend staying here.

Motel 6 was clean, comfortable, and only TWO BLOCKS from Disneyland!

The staff was friendly and professional.

Our room had 2 comfortable queen beds, well-working mini fridge, microwave, and tv with cable.

There are some reviews on TripAdvisor about this particular Motel 6 not having good water pressure in the shower. In our room, the water pressure couldn't have been better! The shower, sink and toilet worked just fine.

Being only two blocks from Disneyland, we would have walked there every day, but I had lots of things to carry to Disneyland, so we took ART.

The ART stop is right outside the front doors of Motel 6, and day passes for ART are sold  at the front counter of Motel 6. We went during off-season (our trip was Apr 30 - May 5 2007), when Disneyland closes at 10pm and Main Street closes at 12am. During that time of year, be warned: the last ART bus leaves Disneyland at 8:30pm. However, there is always the option of walking, taking a cab, or just driving to and parking at DL, for $11/day.

Things that we didn't makes use of, but were there: the pool and the coffee/hot chocolate machines.

I went to bed every night feeling like I had the best-kept secret in Anaheim, and feeling sorry for anyone who paid more--- for the exact same experience I was getting. It's a STEAL, people. :)

p.s. There's even a little convenience store in the lobby.

I've stayed here several times in the past couple of years.  Clean rooms, the staff is friendly.  Rooms are spacious.  We ask for maid service before noon each day to allow for uninterrupted naps and, without fail, when we come back, the room is cleaned.  Great location - we'll be back here for sure!

For a low budget trip to Disneyland. This is the place to go.

They have a shuttle that takes you to Disneyland, it's around the corner from Gardenwalk, and the best of all, it is decently priced. I've stayed here twice with my girlfriend and haven't had a bad experience. The scenery isn't amazing, and the staff is so so, but for a trip to Disneyland, this place is perfect.

The room has comfortable beds, the hardwood floors aren't super inviting, but the TV does offer a good amount of channels, and the little table arrangement in the corner of the room is just right for doing work, or eating a small take out meal.

This was our second time here and we were not disappointed. Clean updated rooms and friendly efficient lobby service. It does get loud with people coming back from the park, all the way up until midnight, but it's quiet in the early mornings and you can sleep in. My husband said the pool is warm.

a lot more than you would expect from a motel 6.  if you're looking for a clean, inexpensive place within walking distance to disneyland, this is a good option.

    a lot of good things:
    comfortable beds
    modern decor
    flat screen tv
    clean room
    free coffee/hot chocolate every morning
    heated pool
10 min walk to disneyland main gate
a block away from anaheim gardenwalk
shuttle service to the park (for small fee)
    great price!

i would suggest bringing your own shampoo, conditioner, soap, towel and pillow if you're picky about those things, as i am.

I could not beleive the room we stayed in ad no alarm clock... no clock at all.. ZERO... to find out what time it was we had to get upand grab our cell phones to find out.
The room looked as though it had beenremodeled to resemble the 70's. The walls must be thin, because we heard our neighboor shower and ague with whoever he was with. And we could hear the kids sceaming with excitment going down the hall.
Our room was non smoking but reaked of ciggarettes, and there was an ash tray ont he nightstand.
We booked here because when we booked we were on a tight budget.
    Parking sucked.
Motel 6 is good for a night while on a longdrive.... but for a vcation, it's a no no.

The beer opener under the bathroom sink was an added bonus, out of place, but a bonus just the same.

my experience was dampened by the poor customer service, but if you just want to consider the exterior of things, like the rooms and location (basically anything that doesn't require interaction with the staff), then it's alright for what you pay.

checking in, i was told i couldn't get my one queen bed, but rather two full sized beds, with no extra charge. ok fine... i can work with that. going into the room, i was pretty disappointed because it looked nothing like the pictures on yelp OR the website. the room was extremely empty and not so cozy. took a peek into the bathroom, and there was no tub, just curtains and a bench as the shower stall. so that meant, i was given a handicap accessible room. no biggie. not until i woke up from my nap and decided to take a shower. it was a disaster in the bathroom. water EVERYWHERE. stepping out into the room was hard too, because the floors were hard wood. after much debate, to bitch or not to bitch, i decided, "fuck it, i want my disney trip to be somewhat comfortable at least."

so i called front desk, told them about the situation and they told me to come to the front to switch rooms. once i got there, a representative was being reluctant to give me a new room because, housekeeping was about to leave for the day, and it would've been "hard to sell that room because it was messy." which is fucking retarded because they had kajilllion other rooms they could give out and we were only there for 3 hours. it's not like i asked for that specific room. finally, she budged and gave us a standard room. entering the new room, made me feel complaining was worth it. much nicer in terms of feng shui and decor/ set up of bathroom.

my other complaints regards to how i had to run to the front desk for everything. blowdryer, shampoo, TV remote. etc. i mean, at least HAVE the necessities in the room.  housekeeping was pretty rude as fuck. the morning of our departure, we were rudely awoken by housekeeping who tried to barge into our room continuously, even when the door latch was locked.

overall, this motel 6 was okay in terms of customer service. however, location is pretty great. right next to the freeway (highway 5), not too far from the park or the restaurants on harbor blvd. 5 min drive to target. and steps away from anaheim gardenwalk. so the location has it going for them. Also, shuttle comes to this motel every 15 mins, so be sure to talk to the front desk to get an all day pass.

would i stay again?? probably yes, if i was on a budget but i'll be sure not to let the employees sass me.

    CONS:
-Our room was on the second floor facing the swimming pool, which doesn't close until 10pm. We could hear everything that was going on in the pool area, so it made it difficult for our baby to sleep.
-Doors and windows are thin so you can hear people just outside your door.

    PROS:
-Very, very clean! Everything was spotless through out the entire place.
    -Helpful, knowledgable, and friendly staff.
-Everything was modern and updated in our room.
-Within walking distance from Disneyland's main gate. It only took us 15 minutes to walk from Motel 6 to Disneyland. At it was a pleasant walk through a good neighborhood.
-Complimentary coffee service in the lobby every morning.
-Shuttles to and from Disneyland come by Motel 6 every 20-25 minutes and run throughout the whole day.
