The food was excellent. The service was excellent. Attentive but not obtrusive. I don't think my water glass was ever empty!!
Steaks were perfectly cooked. Great place for small or large parties... like ours of 14.
Would recommend to anyone looking for a quality meal.

I ate at Mo's two days in a row -- I liked it that much.

Another reviewer commented on the bacon-wrapped scallops -- they were tremendous. I had those the first night along with a dry-aged bone-in strip steak. The steak was cooked perfectly...they really crisped the outside and seared it so the juices stayed in (which is a trick with a dry-aged steak). we had the onion rings and the creamed spinach -- both tasty and big enough for 3 hungry dudes to eat with plenty left over. Price without drinks: $248 for 3.

On the second night I went back with a client. I had the filet mignon and lobster special. Really great filet cooked medium and done perfectly. The lobster tail was a nice addition. We sat upstairs -- there's the main dining room, the bar area, and the upstairs -- which was quiet and nice. Like eating in a very expensive library. Price (with a drink apiece): $180. (The steaks specials were $63 each.)

As a side...we had the hot chocolate chip cookie with ice cream dessert the first night. One order was plenty for the 3 of us...and it was really something. It was a little like eating chocolate chip cookie dough with ice cream. I could have lots more of that.

I'd recommend Mo's and will go back again. Saw some sports dudes come in and out. And some beautiful people. It's good people watching.

Hey, fun side note; Valet is only $7. Quite a deal from living in Philly, where that price would be $20 without thinking.

Service and atmosphere were excellent. The traditional style environment was fun. Overall I thought the meal was very good. I had a filet with blue cheese. The steak was very good. The sides come in large portions, so you can split them. Wine list was good and resonable. I will come back to visit.

My business colleague and i flew in last thursday night for a friday meeting.  We were walking from the Residence Inn to go grab a quick bite; we walked by Mo's and decided to grab some steak.  We ended up having a great meal!

The bacon-wrapped scallops get five stars.  The shrimp cocktail, steak, and sides were pretty standard for a steakhouse; i've had better but still very enjoyable.  The service was good.

This place seemed like a gold-digger hangout.  We ate in the bar area and there were a lot of cougars hanging on some really old guys.

All in all, if i have to come back to milwaukee for a business trip, i would hit up this place again just to grab the bacon-wrapped scallops!

This is an average steakhouse where you would want to bring clients.  They have a bar area separated from the dining area which is great but still noisy.

They present the raw steaks and cuts and explain the sauces they have (added charge).  This is great for people who don't know much about steak.  I got the file mignon with the blue cheese sauce.  It was good, steak was too overcoated with pepper for me though.  Cooked to perfection.
Sides are a la carte but enough to feed 3 people each.

Prices are steak house prices:  $35-45 for the steaks, $8-12 for the sides.  It was a convenient walk in between old town and new (sorry if I am explaining the area wrong)

The food is delicious and the atmosphere appropriate. I had the bone in Rib eye which was cooked perfectly (medium rare). We split the mashed potatoes with white cheddar cheese which was yummy. The chocolate bread pudding was also delicious. Like other good steakhouses it was pricey. I had a glass of wine, we had 2 rib eyes, mashed potatoes and a bread pudding and the total with tip was around $170.

I was in town for a Harley Davidson convention with 6 other guys.  We were told to go here because the prices where cheaper than the place at our hotel.  We showed up at the door and found that wasn't the case at all.  After resigning ourselves to having a good steak and that they wouldn't kick us out because of our causal attire we were impressed by there service.

Imagine 7 hungry man wolfing down rolls before they hit the table.  I think they assigned a staff member who's sole job was to scoop up the breadcrumbs with some nifty tool I have never seen before.  when they brought out the beef cuts on a tray.  The woman who presented the cuts stayed composed as our group asked a lot of redundant questions and had a hard time paying attention and listening.

Actually I felt like their was a whole team waiting on us and I felt like they were happy to do it.

Apparently Mo's is a chain that has all these restaurants in downtown Milwaukee, including Moceans, Mo's Cucina...you name it.

I got the Baked French Onion Soup and the Bone in Rib Eye (24 oz).  Two of my cowokers were daring me that I wouldn't be able to finish all 24 oz and they said they would each give me a $100 if I finished it.  The Rib Eye was good, so of course I finished it.  I didn't get my $200 though...The side dishes were pretty good too.

They have a decent selection of wine.  We ended up getting a bottle of cab that was supposedly from the cellar.  Not sure why, but the first bottle was a little chilled - which was definitely a bummer.

The service was really good...our server was very attentive and gave us all free desserts.

One of the best fillets I have ever had!  The 8oz is plenty of food!  The appetizers, lobster bisque and sides are all so good!  Decent wine selection. This place is quite hard on the pocket book!   Next time I am in Milwaukee, I will be coming back for the prime selection of meats!  Can't wait!

Mo's owns the whole block. You can have steak, beer, or italian food for dinner, all curtesy of Mo's. We chose Mo's steaks since we had a $45 per diem that needed to be alleviated off of our wallets.

Mo's is warm, slightly upper class but still casual. It's a good place to go for a celebratory meal, testosterone eats, and to watch the big game. The bar area is nice with two tvs, one old school one and one fancy plasma type. We chose to eat at the bar so our one male companion could enjoy himself as he sat in the presence of three females who recapped episode by episode "The Real Wives of Orange County". He later succombed by talking about a really messed up Lifetime movie. Now if that's not a fun night, I don't know what is.

On to the meat. If you are not quite sure which steak is right for you, the waitress will gladly bring over her plate of cuts of meat. Three pound slabs of rib eye, filet mignon, ribs, strip steak, sirloin, etc. etc. It's a bit overwhelming as the steaks are bloody red. Bloody! It's definitely fresh stuff over here. One less cow to be tipped because that night it was in my belly. Tempted by the ribeye, my colleague and I decided it was just too much to eat. We settled for the 8 oz. filet mignon. I got mine medium and found it a tad bit too well done. My new preparation is medium rare as I redeemed my steak at Arthur's Tavern in Hoboken, NJ. Served soft, tender, and slightly pink, its the new way I am eating my steak. My steak was still very good. It was some savory meat. The steak entrees at Mo's are a la cart. Please over your sides if you want something to wash down your steak with. I got a side of jalapeno hashbrowns and they were served circular like a pizza in a cast iron skillet. Definitely get the hashbrowns. Crispy, soft and slightly spicy, they were good. Other items that were ordered that night was caesar salad, ahi tuna steak, crab cakes, and french onion soup. All was reported as very good and at the end of the meal we were stuffed.

The service at Mo's was good. Our waitress told us what it was like in Milwaukee and always made sure we were okay. Mo's can definitely stay in the running or even take the lead in the realm of steak houses.

One of my least favorite places for steak in MKE.  I believe there are many better places in town--just blocks away are Carnivore, The Chophouse, Yanni's, Mason Street Grill, and the Capitol Grille.  Service has been very spotty on my three visits, and the steak has never been memorable.

We had the steak and bacon-wrapped scallops with the asparagus, spinach, and house special version of the double-baked potato... It was all amazing, but beware of sticker shock! For just that and two iced teas, our bill came to $150. Since it was part of a birthday treat before a fantastic concert by the Gipsy Kings at the Riverside, I couldn't get too upset, but definitely pay attention to which version of Mo's you end up at, otherwise your wallet may not handle the pain.

Good food but overrated. It's usually hard to move around since it is usually very cramped. Not a good place to have a conversation. We had so many damn people waiting on our table that we couldn't have a conversation without being interrupted. The Crumb scrapers were like little gnats....."Go away...I'm ok with crumbs in front of me". There are much better places to go in the city which are more laid back, more affordable and have better food. ex. Coerper's, Yanni's, Chop House and then some.
