Service is off the charts.
I went here all alone with no reservations on a weekday. I had a business trip to Chicago, and since my companion ditched me, I said
"Screw this room service BS, I'm having myself a Mortons steak dinner."
When I walked in, I'd have to admit that I felt foolish for going to this dark, semi-romantic restaurant all by myself but the head waiter (maitre d?) greeted me with a warm smile and made me feel more than welcome. He said that at his previous job, he'd been in the same position, so he wanted to show that every single counts.
Needless to say the rib eye and asparagus (which were in season) were delicious and everyone was super hospitable. At the end, they even gave me a drink on the house just to make sure that I know that I matter to them!
Awesome. Classy. Delicious. Friendly. -

I was at Morton's Steakhouse last night. We did not go there to eat, instead we went for cocktails. The location is great, good parking and they even have valet parking. The bar area is nice and cozy. The Cosmopolitan Martini's were "not all that". But then again everyone cannot make a perfet Cosmo like me. But, when I asked the bartender to add a splash of lime juice and use Grey Goose, he did it and it was much better. So, cheers to Tony, the bartender!! While we sipped Cosmos, free filet minion sandwiches were served and they were soo delicious!! Later we ordered shrimp cocktails and the shrimps were GIGANTIC and delicious! If you are planning a meet and greet, I highly recommend Morton's at this location. The food, cocktails and atmosphere are great!

Ah, Morton's. What can't they do? It almost seems silly to review this place, since everything about it is so perfect. The service? Amazing. The wine list? Mind boggling. The food? Are you kidding me? Like, the best steak EVER. It's pricey, that should just be understood. But you walk out feeling like you would have paid double and wishing you could just sit back down and have the whole experience all over again. If you've never been, go soon.

Probably one word sums up Mortons - gargantuan pieces of food. If you are a steak lover, I guess you'd love it - large slabs of steak, football sized baked potatoes, asparagus stalks the size of mini trees. But I can't help feeling like it's just one more corporate type non-individual symptom of our culture. I mean, please, those potatoes are not naturally occurring in nature - vegetables that size are genetically modified. And the prices, are gargantuan too. So if you like the steakhouse type of place, with large martinis, large pieces of meat, and large cigars, you'll probably enjoy Morton's. But for those looking for a more unique dining experience, not the place for you!

We only went for after-dinner drinks and dessert and sat in the bar area. The place is a bit dated and the bar area was filled with guys that looked like local mobsters (or they were stuck in 70's Chicago) and their ladies. Dessert was great and the drinks were good (but a bit pricey). Some of the other steakhouses in the area have a nicer decor. Was not crowded for a Saturday night, which could be a good thing.

Fantastic steak, Service and location, Had the lobster bisque appetizer, Very good but they should have shaved or diced the piece of lobster, Had a great bottle of wine, My guest had a butterfied filet with hollandaise (sp?) sauce, It was superb, My bone in ribeye (rare) was great as well.

MMMM........ Exquisite and just all worth every penny! The crab cakes were so meaty and flavorful, the mac and cheese was spot on! steaks were perfectly cooked to our specifications! The dessert was just off the charts! The atmosphere was a bit too dark but overall the service and food was exceptional and impeccable!

HUGE fan of mortons at westchester... i believe its smaller than the others -- more intimate i think, more personal - maybe its because i've been a regular for quite awhile -- since I used to work in the building. GREAT BAR!!!! Tony is the regular bartender there, I've been honored enough to have this latin lova making my martinis for 4 years and have loved every one of them. I also like to request a small glass of freshly stuffed blue cheese olives and he always delivers it with two toothpicks so i can share with my friends. Every weeknight between 430-7'ish they serve complimentary filet mignon sandwiches (prepared bloody to medium rare) at the bar with mayo on the softest most delicious buttery bread... the size of sliders. Trays and trays of them -- instantly we turn into a bunch of vultures.....orgasmic. You can eat dinner at the bar area at a pub table, which I have done many a times after 4 hours at the bar and we NEED MEAT!! As far as the steaks.. always consistent, always cooked just the like you like them, i always get the ribeye or filet -- but I've witnessed someone put down the 32 oz (i think its 32 oz, maybe more) porterhouse, gluttony i tell you, big fat carnivorous gluttony. Their mortons salad is phenomenal -- their asparagus spears are thick and long and perfectly steamed served with hollondaise sauce, potatoes -- i don't know how to spell it, but it sounds like lionaise - hashbrown chunk like potato golden brown with caramelized onion, and sauteed shrooms -- MM MMMMM!!! a dark hot steamy loaf of bread served with whipped butter, to die for!! i think i just went in reverse -- oh, and dessert -- amazing! molten choc cake with ice cream.
