If your are a prime rib lover, get the Chicago Prime Rib, mouth watering juicy steak. I ordered the Center cut Filet Mignon because I am a Filet Mignon kind of gal, I do recommend to try it with one of their choice in toppings. Ice Berg salad is huge and one of the best I have tasted. The sides were alright, my favorite were the sauteed spinach and mushroom.
Their cheesecake is ABSOLUTELY the best I have ever had!!!!
Great place for a birthday dinner celebration. :) Love it! Took my mom here for Mother's Day celebration. -

it's nice, but it's burbank nice.
minus one for a steakhouse with a bar but serves no draft beer.
they validate for the underground parking but for three hours' worth only and you will still pay a minimum of $3.
$47 for a boneless ribeye; add $10 and a bone and it's a chicago chop. the food is good, but portions are kind of screwy. salad or side is separate so add another $12 each which your server will recommend you split with your tablemate, though servings are more for 1.5 rather than two. steak was cooked rare, as ordered, but had more ligaments and other unchewables than i would expect from nearly $50 worth of aged prime beef. peppercorn sauce steak was good, cooked to order, but sauce was a little heavy on the pepper. garlic mashed potatoes were tasty, grilled spinach and mushrooms were good but underseasoned. upside down apple pie was smallish but satisfying; i've had better elsewhere. order a coffee and baileys and they are served in separate mug and glass -- a classy touch.
service was efficient, water glasses frequently refilled and the server has a nifty little crumb scraper she used to clean the table cloth after our delicious loaf of very crusty bread; however the difference between professional waiters in east-coast steakhouses and displaced media workers temporarily making do in a part-time job across the street from dimples is all too apparent. our server was vague about what flavors of sam adams were available ("it's in a bottle") and didn't sound too convincing explaining the difference between a porterhouse and a t-bone. when she was showing us the dessert tray she left her thumb print in the creme brulee. i watched something that looked like a golf tee on a hat pin lie on the floor for almost half an hour before anyone picked it up from the walking lane. the hostess walks the restaurant in ballet flats. not illegal, just feels closer to a black angus with no dance floor as opposed to the upscale steakhouse vibe they're trying to sell you. and the last time i checked, black angus had beer on tap.
which reminds me of the restaurant where i watched the waiter walk with his thumb on my steak all the way over to my table and served it in front of me with his thumb on my steak. i said "hey, what are you doing with your thumb on my steak?" and he says "i didn't want to drop it again."
i would go back if somebody besides me is buying. thanks, chief. -

Used to come here for lunch all the time. Lovely steaks. Please don't muck it up with all that sauce or other "toppings"! It's tragic. The petite filet is divine; no need to mess with it!
I love their wedge salad, and the lobster bisque is nothing short of elegant.
Comfortable country club-esque atmosphere; great service. It's an institution. -

I love this restaurant but apparently they are under new management and the service is no longer excellent. Was there today for a much anticipated lunch. The food was great!
The service was not up to par with the prices. I phoned the manager later this afternoon and he seemed disinterested. Perhaps it was just my waiter, but the manager should have expressed more interest in my dissatisfaction. -

Cool spot to catch up with friends who work in the area. I ate before heading over, but managed to steal some of the blue cheese fries (delicious) and a slice of the salmon pizza (not too bad).
For parking, you can usually find some street parking on the bridge if you come around 6-6:30pm. -

Another year, another birthday to celebrate at Morton's :).
Nothing short of great service and food. Prices jumped up a few dollars since the establishment was bought out by another corporation in January. Menu is 90% the same with a few new additions to try out.
But...for this review specifically: their lemon souffle is heaven! And not because it was on the house due to my birthday ;). Souffle was light, fluffy and just the right balance of lemon tart and sweetness. Nice way to round out a hefty steak dinner :).2 Previous Reviews: Show all »

I wish I could give this place Zero stars. Horrible!!!!!! Worst food experience of my life, would of had a better time at In and Out.
Came here with a group of 10 people for a friend's birthday. She use to work here and loved it. Was anticipating this dinner for over two months!
Service for a top notch restaurant should be impeccable but Morton's is far from mediocre service. So at least I hoped the food would live up to its status, but again NO.
The food was either rare or burnt. Definitely NOT worth the high prices.
To top off the bad service and horrible food, the manager was rude as hell and could care less to make us satisfied. Oh and let's mention that one person got an over cooked prime rib and then for their second dish (ribeye steak) it had to came back twice and both times is was still kicking and bleeding when she asked for medium well. When the manager came over he all but physically forced her to order a 4th piece of meat insisting she couldn't leave without something (meaning he wanted her to pay). Everyone else in the party all ready had their food and were done eating. She didn't want anything at that point.
To list off some other instances:
Some one order coffee and found a hair in the creamer.
Everyone's food came at different times over a span of 45mins. A salad or appetizer came after the main course.
We had to refill our own water and once we ran out we had to refill at the bar.
The manager gave several of us dirty looks when we went to the bathroom. Even started arguing and rolling his eyes at one person.
No one even tried to make us happy with any compensations. We had to force him to comp the 4time steak mishap for the birthday girl.
We ordered Molten cake as a dessert and it was completely over baked and even burnt in some areas. There was nothing liquid on the inside like it should of been. That was the only thing that was universally comped because we refused to eat it.
We weren't even the only people dissatisfied that night. We heard several people complain that the place was a dump. I wish those people would write reviews. People need to know that Morton's isn't what they use to be. They were bought out by Laundry's for one thing so we thought maybe that's the reason, but who really knows why they suck now. They just do.
I will never come here again and would NEVER recommend this place to any one.
Oh and to top it off someone got food poisoning... yup worst food experience ever. -
Review from Julia W.
Review is for the bar only. Which is sad. For the amount of times I've been here, I've never stepped into the main dining room except for walking to the Ladies room.
Power Hour goes from 4:30-6:30 on most weekdays. Best value for the appetizers. Notable ones: salmon pizza (chewy crust, salmon + capers), sliders (not the filet mignon one), crab cake (not the sandwich bites - just go for the crab cake), and blue cheese steak fries. If you're craving steak, skip the filet mignon sandwich and go for the burger instead. Better taste and preparation.
Of course, an extensive wine list. Extremely friendly waiters and waitresses - if your order's taking too long, they do give you some sourdough bread to munch on.
My go-to spot for happy hour. Yep, I'm completely spoiled by this place now. -

Had the filet and to my mouth this was probably the best tasting restaurant steak I've ever had. Everything was really tasty and the service was good.
Grilling my own prime filets from AJ's Fine Foods in Arizona was better tasting than any restaurant steak but I can't find any good butchers here in LA. -

Diamond Bar, CA
Had a little set back with the filet mignon, but the night ended incredibly great despite the incident. The filet mignon I ordered, and my partner's, came out incredibly dry and not quite the medium rare I get at other restaurants. So I brought it up to the servers. Absolutely great customer service and quick to solve the problem! As expected of Morton's!
They allowed us to reorder our filet mignon, or switch it with a ribeye, but we went to Morton's for the filet Mignon, and just reordered our original order! Now the second time the filet mignons came out, it was an exceptional medium rare - as expected of Morton's reputation! Just wished the second time around, was actually our first, but the night ended well with delicious food in our stomachs! I definitely left the restaurant in a happy mood.
-------------------------------
Appetizer: 5 Onion Soup - Absolutely incredible! Very flavorful without it being stereotypically salty. Came incredibly hot that it burnt my mouth, but that's how I love my soup! Just incredibly exceptional.
Side Dishes: Asparagus with Hollandaise Sauce - Tender yet crispy jumbo asparagus. You pour your the sauce on yourself. I love asparagus and hollandaise, so there's not much to say except delicious!
Coffee Service: Cappuccino - Just the right size. I really dislike how some restaurants give you just way too much coffee. I really dislike leaving left over things, so the perfect size coffee to settle a delicious dinner was just a correct way to end a good meal.
Dessert: Creme Brulee - A very refreshing dessert. It's not incredibly heavy, yet it's not incredibly light. It's the perfect consistency and mouth feel with a delicious vanilla cream flavor. A truly great way to end such a heavy meal.
Wine Pairing with Entree: Ponzi, Pinot Noir, 2009 from Willamette Valley. I'm no Sommelier, but I chose this myself just because I was was in a Pinot Noir mood and Pinot Noir is just a magnificent, well-rounded wine. I thought it turned out to be a great match with the filet mignon, so I thought I chose well. It's a typical Pinot Noir - strawberry/cherry/currant flavors and scents, jammy, beautiful in color, a bit sweet and not tannic. It was a pleasant drink.
Overall: Despite the set back with the first round of Filet Mignons, I absolutely loved the quick problem solving skills. As stated before, the second filet mignons came out to be such great medium rares. Everyone there cared about the customers and were kind despite the trouble I gave them. But I'm glad I spoke up because I could have had the worst first impression ever, and would never have gone back. But it was a wonderful, overall experience, and I would gladly go back just to try the oysters next time, as well as their famous chocolate cake. -

I've attended many business dinners with Hubby at the various Morton's locations over the past many years except in Sacto. The last dinner event I attended was held at Morton's in Burbank in one of their private rooms. The dinner event menu was nothing but extradordinary as follows:
(1) Cocktail Hour:
I had a glass of my fav champagne and a Morton's Grey Groose cosmo....fantastic!
(2) Hors d'oeuvres:
* Miniature Crab Cakes, Mustard Mayonnaise Sauce
* Broiled Sea Scallops, Apricot Chutney
* Roma Tomato, Fresh Mozzarella & Basil on Crostini
* Petite Lamb Chops
* Colossal Shrimp
I tried all and all were delish!
(3) Wine Service:
Choice of white and/or red wine during dinner. Excellent!
(4) First Couse:
Choice of Lobster Bisque or Baked Five Onion Soup, Crusted with Swiss Cheese. I selected the lobster bisque and it was divine!
(5) Second Course:
Choice of Caesar Salad or Morton's Salad. Morton's caesar salad is yummylicious!
(6) Filet & Lobster - Filet Mignon, Single Cut & Lobster Tail, Cold Water
Accompaniments - Steamed Fresh Asparagus w/ Hollandaise Sauce, Sautéed Garlic Green Beans, and Mashed Potatoes. My filet was perfectly prepared and the lobster was scrumptious!
(7) Dessert Trio - (Mini New York Cheesecake * Double Chocolate Mousse Cup * Fresh Seasonal Berries & Sabayon Sauce) + Coffee or Tea. Nice ending to a great meal!
Morton's offers a great dining experience. I'm still a fan and I'll be back! 4 Stars! -

Happy hour prices are great for how expensive this place is for lunch and dinner. Most happy hour bites are $6 or $7 when they are originally prices at $12 and up. Blue cheese fries (steak fries) were delicious. Chicken fingers literally looked like fingers. Breading wasn't great either.
KEY LIME PIE IS FREAKING AMAZING. However, if you're not a fan of tart, do not get it. It is so tart that your lips pucker and your jaw hurts and I LOVE IT. Comes with a healthy dollop of whipped cream which goes perfectly with every bite.
I will have to write more about dinner and lunch after I come here again. Haven't been in almost 3 years so I can't remember well enough to write about it. -

Good steaks great service but not the best that I have had but that is not to take away from their food.
The steaks are expensive, obviously, and they are good but not as tasty as Mastros or Ruth's Chris. But it's worth a try if u wanna try a new steak house. -

Went here on Sunday night for the first time with the family. Let's see...
The fresh and warm bread was AMAZING! It was so soft and moist that after about five minutes, we noticed that it was all gone.
For appetizers, we had the jumbo lump crab cake which once again, was DELICIOUS! Usually don't go for the crab cakes as some places add to much spices and fillers but this one was right on the money.
For my main course, I ordered the Rib eye. I was a bit weary ordering it as nothing has come close to the Rib eye served up in Northern CA's the Broiler. But being Morton's, I had hope. At the end, the steak was cooked spot one, it was juicy, and very flavorful. My only complaint was that it was a bit too salty.
I don't know if all Sundays are the same but the restaurant was very empty which was quite nice. There were only about four other tables being used when we arrived and the same when we left. -

I've been here SO many times, but just for the bar area. Power Hour is half the reason we come here and it's much needed after the endless hours at work. Things we typically get are the smoked salmon pizza and the steak fries, which I would recommended. The BEST value during this Power Hour is the Morton's Prime Burger. That is exceptional and large. Order it and usually can't finish it, so I have it for lunch the next day and it is still amazing. Drinks are made well, but wish they more was added to the Power Hour list. Service also done really well, allowing us to stay late on some nights for deep conversations and always attentive to what is needed in the situation. Great spot.

Took mom here as a treat.
She ordered a rib eye, which was very savory. I ordered a petite filet which tasted terrible. Mom took a bit and agreed it wasn't very good.
The waitress promptly switched it out and brought back another which was delicious. Very surprised to be served sub-par meat at Morton's but at least it was made right after I spoke up.
The grilled asparagus with vinagrette is just OK. the baked potato was awesome.
Overall, good food, good experience, knowledgeable waitress, but not quite a five star experience. -

Morton's does steak well, wine list is impressive, service is impeccable.
From business lunches to a romantic dinner for two, Morton's does not disappoint. I feel one does not have to write much about this fine establishment.
Be sure to order the Tuna Tar Tar and the Brussels Sprouts if they are available. -

I know this is a chain restaurant and people are kind of down on chain places these days, myself included. But I seriously don't care, I love this place. I rarely eat steak (or meat) and when I do I want it to be a real event. And this place totally fits the bill. The steak is delicious. And the staff is just about the nicest, most professional, knowledgeable group of people you will interact with at a restaurant.

This is like the 3rd or 4th Mortons I have been to in the LA area and the food is very consistent. Regardless of what location you go to, you can be sure that the food you get will taste and look just like what you have had at other Mortons restaurants.
What can be said? awesome steaks, great sides and excellent service. -
Review from Nutflsh Z.
Los Angeles, CA
Morton's is certainly the better, maybe even the best of the steak house chains. I would have given this location 5 stars if it weren't for the donkeys they attract during their "Happy Hour". During Happy Hour, the bar is usually full of classless, rowdy, cheap bastards that have no taste or respect for fine dining or the people around them. They don't know the difference between the house served BV or a glass of Screaming Eagle.
The Good:
Usually very good consistent steaks, good service and the management staff are ALL great and make sure you have an excellent dining experience. They also have a fabulous wine list.
The Bad:
The jackass bar scene.
The bottom line is you will usually always have a great steak here no matter which cut you prefer, it is all prime meat and cooked/prepared properly. Certainly the better of all the chains and sure to please even the snobbiest of steak and wine connoisseurs. -

Had a Great dinner there Saturday night. Service couldn't be better. Food was excellent. Drinks were mixed to perfection. Only one minor problem. When I got home I noticed all my quarters were gone from my change tray after I valet parked my car. So 5 Stars for the Restaurant - 0 Stars for the Valet Parking. (Plus-$5.50 to Valet)

Yes, I have been around... When speaking of dining at steakhouses, of course. Although there is a Morton's right downstairs of my office building in another city in L.A., this Burbank location is my favorite. I have been at this location a few times, and the reason why I return is not (only) because of the great service... It really is because the food is consistently good!
Normally, I would come here for dinner, but for a change, we had chosen this restaurant for lunch yesterday. I started my lunch with the Five Onion Soup. I never usually order soup for the appetizer, but I was told that this was worth a try here. I would have to agree that this soup is very very good. Now it is my turn to recommend this to YOU!
My favorite part of the meal is the entree: Filet Mignon, single cut. I believe that a really good quality cut of filet mignon is most beautiful served alone, or with very minimal sauce. Let me tell you about my cut of filet mignon, served medium rare... It was so tender and juicy, with the taste of a slightly charred exterior... Perrr-fection! I am going to go out on a limb and admit that the best Filet Mignon I have ever had (so far)... At this location. If you have a Foodie Bucket List, this item here must be added to your list!
The good thing about the single cut filet is that it is not too much that you won't feel like you have overeaten, and don't forget that you will also be eating the side dishes as well. With room for dessert, I got to enjoy the double chocolate mousse. And yes, I did enjoy it...with my coffee!
If you are looking for a restaurant to celebrate a special occasion, or if it is for the just-because-I-want-to-go-somewhere for a good meal, bookmark this page, make your reservations, and then find your way to Morton's in Burbank. Have a great meal! -

For an A-list kind of place in the middle of Burbank, I was a bit underwhelmed by the food and experience.
The wedge salad was HUGE and the petite filet was the right size, not to mention very good (but not AWESOME), but the portions in general were a bit large. We didn't finish our meals or order dessert because it was so much food and didn't opt to take the rest back because we were staying in a hotel nearby. I don't mind paying $$$ for a great meal, but part of what makes it a great meal is when you are served just the right amount of food so you don't roll out of the place feeling lethargic from a meat-induced food coma.
I guess I expect a bit more from a famous steak house. -

Our first time at Morton's. Saturday night. We walked in, and we were seated immediately. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. The server presented us with the menu description, complete with samples of all available items. Including a lobster - alive obviously, which I was very excited to try as I've never had lobster. However, looking at the poor thing on a plate, staring up at me as if to plead for clemency, I decided to go for the steak. But quickly, I wondered if the server was going to bring a live cow to our table to show us how fresh it was.
Anyway, all humor aside, we ordered fillet Mignon, garlic sauteed green beans, and baked potatoes. They happened to be out of baked potatoes on this particular Saturday evening, but they compensated us with our choice of another side, on the house. I chose the broccoli - and got a LOT of broccoli; and my wife chose the very large potato skins. Also, I highly recommend the Iceberg lettuce salad to start!
Everything was absolutely marvelous. And the desert - a molten lava cake with a side of vanilla ice cream was so delicious that it made us giggle while we ate it.
Yes, Morton's is without a doubt extremely expensive. In total, we spent about one car payment on dinner for two (a USED car payment mind you, but still...). but for an occasional once in a while sit down, it is absolutely worth it. -

I've been a huge fan of Morton's for years and been to many locations for business meetings, dates and events. Every time I order the same thing- single cut filet and every time it's done perfectly. Kudos to Morton's for consistency and high quality meats.
We came here for NYE dinner and though it was crowded we were seated right away and had extremely attentive service (bordering on too attentive). Their wedge salad has wonderful blue cheese dressing with fresh crumbles and bacon that I absolutely love. We ordered shrimp alexander and bacon wrapped scallops with our steaks- so good! The shrimp were so melt in your mouth good I was sad I didn't order more. Dessert was chocolate lava cake and cheesecake which we took home and devoured within a couple hours. Both were fantastic. I highly recommend both...... well actually I recommend everything I've ever had there.......
This would have been a 5 star rating if it had not been for one thing. At the end of the meal I requested to have the bread wrapped up to take home with everything else. When someone came to clean up the table they scraped the crumbs up and up it on the plate with the bread and also put an empty sauce boat on the bread plate as well before taking it away. I joked "well I guess we're not taking that bread home". Not a big deal as it was only about a slice or two worth of bread. However when we got home and opened the doggie bag I saw the bread wrapped up. Ewwwww, not a fan of bread after someone has put table crumbs they scraped using the same took they use to clean everyone else's table. Big food safety violation.
Other than that everything and everyone was worth the money it costs to eat there. As usual they'll be seeing me again soon. -

Took the in laws to Morton's while they were in town. I have to say, this location is not their best ,atmosphere and looks wise. Other than that, the food was good.
Their chocolate cake a must. Try the Grille at either location in Hollywood for fine steak with a warmer vibe. -

Let's see, fun experience, me and a couple buddies looking for some good steak, went online with our Iphones and checked out Yelp!, didn't pay attention to the price and Morton's just popped out with 4 stars, we thought to ourselves, "Cool, it's near Burbank!" We fought our way through traffic and found the front door, when we went in, we were in sandals and jeans, with 12 dollar t-shirts from Ross and one of us was carrying a backpack, while everybody else in the restaurant had tailor-fitted suits and haircuts done by Brad Pitt's stylist, we knew we were in trouble, while the really nice and snickering waiter showed us to our table, we knew deserts were outta the question.
Putting our embarrassing attires aside, the bread was spectacular, appetizers were superb, steaks were super duper awesome, I had the double cut filet mignon, the steak literally melts in your mouth, creating an awesomeness humanly impossible to describe, now if only the other customers didn't see my toes wiggle, I would've had an even more enjoyable dinner. -

Went for my birthday dinner last year. I recalled that parking was confusing in the lot underground. Validate my car...as well as my existence please.
Dining room is immaculate. Service was top of the game. My server was attentive, humorous, suggestive without too much pressure and he was cute as a button.
Well, Morton's is famous for steaks and I got exactly what I wanted. I started with a lively salad. Enjoyed the aged premium steak with a side of asparagus. They brought me a comp cake slice for my birthday.
Human zoo aspect was very low since this location does not seem to have as much traffic as the Beverly Center adjacent location. We went on a Sunday night and it was very serene. A few elderly diners and a disheveled rocker couple type canoodling near by. Recommended for intimacy! -

Lunchtime review
I love Morton's. I've been several times for various company outings and the service has always been stellar and professional.
Morton's is definitely not the place you think of for lunch, but my fellow 'hounds alerted me to a sleeper on the menu: the $15 lunchtime hamburger.
It's a classic American hamburger (your choice of cheese, lettuce, tomato) and comes with your choice of mushrooms, grilled onions, or bacon (the menu says OR, but in reality, you can replace OR with AND!) and 13oz of wet aged, prime ground sirloin.
Now, there are very, very few burgers made with this level of beef (Father's Office is the only other one that comes to mind) and my god is it delicious. Every single bite permeates...beefiness. A truly epic burger, and at $15 is a whopping bargain.
Me and the GF split the burger and left comatose.
Morton's also has the best key lime pie I've ever had, but it's a whopping $10. I leave with a slice every time. -

Just another review, I know. Not much i can put here that you haven't read below, but I'm a chick who works with kids ALL DAY LONG and this is for the little people. Well, I don't actually mean the little people. I mean the--I just changed out of my jeans and sweatshirt and now i get to put on a dress and be a big girl.
I walk in with my Almond champagne for the birthday boy's 60th. It's really his 30th but that's so OLD *wink*. We are seated in the private rooms which is really cool. Looks like the billiard room from clue. We have one waitress, one wine guy, and a dude who doesn't speak just does as he's told. Cool. Cocktails average priced, Makers on the rocks a tad overpriced at $10.
The wine list on the other hand was huge and I was surprised that they had bottle prices ranging from $34--Malibu Mortgages. We ordered Osborne Merlot/Temperanillo 2003 for $39. Fair. A word of warning to those who are just borrowing class for the evening: please don't fill your wine glass to what looks like half way, the glasses are meant to airraid more particularly than a normal sized glass! *Kristy owns her wine snobbery and hangs head in shame at most of her friends*
When you have a bday here they draw up your own private menu too, that was fun.
Grub:
--Ocean platter for two: oysters rockefeller; creamy spinich, cooked just right, the filling is like a buttery olive oil--so tasty! Cajun Prawns; huge, a little flavorless if possible, little dry. Crab Cake; my least favorite, dry. Bacon-wrapped scallop; my whole reason for agreeing to Morton's, the scallop was melt-in-you-mouth, savory, buttery and while I loved it and it was very meaty I was dissappointed in the one strip of bacon that didn't stay wrapped around the scallop. So I'm left with a bittersweet feeling.
--Baked five Onion Soup; chunks of thick cheesiness, huge onions, the broth could've been even more tasty though
--Cajun ribeye--he ordered it medium, which I would not have done, but it was pretty pink, so expected a little more tenderness, but was A-ok for a ribeye. The cajon seasoning was delicious. Just spicy and thick enough.
--Double Cut filet--cooked to perfection, melted in your mouth.
The sides are on their own plates and big enough to share. They give you all the bread you want. Not a bad place for your average theatre teacher cum Swanky Morton's Night Owl -

*For Happy Hour*
Morton's has an AMAZING happy hour! I want to go back NOW! We I entered I was instantly greeted by one of the bartenders, Susan. She asked if I had ever been there before and since I hadn't, she went over the food and drinks options and the prices. She was delightful.
Their happy hour (they refer to it as Power Hour) offers beer ($4), wine ($5), and 5 different mixed cocktails ($7). I started with the Cosmo and then followed that with a Gin "Mortini". Both were very strong.
Power Hour Cosmo - $7
But the best part of this happy hour is the food. All their "Bar Bites" are just $5. Yes, lots of restaurants offer $5 options but the servings are usually small. Well, Morton's servings were amazing. Since they were just $5, I splurged and ordered three plates. I went with the Mini Crab Cakes, Jumbo Lump Crab, Spinach, and Artichoke Dip, and the Petite Filet Mignon Sandwiches. That's right... filet mignon for $5!! You get four mini sandwiches cooked to order, and they were done perfectly. It was a hard call, but I think I have to say that the Crab and Artichoke Dip was my favorite. It was a good size serving and came with a good amount of soft bread toasted perfectly. The Crab Cakes were the only thing I didn't like. They aren't traditional crab cakes and weren't crisp.
Throughout my meal, Susan (the bartender) kept checking in on me. She was an excellent server, along with being the bartender. She handed the bar and the tables with another girl. The manager also visited the bar area checking on guests. Morton's definitely goes out of their way to make sure their customers are pleased.
Oh! Another plus is that their happy hour is daily and they also offer a late night happy hour starting at 9pm. I can't wait to go back! Wanna go??? Do ya, do ya, do ya????

'I can't get no satisfaction

Dear Arnie Morton-
After our date last night and all the coy flirting, I admit I was more bashful than usual. I apologize I am usually not so timid but what big meat you have! I was flustered with excitement and anxious with anticipation to have you in my mouth.
On-line there were so many sexy pictures that were teasing my eyes and I longed to taste you. I find you mouth watering. I was so enticed to see for myself what others had told me about all you had to offer. Not that I listen to what people say but I was very intrigued.
Your rib-eye was so thick and juicy, cooked to a wonderful pink and reddish medium rare or shall I say cooked to perfection? -You really know what a girl wants.
I won't call it regret but I just was slightly disappointed by the lack of fore play once I arrived at your place. Arnie you popped my Morton cherry! Like every virgin- I just didn't know what to expect. Maybe you were tried from a long day? I'm not saying we had 'a quickie' but I just thought you would be a little more condersiderate because it was my first time. But like every virgin I was somewhat left with the thought "that's it?" Don't get me wrong you were wonderful but your performance just wasn't what others told me it would be. All the girls like you so much, maybe you just dont really like me?
The extra affection the giant baked potato, button mushrooms and yummy warm bread was delicious. The 2006 bottle of Cab was smooth as ever! You really knew what it took to get a girl going. The large shrimps were marvelous. I guess I just feel like you didn't get to know me too well and you didn't care about my feelings that much. I will shed no tears! But I am confident that when I drunk dial you, you will show and explain all you have to offer- you will roll your cart of meat out for me and promise me the moon and stars of flavor.
You know I love chocolate and I would have enjoyed a Hershey bar more than the cake you gave me. Is there someone else? I am doubtful that I am the only one. Even if the boat is small it's the motion of the ocean right? Well I can't get to London in a row boat mister without any current! (Not that your boat was small... 16 oz is more than enough for me!)
Let's just be friends..
It's me not you. Maybe I will see you around sometime?... -

What?! How has someone NOT reviewed this location yet. Talk about wheeler dealer, shaker money maker studio power player central.
Bad, bad Valley-ites!!
First of all there's the MEAT. As a true meat lover, this place is one of those places where the right side of the menu seems to blur in my mind, because if I want a steak that's worth auctioning off grandma for, I'm willing to pay! That said Morton's delivers. A few weeks back I had a porterhouse steak that was absolutely insane. Perfectly cooked, melt in your MOUF perfecto!
Then there's the steak salad. When I'm not feeling like a total meat whore, I will opt for this as the dressing is divine and it's big enough to either satisfy a starving girl on her lunch break or share with a co-worker. Although, who are we kidding....get your own!! Grrrr :)
Now those are all fine and dandy, but now let's get to the reason that people's eyes literally roll back in their heads at the mere mention of it. We're talking about none other than the Chocolate Velvet Cake. I am not a religious person, but after breaking into this cake with a fork and seeing the divine streams of chocolate love pour out of it as it dances with the vanilla ice cream, you may just get me to agree to anything as I chant "Oh, my GOD" til the plate is licked clean.
If you haven't tried it, go for the cake, go for the steak and really anything on the menu. If you want the religious/orgasmic experience of the Velvet cake, you'll need to order it at the beginning of your meal, but don't worry, those dessert savvy servers won't let you forget about that one....and GOD do I love them for that!! -

My favorite steakhouse by far!!! They bring out all the meats in the beginning so you can choose your favorite cut. Bone in Rib eye of course...medium rare. The outer crust is perfectly charred and the middle is warm and buttery. I just wet myself thinking about it. The sides are so so...but you MUST order the BEST souffle ever here. Splurge a little on a good bottle of wine as well...anything less will detract from the great meat.
Spend the money...you'll be talking about it for awhile. I know it...
