The unique flavors had us coming back for more! Visited 3 times.
The scoops are so generous. We love that the flavors are intense but not too sweet.
Every time we were there, we saw a steady stream of customers with many being locals.
Definitely a favorite spot.

Great creamy ice cream! The menu had about 10-15 flavors listed so I wish they had a couple more options, but I really liked the 2 that I tried! The options were also very unique which I thought was fun. I like trying new creations! The place itself was also adorable and the workers were super friendly!

If you are in town, this place is a MUST! THEY HAVE GLUTEN FREE WAFFLE CONES!! The ice cream is made right there and is incredible. Best I've cream I've ever had. The place is super cute and quaint too. They even have blankets on the porch to use if your cold! The staff was so friendly too!

My favorite place to get ice cream milkshakes in Ellsworth and MDI. They have a variety of ice cream flavors and desserts for every discerning palate.

Service is always friendly and attentive. During the summer, there may be a line out the door but it is always worth the wait.

My family would spend a week each summer in Ellsworth, and this was our go-to dessert place! Morton's Moo is much more than your average small ice cream parlor. They have a fantastic selection of flavors and friendly staff. Not to mention the really cool model trains that they display! Unfortunately, this past summer was the last for my crew, so I am sure going to miss this place.

Delicious ice cream, a great Father's Day lunch. Every flavor we tried was excellent, as well as the homemade waffle cones. Staff are super friendly and knowledgeable. We will be back.

My boyfriend & I generally avoid visiting a restaurant/establishment twice during vacation so we get the most out of our trips, but Morton Moo's ice cream was so good we stopped by on back to back days!Definitely one of the best spots in Ellsworth!

The ice cream was delicious and the staff were so friendly. This place is very family friendly between the wide selection of desserts that aren't ice cream to the super friendly staff. The atmosphere was so happy inside that I left with a smile on my face.

I must say that this was one of the best ice cream places I've ever tried--and let me assure you, I have tried 100s. It's a good sized ice cream shop with several varieties of ice creams and sorbets. They also have baked goods, but we did not try any of those. My husband ordered the peanut butter and chocolate shake and I had the dark chocolate ice cream in a homemade waffle cone. The waffle cone was extra, but it was absolutely incredible. It had a hint of cinnamon and was freshly baked. The consistency of the ice cream was almost like a custard, it was so smooth. Loved this place with their courteous, over worked staff.

Not embarrassed to say we went here 3 times during our week long stay in Ellsworth! Hands down BEST whoopie pies in town... and milkshakes... and ice cream. Extremely friendly staff as well.
