27 holes for $45 including cart?

Yes, please.

By far, Ranch GC, has some of the most scenic and well-kept greens I've ever played on.  Overlooking the desert landscape as you tee off a panoramic mountain top is quite a spiritual feeling.  Losing at least a dozen golf balls in the rough?  Not so much, but I can only blame my skill for that.

Nevertheless, playing here is something magical.  Yes, I said magical.

I have a strong belief that the quality of toilet paper at any joint is directly proportional to the quality of the place you're at.  Not saying that I take dumps everywhere, but cheap toilet paper (like the single ply ones where you are praying that it's strong enough to swipe your ass w/o it breaking mid-way) usually equals ghetto place.  Just think public restrooms.  

Well what a great surprise when the morning coffee kicked in today at 7am before my tee time.   I was welcomed by "Charmin-TOP OF THE LINE-ass heaven" paper.  And that's just the beginning of what a great golf outing it is today.  

Everything where was TOP NOTCH CLASS!  Are you a golfer?  You know that 18 is just not enough...but that's all you endure in LA/OC b/c you can't stand waiting and waiting and waiting for every shot.  Well get this, we played 36 today!  In 8 hours, we got 36 holes and had  time to sit down to have some lunch!  *sigh*  what a great time.  36 holes only cost us 75 bucks... with unlimited play.  I would play longer but judging by the quality of my rice tan, i had to quit.

The course conditions were amazing.  Fairways were well maintained and the greens rolled true.   They have 27 holes so you won't be bored w/ the typical driver + short iron approach.  But the best party?  no waiting!  no waiting!  It typically takes 5.5 hrs to finish a round in LA..here, we finished our rounds in a little under 4 for 18.  

Oh, and don't forget to get the hamburger cart.  5 bucks for the best burger any golf course can provide.  I mean it.  

Usually, the only reason anyone ventures out to the 909 is to pick up your weekly supply of methamphetamine....but now, I have a new reason!  Moreno Valley Ranch!  5 stars!
