Moonstone Park
1 review for Moonstone Park
Where the hell is Moonstone Park? I have lived in Redondo for more than 13 years and never knew this park existed and now I know why.
You know where the power plant is with the Wayland painting and there is that little street running between the Spectrum and the Blue Water Grill? Well you take that street and go to the gate and pay $8 for the day to park in the Marina area and straight back at the end on the left hand side is Moonstone Park.
I came here today to go to a picnic with the Redondo Beach Fire Department was having for it's CERT members http://www.yelp.com/bi... . The park is really just a medium sized lawn with nothing else but it is located next to their harbor station and it along the harbor.
They had a big BBQ grill with hamburgers and hotdogs and we brought the sides.
Luckily they did not charge us for parking since we were with the FD but no one goes there and if you have a big group and want a lawn you don't have to stake out an area if you come here.
Just carpool or ride your bikes.
