First time here and this place is amazing. A little overwhelming with the large menu and being so busy but they got us right in on a Friday night. The pizza, stuffed banana peppers and fried zucchini were all great. Not much of an ambiance and The hustle and bustle was a bit much but we will be back.

Still a really good restaurant with friendly service and delicious food. The wedding soup hasn't changed. It's one of my favorites in the area. They got rid of my favorite meal on the menu (manicotti), but they have shells stuffed with cheese, which is very similar.
Going there with someone in a walker is a bit difficult and I can't imagine dealing with a wheelchair there. There are stairs on one side of the entrance and a curb on the other. If they have a ramp anywhere, I've never seen it.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Oct 19, 2023
By far the best pizza! My wife snd I like the Chicago style. Thick with tomato chunks. Very tasty crust! And my personal favorite is the stuffed banana peppers! Monte Cello sauce is unmatched. It is so good!
We sit in the bar section which has a very large bar and booths. Lots of TVs with sports on all the time! And the service is ALWAYS great!
This is my wife and my favorite local restaurant. Can't go wrong with Monte Cellos!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Brian K.Splendora, TX0794Mar 12, 2024Updated review
Knocking down to a 3 after trying the lasagna. Gross. The soup is okay but the bread is the weight and consistency of a hockey puck.

I agree with the current average of 3.5 stars. Monte Cello's is a local chain restaurant that serves mostly Italian foods. I had previously rated the location in Ross Township as 5 stars, so I felt excited to try this location in Cranberry Township.
Upon my entering the restaurant, I saw a few employees standing near the door. The seating hostess walked my husband and me back to a booth. My seat had crumbs on it from a previous customer, and my husband and I both commented that our seats felt hard rather than comfortable.
Our waitress soon arrived and gave us menus to look at. I felt disappointed that the menu for this location did not list some foods from the menu for Ross. For example, this menu did not have entrees such as shrimp scampi or sides such as breadsticks. The menu listed several entrees, but it included mostly simple pizzas, wings, salads, hoagies, calzones, strombolis, sandwiches, and pastas.
Our waitress waited to put in our order for our entrees, so we waited a little while for those foods to come out. Later, we asked her for drink refills, and she brought them out. I rate our appetizer combo platter of fried zucchini, cauliflower, mushrooms, provolone sticks, onion rings, and jalapeno poppers as 3.5 stars. I rate my entree of stuffed shells as 4 stars. I rate my husband's chicken parmesan as 4 stars. Our total bill was $50 plus a tip.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Oren S.PA, PA14283Mar 16, 2024
Friday, March 15, 2024 was my first time here. The parking lot was packed when my family and I arrived at 7:15. We found that the restaurant was almost full. I was pleased to be seated immediately in a rather small booth. The selection of items is dazzling, practically everything one could ask for at an Italian restaurant: a great appetizer, pizza, and entree selection plus draft and bottled beer and wines. Our server was adequate and lackluster: no personality, no charm. The food was generally okay. I was disappointed with the fried zucchini and fried cauliflower. My steak/bermuda onion/ranch pizza was pretty good. We also ordered a cheeseburger, macaroni and cheese, penne pasta with alfredo sauce, and french fries. Prices are reasonable. Overall, I would take Primanti Brothers over Monte Cello's.

Ordered Delivery. We ordered buffalo chicken salad without fries and onion but they didn't remove, annoying but still good. The spinach rolls were good but they didn't include the side of sauce. The stuffed banana peppers were good but very small. They should include more than two if the peppers are that small. Food good but they need to pay more attention to the details. We usually order pizza or pepperoni rolls and always good.

Used Monte Cellos for Christmas party catering this year. The food received rave reviews, they showed up on time, and their packaging kept everything piping hot. The delivery guy was courteous and quick. On the price side the value was definitely there. I would recommend and use again! Great job!
