You DO NOT go here for the food! This is an INTENSELY local joint and if you are a LOCAL, you will not know what I am talking about.
John, the bartendar on Fridays, gives gooood pours and is friendly. The owners of the golf course and restaurant are good people (I have hear that they invite their "regular" patrons, who do not have family, to their Thanksgiving dinner).
Look, you don't like dive bars? Forget this place. If you appreciate a strong pours, good bartender, and local gossip.... well, I can't imagine any other place than this....
They serve toe cheese and burp burgers. Avoid.
