So, our lil guy was turning 7. He has 30 kids in his class. It was winter. We could not fit them all in our house and we were not going to invite some and not others because, of course we did not want to hurt any feelings! We rented out Monster Golf! We had the entire place and entire staff to ourselves! We did not have to worry about anyone snatching up kid or anything. Being as young as they all were, they were all handed a club and a ball, told not to hit anything but the ball and set free! Some parents took their kids through and kept score, some parents hung out in the party room chatting while their kids ran about having a blast. I really liked the idea that I could tell parents that they were more than welcomed to bring siblings along as there was plenty of room. I had NO CLEANING TO DO! The staff (Cindy) was amazing in keeping me and the party on track. This party was so easy and I even had time to socialize. This was the first party though that I choose not to have my child open presents in front of the kids. I could not imagine tearing them all away from their fun to sit and watch him open them. I just ran the idea of not doing past a few parents and all agreed.
Drake was given a Monster Golf T-shirt, turned into a mummy with prize tickets, given a card for 300 more tickets and had his glowing hand print and name put up on the wall! Every guest got a free pass to come back and play, 100 tickets, an eye patch and glowing vampire teeth.
One fun thing that we did was at a costume shop on Madison and Fair Oaks, I bought UV face paints to paint snakes, spiders, webs and skulls on the kids faces. They looked awesome under the black lights.
They all had a really fun time and that was the goal. It was well worth the money to us! Thanks to the staff at Monster Golf!

The first time we went, my 6 yr old was attending a childs birthday party so my daughter (10) and I… Read more »
Came the other night with my dad and brother for pop's birthday. Since it was a Thursday and 2 of us were students only paid $11 for two and $7.50 for my dad. It was pretty chill, and we had fun goofing around attempting to make these crazy shots, I somehow managed two holes in one in a row?! I was like yeah son! haha but yeah back to the place... they also had a mini (MINI) arcade area with an awesome game of deal or no deal and a few others. I like the decorations and music a lot. Maybe I'll take the bf :)
If you're sagacious enough to keep this thing in perspective and rate it for what it is, this is thumbs-up all the way.
Was our first time there as a family of three with our six year old daughter. She was new to black lights and the idea of the monsters and webs and ghouls outside of Halloween-time was a big hit.
It's clever, fun, and refreshing.
No, it's not a place for 20-something's to go of their own accord and "hang" while hearing the latest top-40, and yes the layout of the holes leaves something to be desired if you're looking for an "ergonomic" layout, but it is what it is, and that's just fine!

This was a friends idea to go miniature golfing. I haven't been in years and it might be a few more years till I actually go!
The wait was 1 hour so we decided to play in the arcade.
The whole black light, glow in the dark thing was kinda interesting as I got to see my teeth and fingernails glow as well as all the lint on my red sweater.
Who knew a bunch of 30-somethings could have so much fun playing skee ball, air hockey and other arcade games to get tickets to trade for plastic, cheap toys. LOL
It was fun though...might actually get to play mini golf next time!

Wound up at Monster Mini Golf after searching for another indoor mini golf establishment that had recently closed...
Arrived and there was zero wait, place appeared full but the mini golfers moved along quickly. The angles are crazy and there aren't any hills or water hazards--pretty basic mini golf design/layout. The music was terrible, oldies throw backs, but it was obvious the kids there dug-it. They do not have a snack bar, only water and snack dispensers. They do not check bags for food and drinks so if you go I advise you pack in. To do all 18 holes took about an hour. We had a decent time, will not be going back. We were not there with kids of our own. Most likely, kids over 2 and under 10 yrs will dig it.
It's no boomers. I really liked the whole concept of indoor mini golf but this place was just kind of lame. I only had fun because it was my nephew's birthday but other than that, it gets no stars. Not really good for anyone who is over the age of 10. The courses were all tightly packed and the scary theme just came off as cheap decorations. The arcade was very small with just a few games which came out in the early 90s.
The whole blacklight, glow-in-the-dark thing is unique and kind of cool for about 1 minute. The actual mini-golfing? Mostly consists of a lot of weird u-turn angles so that many holes can fit into one room. Some of the angles so odd that you can't even see what hole you're shooting for. You'll be shouting, "WHAT DID YOU SAY?" to hear your golf partners over the music. Not for me.
