Monro Auto Service and Tire Centers

I had a problem with my engine oil flowing through an open oil cap. I took it to Monro and the staff were super nice. They pointed out that there was nothing wrong with the engine oil system and didn't even charge me for it. Highly recommend them based on their treatment of customers and the courtesy of staff.

Had an APPOINTMENT to get my car inspected last Thursday and they called to cancel as I was pulling in. The guy said his inspector went home, even though I had an appointment. I was frustrated but rescheduled for today. The guy said he would take $10 off for the inconvenience. They called me this morning to cancel AGAIN. My inspection is past due and I am extremely frustrated and disappointed. I do NOT recommend this place, simply because they are completely unreliable. Only gave one star because I have to.

I brought my Kia to be inspected last week. the guy told me I needed a new wheel bearing. mind you I had already had my entire car looked over in March. and then it sat for about a month. This week I took it to A and A in Morrisville, and it passed with only needing an alignment and tires. Told ya that ya were joke!!!! DONT GO HERE, they clearly do not know what they are doing!!!!!!

There was a miscommunication about the type of oil that I wanted in my car so I asked that it be changed to semi synthetic after they had put conventional in.

Meanwhile the guy was writing down the mileage of when to change the oil again after putting in the conventional oil (before I realized that it was only conventional oil) and I said oh it's good until 225k miles (which was 8k more than were on the car) and he in a laughing tone said "No way. What? Do you change your oil every 8000 miles?" (I don't know much about cars and I felt stupid).

Back to getting the conventional oil switched to semi synthetic-One of the shop workers threw an absolute fit when I wanted the other type of oil and was cussing and yelling and I actually felt unsafe and like a burden.

I eventually got the oil that I needed along with an apology and the service was very fast but this review reflects my experience.

Very fast service. Staff seemed knowlagdable and explained everthing to me. Love the idea of life time breakes. Well see how the stick to their commitment in the future. Will be going back with my wifes car.

Very kind, great service! Took a little longer than I expected, but overall I was pleased and will come back.

The service manager Tony is very knowledgeable about all the services I need. Explains all options and is very friendly.
