My son, husband, and I went as guests to my niece's 5th birthday party today at Monkey Bizness.  I have to say, when it gets to be his 5th birthday I am absolutely going to check out the prices/availability to book his party there!  Here's my review:

LOCATION:  Obscure (east on Easter from the Traildust restaurant in DTC).  It's at the end of a parking lot of a ton of industrial and commercial warehouse-looking buildings which all look very clean and new - the area is definitely not pervaded by McDonald's and plentiful shopping.  But it was still easy to find due to good signage.

CLEANLINESS:  I have not one complaint!  I didn't take a white glove around with me, but from the moment we walked in to the minute we left, everything was clean, spotless, and didn't make me want to swipe at everything with a wetwipe. :)

THE EXPERIENCE:  It's very organized and well-thought-out in my opinion.  Here's how it goes:
- Entry - each parent signs in the child they're bringing (whether they're staying for the party or not) including emergency contact info.  Then the children/parents are directed to a "Waiting Room" for so-and-so's party.
- Waiting Room - it's just that.  Small (but not too small) with seating around the walls, and 2 bins marked "Shoes" and "Gifts" so you can easily deposit your party gift and shoes for after you all go play on the equipment.
- Play Area - AWESOME!  It's a huge room full of huge assorted things for the kids (and adults!) to play on.  Our included a bouncy house, a massive air-filled slide, a huge climbing apparatus, a supervised rock climbing wall, a smaller playground area with smaller slides/toys/crawling tunnels for the little ones, another inflated bouncy obstacle course, air hockey table, and a basketball hoop.
**The very best part - it's a PRIVATE Play Area for your party!  Only your guests and their parents are allowed into your Play Area, so you are far more at ease to let your kid(s) run around without worrying about that strange dirty old pedophile who might sneak in and whisk your kid away - it makes it so you know and see everyone in the room and anyone who doesn't belong is instantly recognized.
- Dining Room - After an hour (not sure if that's a set time for all parties) we adjourned to a dining room which was a bunch of kiddie-sized tables lined up, and all were provided with pizza (Blackjacks), soda/lemonade, plates, cups, utensils, etc.  There's a counter & sink for anyone who needs to clean up as well.

Our boy had hit his limit since we were beyond his afternoon nap time, so we left before the cake and presents made their appearance, but I was overall entirely impressed by the way this place was run.  All of the kids and their parents (myself included) had a great, safe time.  The staff was completely courteous, clean, professional, and friendly.
