Great little boutique in Highlands. Don't let their limited and kind of boring website dissuade you from dropping by. The clothing and accessories are true artistry. We all get tired of the same old fashion lines and labels, this boutique is where you will find fun-unique-full of life fashion. I like that if I try on something that I may not be sure of the fit, I'll receive honest feedback from the staff. Too tight or too loose is not good fashion! There is no sales pressure karma to fear! You can wonder in and look without feeling like you are a target. Then you can go have tea or a glass of wine at one of the near by cafes.

I just picked up a bunch of Feng Shui kitties for all of my girlfriends. At $9 a feline, they're affordable and they have meaning! There are four colors and depending on where you put them, they will do different things for you...because they are magical Feng Shui meow meows. (Hold up. does red mean money or does yellow?) No matter, they don't do harm.
Everything in here is funky and original. The BAGS are so so so fun and/or artsy, and/or plain gorgeous. And I'm not sure why I couldn't stop touching the crocheted skirt that looks like an afghan my mom crafted when I was a kid, but I so wanted to wear it. There are beautiful, sophisticated candles and a line of cards that are three-dimensional and shaped like a flower. Can you imagine getting that from the postal service? Gah. I love it here.

Mona kicks ass. Seems rough - but no other boutique can outlast our out-do Mona Lucero. First, she makes all her stuff. Who does that these days? Made in America? Unheard of! She has awesome style and taste and she makes clothes that fit REAL women! Second, she has flair. She cultivates a whole new breed of style... which Denver has been known to lack! Mona Lucero has sustained the small business dread - going on her 4th year now. Mona Lucero has been named one out of 100 small Indie Boutiques in the country. She rocks - no doubt about it!
I don't know where to begin. When Mona dresses my models,( beautiful women, yes, but not professionals,) she brings out what is most beautiful in them. Maybe their silouette, the small of the back, the wrist, she always nails it!
I also love finding her unique "wrap" under my christmas tree every year! (thanks boys....)
Savvy shoppers who snub standard store labels spice up their wardrobes with eclectic indie lines from this metro-chic boutique in Denver's burgeoning Highlands neighborhood. Owner and designer Mona Lucero, a spirited 40-something fashionista who sewed and button-holed her way through New York's Fashion Institute of Technology, outfits her modish, brick-walled emporium with funky mix and match threads, handbags, shoes, and jewelry, the majority of which are created by up-and-coming local designers and Lucero herself, whose own trademark line comprises nearly half of the shop's inventory. And Lucero's self-appointed tagline -- "devotion to style" -- is everywhere apparent, from the kaleidoscopic, eye-popping window displays and kitschy ceramic artwork to the weathered wooden tables displaying recycled bracelets --- crafted from bicycle intertubes and waterbed liners -- by Rethunk. The shop's diverse stock constantly changes, but must-have-it-now essentials include hand painted tees and denim skirts, whimsy dresses, gorgeous A-line skirts, belt buckles created from men's ties, and luxe shrugs. With prices maxing out at $325, Lucero's approach to fashion is both affordable and practical, but never predictable. The same goes for the curator's taste in tunes: saunter into her store, and shimmy to an energetic mix of independent mash-ups and house music while forging for the perfect pair of heels.
