Best place for casual romantic outdoor dining in Vegas.
Mon Ami Gabi is located in the Paris Hotel, directly across from the water show at the Bellagio. They don't take reservations, so please plan to arrive early and put your name on the list. Wait time is usually an hour. Ask to be seated outside, especially if this is your first time in Vegas and the weather permits.
3 stars for food
4 stars for the view
This is a really great way to enjoy the view of the strip. Smile. You're in VEGAS!
Maybe I am losing my mind, but I thought the breakfast menu here used to be a little more French. The breakfast offerings were hard to distinguish from an average slightly fussy brunch place in the Bay Area. Example: the French toast was called "french toast" and not "pain perdu", and there was nothing on the menu that reminded me of eating in Paris.
My omlette was just fine, though more American than French in style (big and fluffy), but my better half's crepes were so bad that she had to send them back. The server acknowledged that she did not like that dish, nor do many of their guests. I saw another guest's crepe go nearly uneaten as well. The coffee was so-so.
Service was a little slow at times, but server was happy to substitute another dish for said crepes. The atmosphere (al fresco on the strip) has always been the draw here, but the breakfast was unremarkable.
Good, but not extraordinary.
We had reservations and sat inside where it's a bustling, dark bistro adorned with woods and earth tones. Our waitress was slow and seemed a little sleepy, we had to ask a busboy for cutlery when she failed to bring us some. We also asked the same busboy for water.
We had steak and frites. The steak was a hanger steak with lots of flavor. The frites were also tasty and has a rustic homemade look. We shared profiteroles for dessert and they were very nice.
The outside patio is large and overlooks the strip with a view of the Bellagio. I believe reservations can only be made for indoors and the patio has a waitlist.
This is a solid restaurant with good food. It sits comfortably between fine dining and budget buffets.
3 stars only because this spoiled brat had better French cuisine in San Francisco.
We had:
-Escargots de Bourgogne
-Chicken Liver Mousse .... this was the best dish i've had here.
-Skate
-Filet Mignon Au Poivre
-Chocolate Tarte
-Profiteroles
None were bad but nothing new or surprising except for the Chicken Liver Mousse.
This company also owns Big Bowl, which requires some level of mental deficiency to like; had I known that going into the restaurant, I would have skipped it entirely and went with a $4 breakfast buffet where I could enjoy similar food and at a reasonable price.
Before even ordering our entree I knew we were in trouble. Apparently, I had accidentally asked for lukewarm coffee which was an off-menu special while I had actually intended to order hot coffee.
My disappointment of choice was the dreadful corned beef hash. A simple dish for a simple person, so I expected to like it. It was entirely too greasy and oily. My date had the eggs benedict, which were just average. My potatoes were terrible.
Our waitress was nice, she was sufficiently attentive. The restaurant is not expensive, but the food was not good at all.
We wanted to try this restaurant, so we did. We probably won't return. Maybe dinner is better, but considering the quality of these easy breakfast dishes, my doubts are quite strong.
This is consistently a great restaurant to go to on The Strip: the service is great and the food is fantastic.
The typical thing to order are the Steak and Frites, which are always a great option. There are plenty of great steak options and all are great quality beef. Even the bread that arrives with dinner is fresh and steaming and perfect when you add the butter to it...the bread also arrives with a brined/pickled carrot slaw/salad that is surprisingly good - tangy with a bit of spice and perfect with buttered bread. The wine list is great and one can find something that suits their palate - I had a Pinot Nior that was delicate, but stood up to the strong flavor of the beef. The desserts are also really good - profiteroles, chocolate cake, bread pudding.
What to say about this establishment, but exsquisite. The staff was friendly, and for the high demand of the outdoor dining area, the wait wasn't unreasonable. The food? Every dish we sampled was a new and different taste. Great salads, lovely smoked salmon, even the escargot, it being my first time, was well prepared with it's own distinct flavor. This place deserves 5 stars, outright, but for *one* huge factor. It doesn't have a bathroom. Period. You physically have to leave the restaurant if you want to/have to use the facilities, and that detracts from the ambience that they work so hard to create. Other than that? Absolutely worth it.
I really enjoyed this restaurant prior to my last visit. The quality of food was lower than previous visits. My husband's onion soup had an unappetizing proportion of cheese to soup. It was pretty much a big bowl of cheese. I ordered the scallops which were overly salted and I tend to like my food a little more salty than others.
We sat outside overlooking the fountain at the Bellagio which was awesome. This place has a great view of the strip.
While eating, my husband and I noticed an employee (we assumed a manager) who kept running around talking into a mouthpiece loudly about which stage of dining everyone was on. For example, "Just cleared apps." or "Currently on main dishes". We both found this a little annoying. We waited for a table for over an hour and didn't want to feel rushed when it was our turn to eat.
Outside dining makes this good restaurant five stars to me -- especially on a night where it cools off and you can watch the light shows of the Bellagio.
The Steak Frites are delightful! It's a steak place and you should most certainly try a cut. The desserts might send you into insulin shock.
Great location and food!
Wish i was with a man... but i was with my 40 somthing GF, we wanted good food.... so we decided to have a romantic dinner lol
Very Romantic... perfect for couples!
The food was amazeing.....our waiter was hilarious...he wass so sweet and cute..... he recommended the special of the night to me... i went with that.... it was so really good!
I will definatly return... hopefully next time with the oppisite sex!
Very crowded on a weekday morning, so we had to wait about 15 minutes for a table outside. We just went into the casino and gambled a little bit to kill time. Paris is a really cute hotel so it was really a lot of fun!
Our buzzer began buzzing so we made it back to the restaurant, were seated outside, and began to eat outside faux Paris in this cute restaurant.
I came here because I knew that when I was in Vegas two years ago that I went to a restaurant in Paris (not remembering the name), but definitely remembering the really good food.
So I am back again (in the correct place) and the food was excellent! Excellent omelette with hash browns. Very tasty and good coffee too.
I would definitely return, as the prices are not too bad and the food was VERY tasty. Gouda cheese is awesome in an omelette!
Romantic weekend in Vegas with the lady friend and wanted to have a nice steak. Walked into Mon Ami Gabi without reservations and was told by the hostess that if we sat inside the restaurant we could be sat immediately.
I'm not really fond of the whole faux-Paris experience anyways and would never wait 3 hours for a table on the patio... because at the end of the day, you are still in Las Vegas not France... We were sat at a nice table by the window and began the evening.
The staff and service was excellent... never once did we have to ask for anything. Our server was polite and charming. Placed the napkin on my girlfriend's lap and made sure the wine glass was never empty.
I ordered the Steak Béarnaise with frites. A tender piece of flat steak cooked rare and served with a classic Béarnaise sauce. I thought it was pretty good until I had a bite of my date's entrée and then wanted to cry.
My girlfriend ordered the Filet Mignon with merlot butter and a red wine reduction. Perfectly cooked rare and gave me a mouth orgasm that quickly spread to the rest of my body.
I really like the frites here and I will submit a signed statement saying that they are much better than the fries at Bouchon. Hand-cut freshly made crispy deliciousness that pairs well with the steak. These are my favorite fries.
Washed it all down with a couple of glasses of nice Bordeaux.
Flawlessly cooked Filet Mignon, tasty frites, and amazing red wine.... For a brief moment I felt as if I was floating naked in a hot tub on ecstasy...
It was a fantastique night
Highly Recommended
Breakfast: They are open for breakfast 7-11. We had a great breakfast outside. Quick seating, good service, lovely food. I especially like the crusty bread for toast. The menu has lots of choices, and at bargain prices I thought. We stayed for an extra bloody mary and the morning air.
My wife and I's favorite steakhouse in Las Vegas, it never lets us down.
We were immediately seated in the bar/patio (inside) with an incredible view of the Strip and the Bellagio's fountains. Our server was Herve who was very French and very good.
Our starter's were the French Onion Soup which was bursting with cheese and flavor and the Mussels Marinière. It was our first time with the mussels and they were just incredible. We will definitely get them again.
I followed it up with the Steak Bearnaise which is a very thin New York I believe served with Bearnaise on the side and the best frites, my wife had the signature steak which is an 8oz filet topped with merlot butter and the same frites.
NOTE: This review is only for breakfast.
Beautiful indoor and outdoor patio seating makes this a perfect setting for a nice and relaxing breakfast or brunch. Their eggs benedict and florentine are incredibly tasty with surprisingly decent prices.
I've only been here twice for breakfast, so I have yet to experience this place for dinner. So far both times there was no wait or reservation needed since it was outside of the normal waking hours of the Vegas crowd.
I thought I was going to have a great lunch along the strip with a nice view for some people watching.
WRONG.
Seated within 20 minutes of waiting we were walked out to the patio overlooking the strip with a view of the Bellagio fountains. Good so far right?
Seated, and we waited. Water came. Bread came. Still no server. Waiting. *crickets*.
The table next to us was ordering wine bottle after wine bottle at like noon. I was still recovering from my hangover from the previous night so my order was ice-tea. I never got a refill either "Stefani"!!!
Guess if you aren't ordering alcohol, you aren't priority here.
Burgers came with fries. If you want to call them fries. Basically it reminded me of whats left in the McDonalds oily pans at the end of the night. Yea, they served that.
Burger was another sad story too. Cooked medium-rare instead of medium well. My plate was full of blood. My bread was soaked in blood.
I sent it back.
Needless to say I won't be back. Two stars for the busboy who brought us bread and kept filling our water. Your server buddy got you less than a ten percent tip. Blame her!
This establishment is located in the Paris hotel, across from Bellagio. High volume is during the weekends for dinner. PLEASE try to make a reservation during the times of Christmas, NYE, and Valentines Day season. It will be very hard to get a walk-in. There is also many sections of the restaurant to be seated at. First room is the wine room, which is midly dark. Chose this room if you are there for drinks or for 'intimate' time. One problem is that it is near the front where people are walking in and out constantly. There is outside seating available, which faces the strip and Bellagio fountains. It is both good and bad, since some annoying tourist might bother you while you are eating. But the fountain show is wonderful to watch while outside. There is also a room that is inside but right behind the patio, so you get all the ambiance of the patio but you are technically inside.
I believe I have eaten here four times.
The first time was with a friend for lunch and both the food and service were excellent. We were walk-ins on a Saturday during lunch. We were seated outside facing the bellagio fountains, which was beautiful. I had clam soup, brie & garlic, Shrimp Gabi and escargot. We also ordered the Pinot Gris, which was excellent with the meal. The price was reasonable for the quantity and quality of food we had (the bill came to about $120US). Everything was flavorful and fresh. Based on this meal alone, we would highly recommend this restaurant.
Second & third time was with my friends (who are yelpers as well). The third time, we sat in the room behind the patio (since it was hot outside). I basically ordered all the same things from the first visit and it tasted just as good. These times, were had ordered dessert, which was a vanilla type of milkshake. It was incredible.
Fourth time, I will say I was disappointed in both the food and service. Perhaps cause one of the individuals with us was a friend of the assistant manager, and it seemed that we were being ignored or just not waited on as well as others there. The service at lunch was erratic and inattentive though the restaurant was not that busy than it had been at any of my previous meals. I wanted to try their Quiche and was not impressed. It was dry with very little flavor, and bland. My boyfriend's meal was no better, which I believe was a steak of some kind. It was pretty dry. Even though we did not pay for this meal, the value was not nearly as good as the value the past few times.
From my experience I would still highly recommend the restaurant. I have been to more expensive French restaurants and this place is honestly great for the price. Just do not be discouraged from one bad meal. I would say that is a great ratio.
Affordable French restaurant! We were sitting in the "Sun Room" which is gorgeous! I love eating under sunlight w/o all those dust coming from the street... We went there for lunch and got seated really fast.
Fresh oysters that we ordered that day was excellent, out-of-this-world good!!!! So fresh w/ slight sweetness.... We ordered a dozen.. couldn't have enough so ordered another half a dozen... The Escargots were not bad, really garlicky! My boyfriend has a chicken, brie, & spinach crepe, which was good, not very exciting though... The chicken was a bit on the dry side. I had the butter lettuce salad. Butter lettuce is my favorite lettuce =P I LOVE its vinaigrette dressing!!! It was light and tasty, YUM!
Actually, if it wasn't for the oyster, I would probably rate it 1/2 a star less... Maybe we were just lucky that day..?
I went to Mon Ami Gabi as part of a wedding party for my best friend's wedding. I along with everyone else thoroughly enjoyed my food. The staff is nice and courteous. They're a little slow with the water service and I had to ask for something a couple times as they would keep forgetting. (I wasn't the only one who experienced this) Although the Bride and Groom took care of the bill, they said that they were happy with the end result as everyone was happy and super full. I recommend this place for a large group of people.
One of the downfalls:
There are no restrooms inside the restaurant. You have to go out in the lobby / casino area to use the public restroom. Fail.
Excellent food. We were served a crusty bread with an julienned apple / olive oil tossed "salad" and butter. I had the Gabi's fish and frtte - It was a lightly breaded piece of fish fillet with thin thin thin fries. I loved it! I also had a glass of the house pinot... which was just ok. The restaurant is kind of loud -but we're in a casino and the customers were rather LIVELY and obviously a little t"relaxed". Lots of customers wearing stuff indicative of "bachelorette party". Our servers were excellent. A WOW? Not quite, but a solid 4 stars from me.
My fiance and I made reservations here through open table. Neither of us are big into french food, but this one was a winner in our book.
We arrived earlier than expected but still were seated right away(on a Saturday!). Our waiter was very nice and patient. He was helpful and quick to serve.
I ordered their escargot, which was delish. They gave us complimentary beets also. Not too big on the beets though.
The pork tenderloin was great, and a big portion! Even I could barely finish it, and I can eat ALOT!! The mashed cauliflower that I ordered was delish as well, as was the frites!
We ordered the warm berry desert with ice cream which really hit the spot. The bill was super cheap also, usually when I leave any other French Restaurant it's almost 200, but here it wasn't even close to that(alcohol included)
I plan on going here again when I need my French food fix.
This is a really cute brunch place, and an excellent alternative to buffets if you so incline. We stopped in Saturday morning (OK, who am I kidding, it was afternoon) with a group of seven and were seated promptly.
One or more of us was definitely hungover. Sat down, one quickly asked for orange juice. And hash browns. Cuz that's all he wanted. The waitress must be used to this. She put in our orders right away, and our food came shortly after.
Spinach salad (http://www.yelp.com/bi...) and cobb salad (http://www.yelp.com/bi...) were both fresh, with the right amount of dressing. Good portion if you're not super hungry but feel the need to eat something so you're not starving an hour later.
Hamburger with a fried egg on top (http://www.yelp.com/bi...). Amazing texture, cooked to order. Comes with a side of skinny fries (http://www.yelp.com/bi...).
The fruit platter (http://www.yelp.com/bi...). Pretty to look at, hard to eat. Definitely hard to share. False advertisement!
The rest got the corned beef hash, with a side of hash browns (http://www.yelp.com/bi...). Huge portions, but didn't stop any of them from wolfing it all down!
Good spot to watch the Bellagio water show, too :)
Dined here on a recent trip to Vegas. Just walked in - no reservation - no problem! We sat inside - it was too clammy outside for me. Service was great, food was fabulous and the wine was divine! Cant wait to go back.
My overall experience was very good. For a vegas restaurant, these prices are really very reasonable. You can pay more for a steak at many of the generic steakhouses inside casinos, and the wine by the glass is really very reasonable at 7 or 8 bucks per glass for their more basic wines (I had both a sauv blanc and a glass of gsm and both were good and recently opened).
As for the food:
I started with the sea scallops which were in a mussel cream sauce. Outstanding, though perhaps a touch too much Parmesan. That's not really a complaint though... just finding something to quibble about.
I had their prime rib special which looking back on it was a mistake. The prime rib was fine though not outstanding and it was reasonable at 35 dollars. It was also too much food in the end when combined with my other dishes.
The others in my party had salmon (i didn't get the verdict), the new york strip (judged good and the shallots very good), the crab cakes (judged outstanding), the salmon salad (good), as well as the french and soup du jour (a apple and parsnip soup).
For dessert two of us had chocolate mousse. The mousse was exactly what you'd hope and expect. They topped it with dark chocolate crunchy things which are good, but unfortunately just put pink berry in mind for me because they have to be exactly the same thing. Another person had the peach parfait and was a fan of it.
---
So I'd give this 4 stars. The food was very good, but not truly exceptional, which I think it needs to be at this price range to earn a 5. The service was very good, refills on water came swiftly, and the pacing was appropriate for a French restaurant (i.e. slow, but purposefully and not annoyingly so).
Of course, mention has to be made about the atmosphere. It's really nice. I asked for a table with a view of the Belaggio fountain, and they made us wait about 15 minutes upon arriving, but they gave us a good table for it. It was very pleasant.
I'd definitely suggest this restaurant. I think you could probably get a better meal if you stepped up a price category somewhat, but then you wouldn't have the nice sidewalk cafe feel.
My first time eating here was in '07, even though we have two Mon Ami Gabi outposts in Bethesda and Reston back home. However, for some reason Mon Ami Gabi in my area doesn't get half the kudos that the Vegas location does.
In any case, our first night in Vegas lead us back to Paris. We were here on October 29th and were able to secure a table without reservations. There is outdoor seating available, which is great for people watching, but as it was kind of nippy, we opted to eat inside. Our server, according to my receipt, was Dia, who was cute, knowledgeable, and provided excellent service. I ordered the Steak au Poivre with brandy peppercorn sauce, and my friend ordered the Filet Mignon with merlot butter and red wine reduction. Now this is where I should really listen to my friend and heed her suggestions, as she is from Oklahoma and girl knows her beef. While my steak was good, the steaks here are cut real thin. I ordered mine to be cooked medium and truth be told, when it's a thin slice of meat, you are better off asking for medium rare. Her filet mignon, of course, tasted better than mine since hers is a better cut. The generous portion of fries are hand cut and also sliced thin, fried very crisp, and are reminiscent of the won ton crispy noodles you get when you order soup at Chinese restaurants. This is not necessarily a bad thing, but if you want your fries to have some taste of potato, then you are best off ordering one of the side dishes.
We had also ordered a carafe of sangria (billed here as "frangria"), and we both agreed that it is one of the better sangrias that we have ever tried, and one of us has been to Spain. At under $16, it was enough to provide a nice buzz and was cheaper than getting multiple cocktails or ordering a full bottle of wine. They do have wine by the glass, and if you are here in the fall, you can't go wrong with beaujolais nouveau. We didn't even have to pour it ourselves, as Dia was always on the mark and filled our glasses when it got half full.
For dessert, my friend ordered the warm chocolate tarte tatin with caramel sauce and whipped cream. I got the pear parfait with vanilla ice cream and whipped cream. With tax, my portion of the meal was $34.48, excluding gratuity. I can definitely recommend this place, as it was fairly inexpensive, but the amount of food, plus the service, makes for a great value. If you're not in the mood for dinner, try having dessert out on the patio with sangria, wine, or cocktails. It's a good way to start (or end) your Vegas adventure.
Had lunch here, food price was very reasonable for vegas and the atmosphere was great.
If you like butter, cheese and more butter, this place is for you. While the set-up is cute (if not a bit too kitschy) and the service is very pleasant, the food tries to be French but just hits you with as much fat/grease/butter as possible. I'm always one for unhealthy food, but this was a bit much.
Starters:
-Chicken liver mousse: Good, flavorful, huge portion
-French onion soup: The broth was good, but it was so hard to get a taste of what the soup was like with the HUGE glob of cheese on top of the soup. Now, I love cheese, lactose-intolerant as I may be, but I had to scoop the last third of the cheese out bc it was just way too much.
Dinner:
-Roast chicken: This isn't the roast chicken of Bouchon, that's for sure. It was good but a bit dry...and the vegetables were so completely soaked in oil, it was hard to figure out what you were eating.
-Skate: I love skate because it's such a nice, light fish...but again, I thouht I was eating a pound of butter mixed with some lemon and capers. The vegetable salad was a very nice accompaniment, though - very refreshing.
-Macaroni gratin: I make it a habit to order mac n cheese at nearly every restaurant I go to, if it's available. This version literally had a pound of cheese on top; I was confused on whether there were even any noodles in the dish. Again, ended up scraping off 2/3 of the top cheese layer to even enjoy the dish.
I think this restaurant has potential if they laid off the cheese/oil/butter and just let the food speak for itself. It's really not necessary to make America fatter than it already is!
Ate there Jan 2009,
Anyone who thinks this is anything like a french bistro is sadly mistaken. If you looked at the menu, it basically is a steak house menu, with fish and chicken for those who do not feel like steak. The only thing french about this place is the menu, which is in french, but a steak house menu, in french, is still a steak house.
We made reservations months ago and when we arrived, the table was ready, but was right next to the waiters station and kitchen. Very loud. If I did them the favour of calling ahead that far, you would have thought I would have gotten a better table.
If you want a okay steak, go here, if you want french, I'd pick up a copy of Rosetta Stone.
Ate here again a couple weeks ago. The wait staff was extremely slow. The pate was extremely dry. The frisee salad was extremely bland. I remembered the food being better than this. Huge disappointment since I think it's such a cute eatery and love sitting on the patio, only when the sun is not glaring straight on my face.

OK, I went here with a bunch of guys...which is usually the norm when I go to Vegas. None of them… Read more »
Excellent steaks served with very tasty fries. Desserts are to die for. Wonderful wine list. Location is great. We had a fantastic waitress.
YES. YUM.
eff all that 'authentic' jazz. I don't particularly care if my bowl of Gazpacho is not traditionally French, it was DEE-LISH. As were my mussels, the steak frites, and the scallops.
VERY well priced for the Strip; a classy little eatery. Total win, both for service and food. I could eat here for days. Yes, days.
This is a great find on the Las Vegas Strip. Excellent food at very good value, compared with overpriced choices nearby. Good service too.
Highly recommended & I will definitely return when I come back to town
The 3 stars is a push. It was actually quite good, but the fairly poor service and bathrooms with a line-out-the-door in the casino, I had to settle at 3. So let's bullet point:
PROS:
- Food. The filet mignon was absolutely delicious, in some sort of merlot sauce. I believe there was also the word "reduction" in it, which tends to add to the fancy shmancyness. It was about $32, so me and the boyfriend split it. It came with an interesting side - these crispy 'fries' that actually tasted a lot better than they looked.
- Asparagus. Infused with butter. Nuff said.
- The waiter was from SD and super cool. Definitely a surfer/stoner type, and we enjoyed his company.
CON:
- There is no restroom in the actual restaurant, so have fun waiting in line with a bunch of drunk Cougars and the 20 something year olds waiting patiently on the outiside to pick out the ripest (drunkest, or bustiest, whatever was closest) one. Kinda ruined the fancy French restuarant vibe.
- The poor water guy spilled water essentially all over my placing. He was nice about it, but everything I used that night was pretty wet.
- Actual waiter was cool, but completely forgot that we had ordered a bottle of wine, and didn't even get it until after our steaks were served.
Complaints are minor, and food was delicious. If you're going to spend $30+ for a steak, I would neutrally recommend this place. If that even makes sense.
Thanks to Yelp and Mon Ami Gabi's great reviews, we decided to try this place for dinner. We didn't realize it was located at the Paris Casino right across from the Bellagio. We lucked out and got a table with a great view of the Water Show. They only take reservations for indoor seating, but outdoor seating would be awesome. Service was good and food was delicious! We ordered...
Appetizers:
Escargots de Bourgogne - very flavorful
Cheese Plate - came with 3 different types, fruit preserves, nuts, apple slices and walnut raisin bread (which we asked for extra since there was still a lot of cheese on the plate when the first batch of bread was done). Was enough for 4 people.
Main:
Filet Mignon - literally melts in your mouth. Comes with frites.
Trouth Grenobloise - great flavors. Fish was fresh.
Dessert:
Profiteroles - they were alright, but I think it's because I'm not really a big fan of profiteroles in general.
Just FYI. Corkage fee is $20, but you can't bring any wine on their menu.
For my wife's birthday we decided to do something special and Mon Ami Gabi definitely provides a great romantic atmosphere and nice affordable dining.
We arrvied about 9am and there was NO wait we were immediately seated on the outdoor patio and we were served right away.
We ordered coffee, smoked salmon platter & bagel,Eggs & Beef Bourguignon , Chocolate-Bacon Waffle and a side of hashbrown potatoes(not pictured)
The food was fantastic! The Beef Bourguignon was reduced in a red wine sauce with the MOST tender beef EVER. The Chocolate-Bacon Waffle with chocolate syrup & whipped cream was scrumptuos too!!!
If you are looking to impress but NOT break the bank @MonAmiGavilv is the Place!!
I have been here twice. Both times, amazing! The food is creative and tasty. I especially enjoyed the sangria with rosemary. The view, overlooking the fountains, could not be better.
I don't know what they put in the coffee here, but it was the one of the best I've ever had. Or maybe I was hungover. I was in Vegas for a 4 day buddy's bachelor party extravaganza. I did eat here for 3 straight days for breakfast (at 2pm). I tried everything from the Eggs & Beef Bourguignon to Salmon Eggs Benedict. The food was awesome. My only complaint was that the pitchers of orange juice was ridiculously expensive. The 4 pitchers of the orange juice was about 33% of the bill for 6-8 people. Otherwise, the food price wasn't too outrageous. The orange juice was phenomenal but not worth the price though. We always sat on the outdoor patio with a great view of the Bellagio fountain. The service was somewhat slow, but I'll give them slack because this place was always busy. At least the servers were always super nice.
My boyfriend and I ate here this past Monday. I've tried to eat here 3 times before but the line has always been too long. We were lucky this time and got a patio table facing the Belaggio fountain show (which went off every 20 mins). This restaurant is all about location, location, location. It was fun to people watch and take in the fountain show. The food is descent. We had a house salad, French onion soup (the best part of the meal), and a steak with blue cheese. Go for the patio and have a glass of the house Sangria.
As we were walking along the Strip, we spotted this cute place with an outdoor patio and we all made a mental note to try this place for brunch/lunch the next day.
When we arrived, we were promptly given a seat indoors, but close to the outside patio since all the outside seating was taken...which ended up okay since people were smoking. The area we sat in was large, airy and definitely full of light...a total opposite from the front of the restaurant that was pretty dark.
Here's what we ordered:
-hand cut Gaufrette potato chips ($5.95): the best darn home made chips I've had! Light, not greasy and delicious with the blue cheese dipping sauce
-open-face shrimp salad ($11.95): my friend enjoyed it, looked really fresh
-combo maison: grilled cheese and short rib sandwich, cup of Gazpacho and Frites ($12.95): great deal! The grilled cheese and short rib sandwich was okay...a bit greasy and the meat was dry but the cup of gazpacho was GREAT! Nice and cool, perfect on a hot day...I wish I had a whole bowl of it! Large cup of fries that were done perfectly. I wish I had room to eat more!
-classic quiche Lorraine ($11.95): my friend said it was dry and cooked too long
If you're tired of the buffets and want a nice sit down place to enjoy your food, I'd definitely come here!
Yummy and cute place...
Came here with my mom, sister and niece based on high recommendations from hubby.
They had a sangria that was so tasty that my sis and I finished the whole pitcher!
Their hand cut frites are to die for! Like nothing I ever had. Their steak with butter was not too bad. Mom ordered the duck l'orange which she loved. Niece couldn't stop talking about the french onion soup and escargots she had.
