I have to say (again) that this is definitely the best Thai food in Santa Clarita.  I am never disappointed when I eat here and I'm surprised by some of the bad reviews I've read.  The staff is always friendly and the food is always delicious.

I've been sick for the last week and was tired of bland chicken soup.  So, I decided I needed something with intense flavor and super spicy to wake up my taste buds.  (By the way, I'm Mexican so I know what spicy is.)  The chicken coconut soup (sorry, forgot the name of it) hit the spot perfectly!  I asked the waiter to make it spicy since the menu did not have the little chili pepper next to it.  It did the trick.  I have a new favorite soup.

If you haven't tried this place yet, you absolutely have to!

Really good food, super friendly staff, and great prices.  Mom really can cook, and she cooks up all the standard thai favorites.  Canyon Country might not be the mecca of thai food in the L.A. area, but they are still up there with some fairly authentic thai food.

They have a ton to choose from (curries, fried rice, pad thai, chicken satay, etc.) and some really good lunch specials.  In the $8 range.  They have plenty of vegetarian options also.

As a note, they will make your dishes spicy to your preferred level (1-10).  I always ask for 11 just to make sure they know that I really want it hot and they love it.  They do make it fairly spicy compared to most places so go with a lower number if your not a chili head.

Thanks to Yelp i found this great Thai spot close to home!   We usually drive out of our way for good Thai but this will save some gas....lol.

It's not the best but a very close second!  The place itself is clean and inviting.  The service is really great and the prices are the best I've seen.   Overall great place to eat and the kids loved it as well.

To enjoy your food you need to also have good service. These owners they are cheapskates and tried charging a fee for having 3 adults and 2 toddlers come on now. Annoying. Now i never crave thai and regret ever giving them my money. As for the food well nothing special.

We tried this restaurant after strong recommendations from friends. Maybe we caught them on a bad night but all of our 3 dishes were the worst thai food we have had in SCV. My wife is a pad thai nut but could only handle a few bites before giving up it was so poor. I had the seafood rice in which the rice was not completely cooked and was very chewy. My daughter tried the mongolian beef which had no flavor at all, it was like a bowl of steamed beef and veggies. We didn't bother to ask for new food as all 3 dishes were equally bad, not much chance for a better dish. Service was good when you could get their attention.

My boyfriend took me here for the first time a few weeks ago. I LOVED IT. Everything I ordered was delicious! Their TomYum soup is to die for!! The service is also amazing. Everyone is super friendly and very attentive. Very clean restaurant and cute wood decor.

I love it! Affordable too. Their larb salad, papaya salad and tom yum are what I would recommend!

I will admit it. I will forever be biased in my taste for Thai Food after enjoying the amazing Siam Rice for the past ten or so years of my existence. But I had heard plenty of good things recently about Mom Can Cook so I decided to give it a shot.

The inside and decor is really nice and inviting. It's small but not TOO small. Service was great, which is always a plus in any place that I visit. On to the curry....

I ordered the Massamun Curry because I had never tried that type of curry before. I was asked how spicy I wanted it on a scale of 1-10. I choose a level 7 spicy and was asked by the waitress if I am sure. Ofcourse I am sure, I usually eat Siam spicy or for one insane occasion extra spicy (probably never again). The curry came out a few minutes later and looked great. It had chicken and potatoes in the brown Massamun curry sauce. The curry had excellent flavor but was lacking in heat. I told the waitress that next time I shall have to try the level ten. She pointed to a chili powder on the table and said that if I added that to my curry it would make it a 10. Thus I added said chili powder and kept adding it. It raised the heat a little bit but not considerably. Even the owner came out and asked me if I was okay because apparently a level 7 is supposed to be spicy to most people. Suckers.

I would go back to Mom Can Cook and order the curry level 10 and try it out but was severly devastated by the lack of heat that was given to me. This is Thai food in Canyon Country though so maybe I am overestimating peoples ability to endure spicy food. Again, suckers.

I've been eating Thai food since I was a little kid.  My family loves Thai food... especially when it's spicy!  I can't begin to count the number of Thai restaurant's I've tried... and hands down, Mom Can Cook is the best!

The food at Mom Can Cook has exquisite flavor.  Some of my favorite dishes include the garlic pepper chicken, the panang curry, the steamed dumplings, and the chow mein.  The Tom Yum soup is out-of-this world, Pad Kee Mow noodles are excellent too.  As with many Thai restaurants, you can specify your "spiciness" on a numeric scale.  I like spicy foods, and I only order a 5.  It's a perfect blend of heat and flavor -- especially in the Tom Yum soup!

On top of the outstanding food, Matt (the owner) is delightful.  He's very welcoming, and not only does he remember our names, but our favorite dishes as well!

The supply of authentic and delicious restaurants is somewhat lacking in Santa Clarita, so it's really nice to have such a great place so close to home!

Really nice restaurant on the inside and the staff is so attentive and helpful. So this review is really only getting 3 stars because of the food.
I've ordered from this place about 3-4 times now and honestly I haven't found a good enough dish for a "go to". I like their satay and dumplings but I feel that their actual main dishes aren't that good. Maybe I've been spoiled from Thai BBQ, Sanamluang and Thai Patio...I've had their padseeew and honestly it's dry. Their curries are tasteless. I suppose the large number of white people with no tastebuds do have somewhat to contribute to this but yeah, just not a fan.

This place is surprisingly the best Thai food restaurant I've ever had and its located in the boonies of Canyon Country. For a place that does not have much of an asian community, this just leaves me in bewilderment.
The soups here were very flavourful and you could definitely taste the lemon grass that they cook with. The beef salad was probably may favorite along with the pad thai and pad see ew.
The ambience is pretty cool and fits the area, kind of country meets asian.
The staff is friendly and quick to serve you.

Definitely a must try place if you are passing through or even make a trip out there!

I hope this doesn't sound awful, but this is surprisingly good and authentic Thai food for the Santa Clarita valley. The satay chicken sticks were tender and flavorful.  The pad thai, yum woon sen, tom yum soup were equally good. The staff was friendly and attentive.

I recommend this restaurant.  I mean, how can you go wrong with a name like this?!

This Thai place should be renamed " Mom CAN'T Cook Thai Kitchen"

I ordered Pad Thai w/ beef and their Tom Yum soup w/ chicken--------BLAND----BLAND----BLAND and certainly not even close to "authentic Thai food"

I do not know how they are still in business, being that they are only a block away from Siam Rice 1.

I wanted to complain, but before I had the chance to, the waiter had questioned about that food because it barely looked like it was touched. She asked if I would like to pack my food TOGO....and I said, "NO".
She then brings out the bill, I pay, and I will never RETURN and neither should you. Yuck!

I know a lot of people around here love Mom Can Cook but I've always been a bit skeptical. After all, it's located in a dingy shopping center between the recycling place and a pawn shop, thrift shop and liquor store. None of this shrieks, 'Incredible Thai food!' to me. But finally, I gave it a shot.

When you're outside the MCC, it's rather tacky and dingy looking. It's only once you open the doors....

and then you're in some kind of Thai palace with luxurious decor and style. Five star all the way. Both me and my girlfriend were duly impressed. Now would the food hold up?

I stuck to the basics and tried Mom's Special Pad Thai. If anything can make a Thai joint hold up, this is it. It was decent but not the best Pad Thai I've ever had. The noodles must've been on the dry side as they kind of got stuck in my throat. Not enough to choke me although I was a bit concerned.

Their Wonton Seaweed Soup was much better. Good hot broth and plenty of noodles and chicken inside.

My girlfriend isn't a big spice fanatic like myself, so she had what she thought would be one of the milder curries. A Yellow Curry with Shrimp. Turns out it was hotter than she expected. Kind of like a 6 on the heat scale when she was expecting 4.

Overall, a decent place with a good overall value. Great for a date for the decor alone.

Good Thai food, very nice staff and great decor!

We went there for the first time last Wednesday and then again on Mother's Day and was very satisfied with the food both times.

I had the Pineapple Fried Rice w/shrimp on my first visit and the portions were VERY generous.  I know most Thai restaurants serve their dishes family style but my husband likes his food at the spiciest level they can make it and I can't handle that so no sharing for us.  I was more than happy taking my leftovers home.

On Mother's Day however there were no leftovers.  There were 7 of us in our group and everyone finished everything.  My sister is a dumpling fiend and she was very pleased with the dumplings here.

I would love it if they would add Plum wine to their drink menu, but until then I'll enjoy the Thai iced tea. :)

don't get me wrong.  I love thai food and people.  I have many thai restaurant that I go to and they treat me and my family as their own family.  I came here twice.  First time I visited, I ordered tom yum soup along with spicy fried rice.  both came at the same time and food was just ok.  when I visited second time with all my family, I thought we were ignored.  yes, we have 3 young children and it may be so pleasant to have many kids, but we waited quite a bit for a pot of very salty tom yum soup to come and waited for other food to come.  almost 15 min after soup and two rice was done.  hostess comes and takes the empty bowl and I gently asked them that we need food NOW so that children does not run around.  we waited another 15 min for the food to come and I finally told the hostess that we are going to leave because we can't wait any longer with 3 children complaining.  These things can happen as mistake, but I could not believe what she had to say wih an attitude after.  "The soup came first because it was appetiser.  this is the way we serve.  this is how we serve food here!!!"
Sure, I can understand if you serve a huge pot of very salty tom yum soup as appetiser which is listed as entree, but if it is served first, you've got to ask.  second, the soup was served together on my first visit.  third, we waited such a long time even after the soup and 2 bowls of steam rice was all cleared.  We just watched people from other table (who came in after us) to eat and chat while we were sooooo hungry.

bottom line, I am not coming here again.  you may have better luck if you dont have many kid.  I've had better food.  much better.  most thai restaurant is pretty quick and attentive.  never had this much of disrespect in a restaurant.

At first glance Mom Can Cook Thai Kitchen looks sketchy, The small, dark, old looking strip mall it is in is deceiving. The restaurant itself is clean, and stylish on the inside.

The food was very good.  They have a spicy scale and I ordered mine on the low end, like a 2 or 3. My Calamari Salad was so spicy my mouth was on fire. I downed two Thai Teas trying to put the fire out. All in all it was good tasting and the next time we go I'll know to go very light on the spicy. They are actually very good at asking you what level you would like and they double check to make sure you know what you are getting into. Very considerate. Good prices, yummy food.

Hands down best Thai food I have ever had. I first came here years ago with my mom and we loved going for the lunch special. Now that I work a 9-5 I can't take advantage of that, but when I happen to have a weekday off that's where I'm at for lunch. I love that I can not go in there for months and I walk in and the owners say hi to me by name. The food is excellent. Service- amazing! I love their atmosphere it's a nice getaway lunch. It feels very personal everytime I go in. I am not going to suggest anything in particular because I promise that whatever you order you will love!
The only part that I could say I don't like is they go back to Thailand every year for about a month, but they bring back new menu items!
In short, I can't say enough good things about this place. Good people, good food!!!!

This was my boyfriend's first Thai experience and he was hooked from the first bite. We ordered shrimp pad thai for me, beef pad thai for him, and also an order of garlic chicken. The person on the phone was very nice and patient considering this was my first time ordering from them. I've had Thai before so I know what to order but since it was his first time, he was very indecisive. So we ordered and were estimated 15 minutes for the food to be ready. Too bad they do not deliver although it is literally down the street and I did not mind making the 5 minute drive. The restaurant is really nice and 'authentic' looking inside and I would really like to dine here soon. It was a weekday afternoon and the place was full of hungry patrons. I went to the counter and my food was ready for me. I believe I paid $25 for the 3 dishes which is pretty standard for Thai food. The food tasted really good. Flavorful and spicy, just how I like it. I really enjoyed my shrimp pad thai but was not too fond of the garlic chicken. I did like the fact that it came with mixed veggies. I love me some broccoli!
It's a great restaurant in Santa Clarita. Definitely my goto Thai place whenever I am at the boyfriends.
And fyi, Mom can cook. loll

I've been coming to this place for the last two years.  The food is fresh, the service is friendly and its a cool place to take a minute away from the chaos of my life.  This place understands spicy...if you do not like heat ask for it MILD!!!  I happen to love spicy food and their spicy brings me to tears (which I like).  They also can make fried rice out of brown rice, which I love.  They are not a chain, and it's cool to have this high quality place right around the corner from my house.

Consistently good, consistently friendly, and a life saver in take out for my family.  I wish they delivered!

We had a good dinner here.  If the ratings were based on service and atmosphere alone, it would be a 5-star rating.  The place is so cute and cozy.  The service was amazing - very friendly, very helpful - we had no less than 5 or 6 people helping us throughout the night.

We ordered Thai dumplings, Pad Kee Mao and Pepper/Garlic Beef.  The dumplings were great - and we'd order those again.  The main dishes were both fine, and the Pad Kee Mao was just spicy enough.   But there wasn't that 'wow' factor.  It was fine and a nice meal - certainly at a very good price, but it just wasn't up to what we enjoy at other local Thai spots.

My first time trying this place.... FAIL. I've had better... should driven across town to my usual place. But moving from Valencia back to canyon country, i decided to try what was around me. Never again.

Ordered the Homemade style wings.... Epic Fail. These wings looked tiny and pathetic. Nothing like was I was expecting. I was hoping for delicious big juicy chicken wings smothered in hot red sweet and spicy sauce... I'll just have to drive to Tofu House and grab these next time i crave them!!!

The chicken pad Thai lacked flavor. sorry to be so harsh, but when you crave something so badly and it doesn't do the job, you'd feel the same way.

Sorry to say, but I won't be coming back here.

There aren't a whole lot of places to choose to eat at in Canyon Country, but this is one of the best. I LOVE Mom Can Cook! They have some of the best Thai food in all of Santa Clarita. Everything tastes fresh and not like it just came from the freezer and was reheated. They do have ups and downs at times, but when they're up, everything tastes awesome!

I'm a vegetarian and this is one of my go-to restaurants because almost everything on the menu can be made vegetarian. They'll leave out the fish sauce too if you ask them. Some of my favorites are: Tom Kha Soup, Papaya Salad, Pineapple Fried Rice, Pad Woon Sen, Southern Favorites curry, Tofu Delights and most of all Mango and Sticky Rice--YUMMY!

There are a couple of things on the menu that are a definite DO NOT TRY, such as the Siamese Northern Style Noodles. I hate to say it, but those were awful! But there are so many other things that they do well and are tasty that they deserve a good rating. Definitely worth trying if you live in Santa Clarita!

Honestly, not everything on the menu here is great. But when it's good, it's fantastic! It's my favorite place to eat in Canyon Country.

First of all, I must mention Mom Can Cook's fantastic lunch specials. $7-8 gets you soup, salad, and an entree with your choice of white or brown rice. (Try the garlic chicken if you don't mind people covering their noses in front of you for the next 24 hours.)

My favorite dish at Mom Can Cook is their pineapple fried rice. It's flavored with curry spices and it's amazing! By far the best fried rice I've ever had. It's sweet and spicy and a little smoky. Other highlights: chicken satay, garlic chicken, and mango sticky rice.

The only complaint I have about Mom Can Cook is mixed up with a compliment. Everything here is extremely fresh, and they never overcook the vegetables. It tastes to me like they have many of their sauces prepared, at least partly, ahead of time, and then quickly cook the vegetables/noodles/meat in the sauce to order. This makes for very fresh-tasting and properly cooked food. However, it also means that the flavors in the sauce don't always get to mingle with the veggies/noodles/meat. As a result, the noodles really taste noodle-y, and the veggies don't pick up much flavor. I'm not sure that makes sense, but there it is. However, don't let this deter you! Their Mom really Can Cook!

The man who runs the place is a complete sweetheart. He always remembers me and my friends and what we like to order. He's incredibly helpful and prompt.

Mom Can Cook is the best deal in Canyon Country. Try the pineapple fried rice!

NOT a chain. Mom gets extra points right there. Have been to Mom's many times, but they really do deserve a yelp now.

Recently expanded, doubling capacity, but the food is even better. Dumplings, chicken satay, shrimp pad thai, and green curry chicken.
    Everything was quite good,

In this time of downturn, particularly bad for restaurants, they are getting enough business to fill every table in the expanded space.
A few little service issues, but just nice to eat in a non chain non theme real place.

Owner Matt is a very friendly guy who greets almost everyone and is truly interested in pleasing his customers.

    Well recommended.

    Matt.

That's the name of the owner, and lead waiter. My man, Matt, never forgets a name or face. I'm sure there's been a single incident in the history of name or face-forgetting, but I think it's nary a time. (Sorry, i set that up so I can write the word "nary." I love it, and it makes me sound smart.)  Anyway, Matt is really cool. And if you happen to be dining with a lady friend, and the last time you came was with another "lady friend," he somehow knows not to bring that up; as if he's trying to cover for you. (Not really necessary on his part, but funny nonetheless!)

So, let's get this out of the way. The service here is top-notch. Matt, and his wife, are friendly and amiable. They like to talk about anything and everything. Matt always seems to remember something that was going on in your life the last time you were there, even though you may have moved on from it and totally forgot about the occurrence.

The problem is, I'm not sure if the service is what brings people back. I mean if the food wasn't sooooo delicious, I could see the service being the draw. However, a vegetarian friendly-menu and great curry is enough to pamper you with a tummy-manicure. Your dining experience here is going to make you feel good once you walk out!

When I go, I usually get the mint leaf shrimp, the green curry (the red curry sometimes), the panang, spicy seafood fried rice, and the pad woon sen.

This was also the first place I ever had the mango sticky rice desert. It's a halved mango, split in two, draped with coconut milk and sesame seeds, next to a clump of sweet, coconut rice. Utterly delicious. I think if the rest of the menu wasn't so good, I could come here just for mango sticky rice alone!

For appetizers, the angel wings and the vegetarian spring rolls (with the sweet, oniony dipping sauce) are sublime.

Also, the Tom Yum Goong is heavenly. I'm not a fan of soup, but Thai soup always wins me over. I've had the Tom Yum at other places, and it's always hit-or-miss. I know I can always go there and rely on the same foods I order tasting the same way.

That is good news for me...and you.

One last thing. I took my dad here once, and he's a big fan of spicy. He often muses that whenever he goes out and orders spicy food, it isn't as spicy as he had hoped. This goes for other Thai food joints. This one is the real deal, ladies and gentlemen. I thought I could hang, because I'm a big "when in Rome"-kinda guy. But I'm pretty sure I sweated out the whole meal as a result. Waaay too spicy for me, but that's if you ask for it.

From now on, I'm not asking for anything other than what I order straight up. The service (top notch) and the food (notched even higher) are what keeps me coming back.

I decided to trek over to the other side of town check out the buzz about "Mom".  Whoa, this place is in the cut!  I honestly considered turning around, because the run down strip mall they're in looked like an apocalyptic commercial ghost town.

Once inside it's a whole different story.  Everyone was really welcoming and nice.  Just as much as the owner pridefully shares the story about "Mom" and her cooking, they also take the time to get to know you as the customer.  The owner and I had a quick debate about whether or not I can take spicy food, and he concluded our conversation by labeling me a "spicy lady".   I took that as a compliment as I sashayed out of the restaurant.

Well, as woman who occasionally eats Potato Chips with Sriracha, I thought I was prepared for the spicy fried rice and green curry chicken that I ordered.  Wrong.  I wasn't prepared, and while I took delight in the tasty flavor of the green curry with eggplant, peas, carrots, bamboo shoots, chicken and Thai basil, my mouth was on fire!!  My poor husband is even less tolerant of heat, but we both endured it because the dishes were so tasty.

Mom burned us, and in their defense they tried to warn me.  Is it possible that my taste buds have been numbed by 2 years of living in Santa Clarita?  I'll be back for more taste bud heat conditioning.

As a bonnie wee lass, I remember going out to eat Thai food with my parents. The love affair began at a fairly young age, so imagine my surprise when I moved away from the main happenings of LA, to the armpit of Los Angeles County, also known as Canyon Country.
(Ok, it's not THAT bad. It wears deoderant on occasion.)

Thai food seemed to be obsolete around this abysmal hole, which in turn caused a rampage of school girl debauchery. I'm talking staying up until 2 in the morning, watching Reba, and saving John th Baptist from Godzilla. But then, by some miracle (and by miracle I mean searching the internet), I found Mom Can Cook. Let me tell you, Mom is no liar. This Mom person is an excellent chef and a saint. Her thai food saved me from from a life of sure torment.

    Fast forward 4 years...

Believe it or not, Mom can still cook! Only, mom seems to be a man who greets me every time I come in and eat. I don't know his name, I only know him as Mom. He's very nice to me and all of the customers. The restaurant is a hole in the wall next to a recycling center in a run down strip mall. Don't let it fool you. The food is fantastic, as are the Thai iced tea and coffee. Most of the time I just come in to get a large cup of this sickiningly delicious form of liquid diabetes. I truly think I'm an addict.

I only wish this restaurant was in a better location. It gets decent business, but I know they'd do so much better elsewhere. The people who work here are so kind, and they really deserve all the business they can get. After all, they saved my life.

*The above details may or may not be based on a true story. Anything describing Mom Can Cook is true. No Godzillas were hurt in the making of this review.*

I simply cannot live without this place. I eat here about every 6 weeks for several years now. When I make it over to that side of town, I have every intention to try something new, but I usually succumb to my love for Mom.

Admittedly, I almost always get the same dishes: yellow curry and pineapple fried rice. There is a reason for my repeat order; it doesn't get any better than that. The food is fresh and very flavorful. It can be quite spicy for true Thai food lovers' pleasure, but they are more than willing to tone it down for delicate palates. I love Thai food, and try it at every opportunity. I've tried both posh and hole-in-the-wall places from downtown to the west side to Antelope Valley, and still nothing beats Mom Can Cook. She really can.

I'm not sure if you will share my addiction to this place, but it is certainly worth a try. For Matt, for Mom, for the ambiance, and definitely for the food. If you come in late spring/summer, be sure to leave room for the Mango Sticky Rice dessert. It's divine.

While "Mom" was in the kitchen, "Dad" told us that "food is to be eaten, not photographed" as we snapped pics of our entrees. He didn't stop us from taking pictures, but he didn't seem too comfortable about it.

Everything we ordered tasted quite good. Ratings: The garlic-pepper chicken rates No. 1; spicy fried rice, No. 2; the eggplant with tofu, No. 3. The Thai iced tea was nicely icy.

For the Santa Clarita Valley, it's above average food, but not the 4 to 5 stars we were expecting from all the praise by other Yelpers. Three stars, maybe even three and a half stars if the girl who served us smiles next time.

    The bill: $24.90.

Really disappointed.  I'm Asian, not Thai, but born there lived there for 13 years.  Really wanted good Thai food last night.  We went there Friday night.  Was a full house.  My test of good Thai is whether their signature pad Thai is authentic.  Not so tonight.  It tasted like a rush job.  Pad see ew... Disappointing too.  And what?  They charge a dollar extra for Chinese broccoli?  Sorry guys, but despite the somewhat cozy ambience, we won't be going back.  Shoulda known when we walked in.... Most customers looked like farangs....or tourists.  One of my favorite places in Glendale is Indra.

I am new to Thai food and am still learning what it is all about.  I have had this on my list to try for some time.  I had a hankering for something different and we ended up here.

They are located in one of the most depressing strip malls in this valley.  This is the one with the post office in it, along with a liquor store, a massage place, a bar, a bartending school and a place that wires dinero to Mexico and points beyond.

Yet, at the very end of this place is Mom Can Cook.  Even from the outside, you can tell it is an oasis in this sea of blight.  It is warm and inviting.  My wife was skeptical, but as soon as she saw it she commented that it looked like a nice place.

The inside is equally neat.  The decor is very Thai and other reviewers that commented about feeling transported to Thailand are right on the money.

Thanks to William S, I actually had an idea of what to order.  We got spring rolls, shrimp pad thai and green curry.  I needed one more dish and asked for a recommendation.  The gal taking our order eyed me in my whiteness and recommended the orange chicken.  I told her I was here for some authentic Thai food and this seemed to be some Americanized concoction.  Her smile told me I was right, and she recommended the mint shrimp or cashew chicken, we opted for the cashew chicken.

The food was great.  So many tastes and flavors, it was great.  We ordered everything mild because the kids were eating it too.  Even at mild, the spice is noticeable.  As others stated, spicy here means very spicy so play it safe.

We finished the meal with the mango dessert recommended by William S.  Everyone (but me) put their noses up looking at the fruit with rice, milk and sesame seeds.  But, everyone was won over after tasting it.  Truly, it was an awesome dessert.

All of this, along with a Thai beer ran us $50 plus tip.  Not bad and had enough food left over for lunch for me.  Matt was out, hope to meet him next time.

Great food, fair prices, family owned and operated. The owner always has a small chat with us and makes us feel at home. The waitress (I think daughter) is very nice and courteous. Food comes out within 5 minutes. I recommend the drunken noodles.

Funny story: I asked why they are closed on Wednesdays, and the father replied "mom needs to rest" har har har

I will say I think I have been here before many moons ago........ My sons and I decided to try this place.  Now for starters for me the name of the restaurant seemed kind of odd to me.  But I know people give their kids strange names and they turn out OK, so it could be the same with this place.  We show up and they ask where we would like to sit.... I said out side. They seemed a little shocked that we wanted to sit out there. I think it was because it was on the warm side. It was an amazing evening with the full moon coming up... So I insisted we sit out side. I think 3 or 4 different people came to our table through out the course of our dinner. Every one was extremely nice and made sure we had every thing we needed. I know Ray was impressed by the service and I was as well. My younger son Jordan, well he could care less he is only 6.  Just bring him more sweets and he is happy.

Now I have not eaten at many Thai places so I don't have much to compare it too...... But I loved the food.  Some things I was not sure how they should taste but I like them any way.... The fried banana at the end really got my kids.... I have to say I enjoyed it too.

Over all, we will be going back there to eat again. I know Ray is excited to go back.... :)
I will say if you have not tried it and the name is kind of throwing you off, don't let it......... Go and try it out... The service alone is worth it.

    Good place-
the other night i happened to drive with my parents to the local movie theaters and my parents wanted Thai food. We found this place after a friend of mine had recommended it. The food was excellent and the service was great. I honestly think is one of the better Thai place i have had and thought it was genuinely good, The food and the people rock.
