There is a decided Aussie flair to this place. I never asked whether this was intentional or accidental (the name, and the painting which appears on their label, appears more African than Aussie). But their wines, and to my mind their wine style, seem decidedly Aussie.
The wine room experience could also be described as Aussiesque (is that a word?). The woman who poured us wine was friendly, informative, and funny. She had worked for other wineries at Vina Piazza before, so we talked about the history of the place, and both agreed that it was a wonderful idea.Listed in: Lodi Live
