One of my favorite regular spots from my time in Charleston. Agree with everyone else on here that it's a pleasant surprise to see such a down-to-earth pub offering great food & service amidst all of the stuffy Charleston tourist traps found nearby.
Of all the things I could recommend, their specialty burgers top my list. They're some of the best burgers I've ever tasted in my life. They're easily worth the $8-$9 standard price, but if you pass-up their half-price burger Tuesdays, you are an idiot, my friend. (That or a vegetarian, in which case I take that back.)
FYI: half-price burger Tuesdays doesn't start until 7pm, but get there closer to 6:30pm to beat the rush. Grab a drink and wait for the deal to start.
I've tried many of the burgers, but always kept coming back to the (not-your-typical) BLT, composed as follows:
B :: bacon, as expected
L :: mixed greens for a darker, healthier spin on the classic
T :: a fried tomato slice. fresher & lighter than you'd imagine
Plus:
- a melting heap of mozzarella cheese
- amazing pesto mayonnaise.
- and it's not drowning in grease, to boot!
This is seriously the best burger I've ever had in my life. Get one, asap.
As far as everything else goes, I love this place. It has a traditional pub atmosphere with ample TVs for college hoops, NFL, and even some soccer matches and a TV dedicated just to Fuel TV.
The beer selection has a little something for almost everyone, but expect the same prices for a pint that you'd get elsewhere in town. They won't break the bank, but this small town guy is still getting used to city prices! -

An awesome find! Appeared to be just off the main drag and was a pleasant surprise as I was expecting average bar & grill food.
Service was excellent and loved the ample televisions. We luckily happened in upon the half price wings time. They were excellent; big and full of flavor.
Had a wrap that was the day's special. It was perhaps the best wrap I've ever had and it was huge. After the wings app and the very generous side salad that was overtaking my plate, I could only manage half the wrap. And I'm usually one to take down my entire meal and then help my girlfriend finish hers!
She had the burger with the fried tomato on it. Also delicious, didn't even taste like a hamburger (yes, you should gather that that's a good thing).
Would definitely check this place out again, likely at half priced wings hour, 6-7! -

The food and service is amazing. You will regret missing this bar on your visit to Charleston. I highly recommend the fried egg burger with a side of hot sauce and the fries are delicious!

You can't beat Moe's on tuesday. Half priced wings from 6-7 and half priced burgers from 7-8. The burgers are great and Moes offers all kinds of toppings from an egg to fried green tomato.

Awesome bar food. The best burger selection in Charleston as well as the best ribs. There are over six flavors for ribs and their buffalo chicken wrap is the best I have ever had. They have great beers on tap and they have many large, flat screen televisions that are always on sports.
Their happy hour is half off wings, $3.00 drafts, and $2.00 Pacifico's and Harps at all times.. You can go in there and have 24 wings and a few beers and not spend over $20.00. They also have a decent night presence. -

Decent food, terrific service. For a day of booze and college football in a foreign town, Moe's was very accommodating and had the feel of a local hangout rather than a tourist destination making it somewhat unique for downtown Charleston.

Great Bar Food - attentive service - reasonable prices. I had the black n' blue burger and I have to say its one of the best I have had in Charleston!! Tap beer selection was very good, bar tender was a very "happy" person. We had a good time - will be back!!!!

Great bar food. This Moe's in in the foodie section of town, but I appreciate they're not trying to be pretentious in their menu. Had great onion rings with a fantastic, spicy ranch-type dressing (way too spicy for the mealy-mouthed, but great for wife and me). The turkey reuben was a 3.5 out of 5 and the fries were a 4.5. Wife had a buffalo chicken sandwich that was OK but not the least bit spicy. Good chicken and well-cooked though. The house-made chips were very good. The beer selection was only mediocre, but fine for a good, basic bar with great bar food.
