My daughter has been here for performing the nutcracker dance we had a experience at the school and the auditorium was very clean and it was very simple it didn't feel like a big maze

Loved this place so much! So many beautiful memories in the quad eating takis and peppers with my friends! This place is the greatest school on Earth and I could never be more proud to call myself a Panther!

MoHi is a good school. A good school set in the wrong place. West side Modesto is basically ghetto, trash neighborhoods, and terrible people. The teachers there do their job, they care about students, and they teach a good curriculum. I was a student here for my four years, class of 21', and overall I enjoyed it. The police department was not too far considering this school is a couple of blocks away from downtown. However, there's a bunch of druggies around the school. Homeless people, gangbangers, weirdos, you name it made the environment less safe.

TLDR: good school, terrible neighborhoods.

OH HAY MO-HI!

So like, MHS was the bomb as far as highschools go. The fact that MHS has such a long history and older buildings gives it a step up on any other high schools in the area (although after a recent visit I noticed they have done a TON of updating).

I was in the IB program here and it was legit status hard core (yea, I said it). I got tons of scholarships and basically a free ride to college because of my excellent education here. I was friends with all my teachers and would hang out with them outside of school, I am actually BFF with my then Yearbook teacher, go MC!

I did a ton of stuff at MHS, from being on the cheer-leading Squad for two years, multiple theater productions, and chief photography editor for the yearbook, to name a few of my past times.

I honestly had the greatest time in high school, sure there were things I look back on now and go WTF!? (re: ex boyfriends) but like, I was 16! Who cares!

I never really partied and I DEF don't regret that, I had (have) amazing friends who had (have) the same values and priorities as I did (do).

We all graduated in the top of our class, I was #12 I believe, and one of my BFF's split a 3-way tie for #1, go Kate P!

Also, I had besties in other grades, higher and lower, and still keep in touch.

Honestly, though it is in the ghetto, Mo Hi is like, the only HS to go to.

Best school on Modesto. Offer awesome programs and have outstanding resources. The spirit is great, the staff is always there and the parents are very involved. MOHI TIL I DIE
