2 reviews for Model-A-Fitness
I have been going to this gym for a couple of months now and I love it. Trying to work off some of my circumference that I have collected from all the restaurants I reviewed. Joining was an easy process and it is cheap, only 20 bucks a month. They have tons of cardio & resistance training equipment. All the cardio machines have individual flat screen TV's and they also have a cardio movie room with a different movie playing every day. They also offer a juice bar, supplements, tanning and personal training.
It is always very clean, especially in the spacious locker rooms. Also every workout area has antibacterial stations and paper towels to wipe down your machine.
I think the only complaint I could possibly have is the selection of channels on the tv's attached to the equipment. It only gets around 10-15 random channels. But it is a good enough distraction while cycling or running on the treadmill.
I went to this gym for one year and I was not impressed. During busy times, there are not enough machines for everyone. I never saw the staff cleaning the machines, and if you worked out in the 'movie room' the movie was constantly turning off, going mute, etc. This gym does not offer any classes and the staff is pretty unfriendly (with the exception of the managers).
The showers were semi-clean but not pristine. This gym does offer tanning at a decent price ($14.99/month) but there is only one stand-up bed.
The gym is cheap ($19.99/month) but overall, you get what you pay for.
