If you're in the market for some new birks, chacos or danskos, M.J. Feet is your store. They have excellent customer service, friendly staff and they stand behind their products, 100%. They have a fabulous selection of socks and slippers and it's hard to leave empty-handed.

I had been looking for the Gizeh Exquisites - the Gizehs with the black footbed, discontinued and really unavailable everywhere online... anyway, Vicky tracked down a pair, had it shipped to the store for me! Love these guys!

Right, so, I like Birkenstocks. I came in with a certain style in mind and while they carried it, they didn't have the color I was looking for. The guy working there was very helpful and offered to have them shipped from, well, I have no idea from where. He said they'd be in at the end of the week and that he'd give me a call. Sweet, right? Well...
A month later and still no call back. uhmm, excuse me? A girl needs her Birkenstocks. I stopped in one day to ask and they said they had just been shipped and would be here in a couple days. Fine, fine.
They finally come in and they were definitely the wrong size. Are you serious? I bought them anyways thinking maybe it was my mistake ordering that size, but I would venture to guess they just messed up my order. Ah!!
Nice people, good selection, but my experience led me to believe them to be a little flaky and unorganized.
Who knew that there were so many different types of Birkenstock's? These aren't just for overgrown hippies anymore!
MJ Feet was once located in the Bellevue Square Mall but moved several years ago a few blocks away from the mall to a very cute pink house in the older main street area of Bellevue. The staff is knowledgeable and willing to do almost anything to make your visit positive.
The store is comfortable and cozy - you try on your shoes or candles sitting on comfy benches with warm throw pillows. The selection really is impressive - ranging from work boots, nursing shoes, business attires shoes, surprisingly cute sandals, and of course the hippie shoes!
The store also sells other feet accessories - foot balm/lotion, socks, Birkenstock foot beds (you put them in any of your other shoes to turn them into Birk's).
MJ Feet also sells the very comfortable and attractive Chaco's - in a wide range of styles and colors.
The University store is bigger and has a larger selection - but for eastsiders this is an excellent alternative!
Here's my little ditty on one of my MJ Feet, Birkenstock shoes.
I bought a pair of Birkenstock shoes for work here and four years later, after daily wear, they exchanged them for a new pair. Is that incredible or what!?!? We are talking daily wear and tear on these shoes because not only did I wear them for work, as a breakfast server for IHOP, but I wore them all the time for everyday use!
The reason I bought work shoes from this location in the first place is that I overheard a co-worker surprised they traded her shoes in for a new pair after a year! There was wear and tear that shouldn't have happened on the model of shoe that she had. I figured that was really nice business so I went in and bought from them.
Some time later, I was ready for another pair but kept putting it off because I've broken in my shoes and it's really hard to part with comfy shoes. Finally, reluctantly, and ofcourse after 3-4 years I really had to do it. I certainly wasn't expecting them to trade them in for a new pair but the sales person insisted!
She said they were doing some sort of market research on the wear and tear of the soles. I was so happy that I didn't have to pay another $250 for a new pair that I gave her my beloved pair for the new and improved model. I still have them and they still work for me. I am no longer a server so they don't get worn as much. Oh, how I love my Birkies.
Nothing says more about what kind of person you are than wearing Birkies, and I'm ok with that because I love my sport clogs. I also love that they cost about half of all the other styles and Birkies are not cheap. The quality justifies the cost, especially if you wear them year after year and fashion be damned.
If you still wear Birkies, this place has every style available to try and buy. Accessories throughout the store make this a one-stop Birkenstock drop. A bit pricey but what Birkie store isn't?
