My husband and I are sushi lovers!! This is an excellent restaurant for sushi, and they have a set price buffet for about 27-30 a person.  Made fresh right in front of you-only if you sit at the sushi bar, unique designs made with sushi rolls and sashimi.  Friendly service, close to our home.  I recommend this place more for lunch, not dinner

My boyfriend read all the reviews this place got and we decided to try it out.  (He's favorite place is in Mckinney...so we have been trying to find a place close by.)  We ended up going for Dinner with my son who is 2.  Which, we all know a sushi place isn't really a great "kid" place but he's a good boy and normally does fine anywhere.  We ordered my fav...the EEL Roll, and a few others along with a small yogurt with fruit for my son, who can live on fruit ...but it was like 8 bucks....We were debating on  what we should order for the little one and finally agreed on that.  After the order had been placed, I look over and they have a kids menu!!!  The waitress knew we were looking at the regular menu not knowing what we were going to get for him and she never said oh we have kids menu at the end of the table...so that was not cool.  

The EEL Rolls finally came out (I'm very easy to please for the most part) and there were two small pieces ....I was like umm that's it?!?! It was okay not great but not bad either but for the price to only get 2 pieces?  Anyway my boyfriend didn't like it and I probably wouldn't recommend it.  But we didn't do the Sushi Buffet so that might be a bit better.  Our total was about 60 bucks and we had to end up going to Mcdonalds afterwords lol...

We did try out Geisha Steak/Sushi Lounge on Coit/190.  And I think we've found our spot!  Great GREAT sushi!!  Try the Texas Roll yum!!! Great prices ...the EEL was only like 5 bucks for a full roll...so good.

I have been to many sushi bars and Japanese restaurants in the area and not one of them come even close to the freshness, atmosphere, and service of Miyoshi. Try to sit at the sushi bar for the full experience. The staff is incredibly friendly and the sushi chefs get to know each of their customers personally.

Miyoshi is the only place I will go for sushi or Japanese cuisine in the DFW area. The Alaskan Roll and Volcano Roll are phenomenal. Miyoshi usually has a special at each meal. Right now the specials for lunch and dinner are both All You Can Eat! Highly recommended restaurant and can't wait until more people experience this wonderful piece of heaven on earth.

Wow...this place is great!  Three of my friends and I went here for all you can eat sushi last night and it was incredible.  The sushi was good quality.  They have a really big selection too which was surprising to all of us.  The service is extremely friendly, the waitresses are sweet as can be and they definitely had several regulars in there.  We ordered so much sushi, I can't even remember half of it, but one that totally stuck out in my mind was the calamari roll!  We ordered that twice because it was so good.  The eel was delicious too!  YUMMMM I want to go back again now!  They have all you can eat lunch too for 14.95.  The menu is about half the size of the all you can eat dinner menu, but from what we saw they still have a very decent selection to choose from.  They also have some teriyaki, noodles and fried rice on the all you can eat menu.  I highly recommend this place to anyone in the DFW area.  It is well worth it to check them out.  Here is their website: http://www.miyoshitexa...

Went to lunch there today at this new Plano sushi restaurant. Nice decor and very fresh selections. One quirk, the bento box lunch does not come in a Bento Box. The server did explain this, but not exactly sure why? I would recommend this place for a casual lunch with no wait. Relatively unknown of yet but I hope that will change.
