Neighborhoods: Penn Center, Market East, Avenue of the Arts SouthThis is the place to buy all the old school Lakers Jersey. I got the gold and purple Magic Johnson Rookie Jerseys, the Blue Retro Kobe Jersey and the Purple Kareem Jersey. I also got the Shaq Rookie Jerseys as well. I was even surprised to find Mark Price and Vince Carter Jerseys as well. They have the best selection of retro jerseys. I especially enjoy the top of the line service that both Jerry and Andrew give. WWF's John Cena usually shops up there. Because of the top of the line service, John Cena's Music might play when I enter the place...LOL!

This sporting goods store is a Philadelphia staple. I was recently in Mitchell and Ness' when I was looking for an Eagles fitted for my boyfriend. They have a great selection and all were at reasonable prices. If ever I am in need of other sporting paraphernalia, I will definitely come back because they have loads.

If owned a sports bar the walls would be covered with framed jerseys from Mitchell and Ness. They have an amazing collection of throwback jersey's and memorabilia. I personally don't wear throwback jerseys on a regular basis (only my Reggie White to Eagles games), but I still enjoy going in to check out the merchandise. If you want to find a unique (and expensive) gift, you will find it at Mitchell and Ness. Check out their website...it has a ton of inventory that can be ordered online.

This has become a Philadelphia landmark. Mitchell & Ness has the authorized rights to a lot of older baseball, basketball, and hockey jerseys, i.e. "throwbacks."
These go for 3-500 dollars, so it's mostly out-of-towners that frequent this store. Personally, I just like to window shop... hopefully when someone is in there buying things. It's fun to watch, and it really shows Philadelphia's commitment to sports memorabilia.
A tourist spot off the beaten path.
