My friend goes here all the time, so he finally took us. The food was good in a healthy way.  Kind of like PFChangs. We went on a Saturday around 5:30(they open at 5pm on Saturdays).  There were only 2 other familes there.  Fast and attentive service. The bottomless ice tea was delicious.  The appetizer variety plate was very good. Actually, my only complaint would be the tofu in the Pad Thai. Too over-cooked. Everything delicious!  The cute decor was a plus too.

I was in town for business and found Mint's online. By looking at their website menu, I noticed a few dishes which I have never seen before in Boston area.
I ordered the Saigon Crepe for appetizer (rice packae stuff with shrimp, pork, bean sprout, served with lettuce, mint, basil and papaya, along with fish source). I did realize how big it is until it's out. The waitress showed how to eat it as you need to cut the crepe and then wrap it up with lettuce, along with some mint, basil and papaya, then dip in the source and eat. IT TASTE GREAT, a wonderful dish for the hot summer. Very refreshing. (photo I took: http://www.areyoueye.c...)
For entree, I orded the Steamed Chilean Sea bass. I assume it would be similar to the Chinese cooking style of steaming the whole fish with ginger and scallion, but it turned out too be different as well. Sea bass chuncks are steamed in a clay pot along with lily buds, shiitake mushroom, ginger, black & white woodears with light seasoning. The fish is tender and tasty as it absorbed all the flavors from the ingredients surounding it. (photo: http://www.areyoueye.c...)
For desert, I got the fried coconut banana with ice cream, a sweet ending for a wonderful meal.

Mint's is my favorite restaurant in the Rancho Cordova/Sacramento area and I do dine out a lot.  They have high-quality, healthy food and I have never found it to be oily like some of the other reviews mention.

First off, I like the salad that comes with the lunch. It has a great/unique dressing.  I also love the spring rolls, salads-especially the Thai Shrimp salad, the japanese eggplant and salmon. The service is good and the owners are very sweet.

I highly recommend this place for lunch and dinner.

I had the "brown noodle" special. Kinda like HK style pan-fried mein with veggies and seafood. The noodles I don't think were pan-fried rather packaged noodles already crunchy. The veggies and seafood tasted ok but the noodles a bit strange. Menu was a bit confusing, not sure what kind of restaurant this is suppose to be.

Squeeeeeaaaaallllllll.  That's the sound of all the little leeches in the world dying after they ate some food at Mint's.

My meal was too salty. I don't know how much water I drank during the meal because the waiter kep refilling it every time I took a sip but I drank tons this afternoon.  There were quite a few dishes though, so maybe I picked a saltier one. [lemongrass chicken and a vermicelli bowl with shrimp.

Nice decor, which probably increases the price of the meal.

The foods good, reasonably priced and at lunchtime the service is fast.  We've popped by there a few times for lunch as it's around the corner from my work.

I love the lunchtime sampler, where you get to choose 3 items plus rice.  The spicy asparagus (in season),mongolian beef, and the  lemongrass chicken are delish!

More of an Asian Fusion eatery, nestled between the post-office and the Blue Shield business.  Great lunch deals, for only $7, one could order from several of their tasty dishes (chow mein, sesame chicken, curry, spicy green beans, fried rice.....).  Combinations are recommended, as is their Vietnamese Coffee.  That will keep you up, due to the viscosity level!

Mediocre fare, but for Rancho Cordova, not that bad.

Service is quick and efficient, setting is a modern take on memories from Bali.

The lemongrass chicken and shrimp vermicelli were both good - and decent-sized lunch portions. I wasn't too impressed with the prices though. Granted, it comes with soup, but the lunch dishes were all around $9. They are also one of those places that charges a "split meal" fee and for drink refills. Lame. I admit, I am cheap, especially when it comes to lunch. Although I enjoyed the food, I think I would be just as happy with a cheaper meal at a place like Rice Noodle.

Food is good, except for the occassional oily fare. Lunch is well-priced. Best thai in Rancho Cordova area! Pad thai is my favorite. Combinations are good and price wise, the way to go! They'll see me back there for sure!
