Dear Marriott in St. Louis Park:

I thought we were good friends when I first came in.  A bartender at the event I attended joked around with me as he poured my madras, and the banquet servers came around often and didn't make fun of me as I was too tipsy to properly dip and take my finger food from the tray.  Plus, I'm still nostalgic about your establishment from all the Bat Mitzvahs I attended here when I was 13 years old.

But then you changed.  It all started when your staff members (including the security cop and overnight front desk woman) became rude to some of the hotel guests and kicked them out for being too loud (i.e. for letting the room door slam behind them in the late evening-- which is a problem of poor construction rather than guests deliberatly causing a raucous, I may add).  Not very nice.  All the madras in the world couldn't make up for that.  Even all the jagermeister in the world, and that's saying a lot.

Love -
Jen Z., La Quinta fan

(NB: On the upside, they have ample parking and shampoo/conditioner samples from Bath & Body works)

Stayed here for four nights while in town for business.  The room was nice with all the necessary amenities.  I did catch two spiders in my bed, though...didn't make me feel to comfortable trying to fall asleep each night.  The bed was pretty comfortable though.  Drink vending machine was out of bottled water for the whole time on my floor.  I had to go up one floor to get bottled water out of the vending machine.  Overall, for a hotel that's kinda off the beaten path, it's pretty noisy.  My room was near the housekeeping room and those girls were really loud working and talking.  Downstairs is Kip's Irish Pub which was convenient, because there was no where else nearby to eat besides a couple blocks away.  No car to get around in.
