I've been searching for a good hairdresser for YEARS and YEARS. i finally found one! Her name's Natale and she's pretty amazing. She's laid back, no pressure, helps me decide what to do with my hair, and executes beautifully! She doesn't even give me a hard time about how freakishly long it takes to blow dry my hair. Every time i call they try accommodate my schedule and if Natale isn't working a certain day, I wait for her. Prices are VERY reasonable for a shampoo, cut, and blow dry. She also always straightens my hair after the blow dry.
The location is really close to my office so that's always a plus. I go on my lunch break and am in and out in less than an hour. The salon itself is pretty impressive too.
My spa & salon that I went to for years is closing at the end of the month, so I started my search for a new place to get my manicure/pedicures. I have to tell you that I am super picky when it comes to my mani/pedis....no walk in, non-English speaking, get them in and get them out place is going to do for me!
I found Milicent & Company on yelp and decided to give them a call. The girl that answered the phone at the front desk was very nice and answered all my questions. They have about 7 nail people working there (most of them have worked there for many years) and she made my appointment with ease.
I had Sandra Tejeda and she was really nice and made me feel very comfortable. She did a fantastic job on the mani/pedi and paid attention to all the little details. She was a little more expensive than I am use to, but it was worth the money.
If you are looking for a quiet spa experience, this is not the place! They have about 34 hairdressers next to where the nail people are and it is pretty noisy on the floor! -1 Star!
I had my nails done by KIM. She was referred by a friend, and my nails look SO FABULOUS. Kim fit me in when she had a cancellation, and was friendly and HIGHLY SKILLED.
Liz Scialdone is the best hairdresser there. She'll do whatever style and cut you want or if you are open to it she'll suggest what she thinks will work with your face, skin tone, etc. Ask for Liz S.!
