Enjoyed attending 3 or 4 conferences here since 2000. Stayed overnight during 2 of the conferences. Have eaten several times @ Thyme on the Creek and gotten espresso drinks from their little espresso bar that is at the edge of the restaurant.
I like the way their conference space is set up. It is nice for medium sized conferences. Socializing and networking within these various spaces is amazing, especially in the outdoor plazas and pool area.
Staying here as a guest wasn't the most optimum experience...I live in town here so perhaps I'm a bit jaded, but I did ask for a room with a decent view and what I got was a particularly blah and downright depressing parking lot view. By the time I got to the room to settle in I was too tired to argue with anyone, so I just accepted the situation. Like I said, I live in this town and have plenty of chances to enjoy the various views here. It just seems rather passive/aggressive for the desk clerk to assign me to parking lot view when I asked for a room with a view. C'est la vie.
The next morning I said something about it and was met with silence and invalidation. I will never again pay money to stay in this hotel.
About the restaurant, the breakfast buffets are nice, but the food quality and preparation is fair-to-middlin', and the prices are pretty steep.
I wish that the management of this hotel would focus on how their employees dole out customer service, and perhaps also focus on some improvement in their food service.
It is such a nice conference facility....and has the potential to be a world-class place with a little bit of attention and focus.

This is probably not the same thing is the Millenium Hotel's restaurant "Thyme on the Creek," but if it's similar, avoid it. Overpriced, bad food, atmosphere, and ugly surroundings (although people were nice enough).
